Aha Moment After a recent hip injury, I'd put in two weeks of treatment with a PT; though the pain was substantially less, i was still incredibly tight but worse... my hip mobility was still 75% compromised and daily functionality was significantly affected. My next step was an Ortho to inquire about surgery. Sheepishly, I took a friend's advice and scheduled a one-hour with owner and head body worker, Pi. No stranger to traditional massage, I couldn't understand why she had a two-week waitlist. I soon found out why... Within 30 minutes, we were laughing together in between rounds of excruciating pain/tears as she worked my hip area and all surrounding areas. She was incrementally opening my hip back up! I could literally see/feel improvement in real time, not to mention the tightness dissipating. By the end of the session I was about 70% back to normal. I went home and cried to my wife, as hope for full healing (without surgery) had returned. Pi and partner Chris (front of house) worked together over the next week to fit me in for a second round (via another clients' cancellation). Round two left me speechless, as I was functionally healed. Three weeks later I returned for a full-body 90 minute to round off the rest of my body, and I couldn't be happier. I feel like I dodged a bullet - physically, mentally, and certainly financially. Pi and Chris - thank you for your absolute passion for healing and wellness, and for authentically caring about your clients and community! read more

I had been in pain for to long before I made contact with someone that could help. It was Norwell Thai Spa that responded quickly and provided the massage I needed. Although the massage was uncomfortable due the amount of pain I was in after 2 days/3 days the pain had subsided. Im truly thankful for everyone at Norwell Thai Spa.. read more

Most people take having full range of motion in their neck for granted. But I have chronic neck issues and I got whiplash last October when I was rear ended. So being able to move my head without limitations and pain after getting a massage from Pie is incredible! I really don't know what I would do without her. read more

Truly spectacular customer service. I wanted to get a local resident a gift card, and was able to arrange it over the phone and had all the details of delivering it to her managed effortlessly. If I am ever in the area, I will be coming by to experience the amazing service in person. read more

This is is second time going for couples foot massage, and it was even better the second time. First of all the owner answers the phone and is so customer service focused that it was such a welcoming and rare experience. The foot massages also come with some neck, upper shoulder massage. The best was when my husband was sleeping because he was so relaxed. Looking forward to trying a full massage soon read more

It's been just over a year since my original post, and so it's time for an update because a lot of businesses tend to slide downhill in a year. That's not the case here. In fact, the place has improved. Pie is still her usual fantastic self. Her partner Chris operates the front of house aspect of the place, and he's a warm and caring presence the moment you walk through the door. And now they've brought on a new bodyworker Tom who is also fantastic. While Pie was on vacation for a month, I went to Tom, and he's extremely skilled. I've also heard amazing things about the other people who work there, but I haven't tried anyone else yet. What it demonstrates is the owners' commitment to delivering the best services possible. They don't just hire anyone with a certificate; they screen them carefully to ensure strict quality control. Huge kudos to Pie and Chris for building the most authentic and valuable bodywork place I've found. read more

My wrist had hurt and suffer for 6 months or more by fallen from snowboarding. it couldn't move or hold the small knife and everything had gone because I got the massage from pie, just only first time i felt absolutely 80% better. and now i am 90% great after the second time!! Ps. i didn't expect that will be help much like this. I would like to give 10 read more

Pie was a powerhouse she was a master of controlled pressure. Deep tissue work, stretching, working the large muscles and the knots in my worst areas of tension. I will definitely go back. The warm, friendly, and courteous care and speedy response and accommodation was genuine full service care. Chris was thorough for following up on both my phone message and online request. A great team. read more

This place was affordable and the massages were great. Felt VERY relaxed afterward. Good place to get a couples massage!

