My primary reason for massage is to treat a nagging neck/shoulder issue. Chrissy used a few techniques I had never had before (and I've probably had 50 different therapists over the years). I can tell she's also a yoga specialist because she incorporated stretches that were very effective. In addition to being a therapeutic massage for my problem areas, so much of it felt really nice and relaxing. I appreciated Chrissy's warm, calm demeanor. Facility was clean and pleasant. Good value for an hour massage. Looking forward to making a monthly massage part of my self care routine.

As soon as I entered I felt relaxed and calm. Everything about Lauren's business has a cool vibe. I loved my only prior massage experience I had while on vacation a few months ago, but the experience with Lauren topped it by a large margin. It was so relaxing and de-stressing that I nodded off a couple times. As soon as it was over I made another appointment. I can't wait to go back. I would recommend Lauren to anyone that ever wanted to get a massage, but was apprehensive. You won't believe what you were missing.

Aha Moment After a recent hip injury, I'd put in two weeks…read moreof treatment with a PT; though the pain was substantially less, i was still incredibly tight but worse... my hip mobility was still 75% compromised and daily functionality was significantly affected. My next step was an Ortho to inquire about surgery. Sheepishly, I took a friend's advice and scheduled a one-hour with owner and head body worker, Pi. No stranger to traditional massage, I couldn't understand why she had a two-week waitlist. I soon found out why... Within 30 minutes, we were laughing together in between rounds of excruciating pain/tears as she worked my hip area and all surrounding areas. She was incrementally opening my hip back up! I could literally see/feel improvement in real time, not to mention the tightness dissipating. By the end of the session I was about 70% back to normal. I went home and cried to my wife, as hope for full healing (without surgery) had returned. Pi and partner Chris (front of house) worked together over the next week to fit me in for a second round (via another clients' cancellation). Round two left me speechless, as I was functionally healed. Three weeks later I returned for a full-body 90 minute to round off the rest of my body, and I couldn't be happier. I feel like I dodged a bullet - physically, mentally, and certainly financially. Pi and Chris - thank you for your absolute passion for healing and wellness, and for authentically caring about your clients and community!
