From day one to the very last day, Carlos was friendly and approachable. For the initial consult, he was early (even earlier than me) and left a great impression because he asked if he should take off his shoes when entering my home. Once I hired Carlos, he was reachable at early hours, later hours, and even weekends. Contractors in this industry are notorious for being bad communicators, missing in action, or disappearing mid job. Through my whole project, not one of those single problems occurred with Carlos. I was able to communicate and approach Carlos whether it was questions, requests, or concerns. Also, Carlos and his team were prompt, friendly, and hardworking the entire project. I am very particular and took my time to find the right hardware, accessories, or to make a decision and Carlos and his team worked with me to make sure they executed my husband's and my vision and to our satisfaction. Remodels can be daunting and comes with a price, so I truly appreciated their understanding. His pricing is competitive. Give Carlos a call and he will promptly show up for an initial consult to walk through your space or home and understand what you're hoping to accomplish. The entire time I worked with Carlos, I sensed his pride in his business and his craftsmanship every step of the way. To top it off, Carlos was always ready, cheerful, and smiling when arriving for the day!

Did you know that the "AU" in "AU Standard Concrete" stands for "Gold"? Au is the periodic table…read moresymbol for gold. I wish I can give a review rating of more than 5 stars for this concrete company. Ramon and his crews are truly the gold standard in the concrete business! They just completed a major concrete project for my house totaling over 2,400 sq ft of concrete and done to perfection! I got a bunch of quotes for this concrete project at my house recently and talked to a bunch of different concrete companies and personnel. I found Au's quote to be the most comprehensive and cost-effective out of the six of so quotes that I received. Also, Ramon came across as prompt, pleasant, courteous, top tier, and highly experienced in concrete work (he worked the Sixth Street Bridge project in LA for years - pouring all that concrete!). I figured that I would be in good hands with Au Standard Concrete and Ramon and selected their bid for the concrete work for my house. In hindsight, I was totally correct when all is said and done! The work proceeded without a glitch (well at least from my home owner's perspective anyway). Everything progressed smoothly as promised and finished promptly right on the day Ramon promised it would be done. Ramon and his crew showed up promptly @7am every day to first perform the demolition, excavation, base prep, and forms for the concrete pour. Then on the day that the concrete trucks were scheduled they showed up promptly at 5am to prep the site for the concrete pour then finished the concrete and performed final site cleanup, all done by 2pm in the same day. The resulting concrete was just beautiful and met and exceeded all my wishes and expectations. Ramon added important touches to my concrete project that I did not even think of nor requested/specified in my original bid, such as giving my circular gazebo concrete pad a slight slope from the center of the circle out to the outside perimeter to facilitate water draining in the rains. Ramon and his crews did exceptional work. They made this major concrete project at my house look easy with all their experience, right personnel, and the right equipment. They also had great manners and lots of respect for my house and property while working this concrete project at my house. My house was left in better shape than when they started the work. I am beyond pleased with the end results. I am also happy with the costs which was very reasonable. It's been truly a pleasure for me to work with Au Standard Concrete/Ramon, and I highly recommend Ramon and his crews for any of your concrete needs.