I work in the sports industry and need massages regularly. I found Pie on google and had a 90 minute massage today.... OMG, an incredible 90 mins, followed by a post-rub tea and conversation. I've never had a therapist work so hard and do everything she could to fix my somewhat lack of mobility. Already booked my wife and will return myself, very soon. I've had more than 100 massages over the years. None quite like this one! read more

Great place - truly authentic; Thai people doing their traditional healing arts. Highly recommended! :-)

How to I start. From the respect and consideration you are shown upon your arrival to the peaceful and aromatic surroundings. This is a special place a true getaway. Very clean and 100% professional. The women here are of the best nature and highest caliber of anywhere I have visited. The Thai spay does involve some bending and slight manipulation but don't fight it as you are in the best of hands. Also some massage with oils but this only adds to the trip you can experience. I am never one for 90 minutes but in this case it seemed to be so relaxing I opted for 90 minutes to try. That time passes too quickly and I was amazed at how relaxed I felt. This in my opinion is a newly opened GEM of a place and you should really treat your self and tell only the friends you really like. I must thank PIE for her ability to make anyone feel singularly special. Tony read more

Excellent service and friendly staff. Had a great time and great treatment. Highly recommendable

I have had a constant dull pain in my lower back for years. No Dr or masseuse has ever been able to make it go away completely. Until I had just 2 massages from Pie at Norwell Thai spa. And she gives you a full hour. Not 50 minutes like those chain places read more

My back has been hurting and I called for basically a walk in on a Tuesday and it was busy! But the massage was amazing. I've gotten Thai massages before and it was almost too rough and not paying attention to me but the gal who massaged was gentle but firm at same time. Price was very good!!!! Will be back very soon. read more

Hands down the absolute best Thai massage anywhere in the area and at a great price. The owner Pie had been working for the past few years in Quincy and decided to open her own place. She is a AMTA member and truly understands the science of the body. I Highly recommend! 5 stars!! read more

Amazing! I have had a lot of massages and prefer deep pressure. This was a fantastic experience! Not only was my massage relaxing but my therapist was in tune with my needs she worked out all the stress areas and was very careful but therapeutic with my ailing hip. Can't wait to go again! read more

Woke up with a sore back and went searching for a local deep tissue message with a Thai/Quincy level of expertise. It was the most thorough message of my life. Not for the weak of heart. Pie was amazing. Back pain was gone. Within a few days I felt "looser" than I have in years, especially in the quads and erector muscles along the spine. I appreciated the stretching as well. I will be back, hopefully once a month. read more

I decided to try a Thai massage because my muscles were so tight, I thought stretching/massage would help. I had a regular massage elsewhere the day before and it didn't help.) Pie did a fantastic job, great massage & stretches- my finally my body feels good, not tight! They were so welcoming and the place is clean. The prices are very reasonable, I think it is a great value. I'm telling my family & friends about it, I will be going here for my massages from now on. They are having a special during feb 2018, check the website for details. read more

I went for a half hour massage today after work on a whim. I decided once I was there I would change and get an hour which they accommodated me with no problem. I had Christina she was so knowledgeable and you could tell her passion for her work. I get massages often and I have not had a better massage than what I received from Christina. I had a specific area that was causing me discomfort and she helped the situation so much! I highly recommend her and I will for sure be back! I can't wait to sleep without pain tonight! read more

The best massage I ever received. After getting a Thai massage, I would never go back to having a traditional massage again. This is like a massage, stretching class and chiropractic all in one. I went to Chloe who was very strong and wonderfully talented. I highly recommend Norwell Thai Spa! read more

Amazing service, have been back twice this month and sent my sister in too. Super clean, professional, serious muscle relief and a great stretch at the end. read more

I'm new to the area and found this Spa via Yelp, and I'm so glad I trusted the reviews. I had a 1 hour massage (with Tina), and it was, by far, the best I've ever had. If you're looking for your run of the mill Swedish massage, this is not for you. From the moment you walk in they make you feel like family. The space is clean and the staff very professional. The massage itself was amazing - not at all what I've ever experienced before. Def. deep pressure/therapeutic as opposed to the light touch I'm used to elsewhere. And Tina literally put her whole body into it. In addition to massage, she performed passive range of motion and stretching. It was amazing -- and the price is right - $60 for a full body/1 hour massage. They also run a Sunday special of traditional Thai massage - on a floor mat, clothed/no oil, and focus on stretching. Can't wait to try this! I highly recommend NTS - and I will be back. read more
