I am happy to say however, that my massage was exactly what I was expecting. Upon arriving at Presence Wellness, you instantly feel the calm and relax atmosphere of the massage center. My massage therapist, Nicole, was not only very personable and friendly, but also professional while giving the massage. The room in which I had my massage was very clean and relaxing. The table along with the décor was all very well up-kept, helping to bring a relaxed feeling to one self. Over the course of an hour, Nicole was able to provide a whole-body massage. Beginning with aromatherapy, I was instantly able to relax (as much as my stressed muscles would allow me). Over the course of an hour, Nicole carefully and delicately worked all my major muscles from my head to my feet. i realized that in order to get the best deep tissue massage possible, allow the therapist to use a little more pressure in order to really get down into your tissues. This is exactly how Nicole performed her massage, and it definitely helped at reliving the stress that I had built up in my body! My only complaint however, is that one hour simply isn't long enough ;) I could have gone on for more additional hours if time allowed! Due to the fact that an hour is a very short time, don't be afraid to mention problem areas or spots in which you would like extra attentive care, at the beginning of the session! I bought a package of weekly, non-surgical facials with a peel, and have had the facials with both Mikaela and Stacey. This place is truly spectacular. Both aestheticians take so much time to get to know your skin and get you remarkable results. I've felt every time I've been in there that they truly want to me to see results, and they are incredibly thorough. I am not even half way through my package, and my skin looks better than it ever has. After all the postpartum just feeling yuck, its so nice to look in the mirror and look better without makeup than I ever have. I very highly recommend both Mikaela and Stacey. DECEPTIVE AND EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SKIP SKIP SKIP. I recently relocated and received a certificate in the mail for a cut at the salon. I came in for the cut and the stylist blow dried my hair. Stylist makes no mention that the blow dry would be an additional cost, it is not posted anywhere in the salon, and frankly, I have never been to a salon where this service is separate. How would one know that the cut was satisfactory without seeing the dried, finished product? Considering my stylist had to continue cutting after the blow dry provides an abundantly clear answer to my question, you can't. So the manager/owner says the total cost was $65 and when I handed her the coupon for 100% off, she goes on to say that the total is $35. When I said "Don't you think that it's unclear based on the coupon that the blow dry portion of the service is not included? Your employees at booking and at time of service makes no mention of it?" She couldn't even offer an apology. A simple, I'm sorry it's not clear and we will retrain employees would go along way. If Essentials thinks its worth $65+ per cut, they should 1) be offering basic scalp massages during wash, 2) water, tea, coffee during cuts, and 3) not leave customers with more hair on their clothes than a shedding dog. All basic "essentials" offered at Zona in Norwell/Weymouth, Verde in Braintree for $50 a cut with blow dry.

I got in contact with Katie who to make an appointment and she'd see what she could do to help. I booked an hour appointment with Katie for a few days later. The building they are in doesn't have wheelchair access (they have one step) into the building. This is a pain but, luckily for me for I can mange. Katie was great, she said that she did research and read articles about giving massages to people in wheelchairs. Katie did a great job to making me comfortable and at ease. I am writing this review after having gotten my nails done yesterday afternoon. This nail salon is located in the busy center of Hingham with parking right out front. My sister, cousin and myself all made appointments to get a manicure. I got dip extensions with a sparkly "almost" French tip and individually placed crystals for each finger. I have never gotten dip or extensions before and the nail tech was incredibly patient with answering all my questions and concerns. I was floored by how stunning my nails looked when he was done. Absolutely a work of art. I can't stop admiring his work. All the edges of my nails are smooth and the same height as my other hand. Just perfection. My sister got dip extensions with some swirls and they turned out even better than what she imagined. Vanna suggested adding sparkles and it was gorgeous when she added the finishing touches! My cousin got a regular manicure with different colors for a more eccentric, but chic look. Again, her tech suggested picking different colors from what she initially chose. Pinks over nudes and the color scheme complimented her skin tone so much more. I can't say enough besides the fact the nail techs here know exactly what they're doing and their opinions/advice on what you want to get are so helpful and well thought out. What's most important to me is excellent cleanliness, medical-grade hygiene and perfect technique followed by having a variety of nail polish colors from which to choose. I also appreciate when the technician can do a good basic manicure without polish and just expert buffing...I will have to see how this is done on a future visit. Yesterday I decided to try this salon that I've driven by a number of times. I was not disappointed. Trinity did my mani/pedi and she was terrific. She was careful, thorough, neat and meticulous. I knew I wanted white nail polish for both mani and pedi and she helped me with my selection. I chose OPI Alpine White which sets off my (unintended) tan very nicely. The shop is very orderly, clean and nicely set up. Everything looks well-taken care of. It's got a mellow vibe and there was quiet, pleasant music is playing in the background. They have a nice selection of updated magazines. It seems to be a relaxing place. There are a few choices of pedicures you can get. The basic pedicure for $30 was enough for me and included leg rub and hot towels wrapped around my legs which was soothing. My manicure included the base coat, 3 coats of color and the top coat. My last salon only gave two coats of color and sometimes that really was not enough. I got a great hand and arm massage and at the end, I even got a neck and shoulder massage! Total cost for mani/pedi combo before tip was $60. Only 3 dollars more than the last salon I went to and for a far better job and better atmosphere. I will definitely be back to Angel Nails! This was terrific service with cleanliness and professionalism. I recommend!
