This place is a hidden gem! I booked the Integrative East Meets West Bodywork because this treatment includes the option of reflexology. This is my second massage with Phuong and I have to say that he is truly a master in his craft. You can sense the passion and pride he has in his work. Tara knows her stuff! She is slightly unorthodox .. in that she literally straddled my back and lifted my shoulders up in a "Cobra Pose" with my bare chest flopping in the wind while my level of awkwardness peaked that day (because it was a couples massage so 3 other humans also witnessed this experience ) but no kidding i left feeling so good and I carry every thing in my back. I'm very uptight in my shoulders and i told her what was bothering me and she did an amazing job she had no shortage of tools to help get the knots out either. I've had services with both Lisa for hypnotherapy and Phuong for massages and there is no other wellness place like it. Lisa is phenomenal in her practice. I started seeing her to improve business and also find overall balance and have seen much improvement. I've also had new discoveries that continues to challenge my growth. A good friend raves about this place and gave me a gift certificate to try out, now I'm a fan and will treat myself to a relaxing massage once a month. Perfect location, with great view of the water across the street. Facility is very nice and more importantly clean, tastefully decorated interior. My 90 minute deep tissue massage with Phuong was more than an excellent session. I have never before experienced actual measurable improvement after a massage until now. The following day after my massage, when I got in my car and pivoted right to look through the rear window, the improvement was unmistakable. This had always been a very difficult movement for me, due to extreme stiffness and very limited flexibility. I was amazed at the improvement! I notice more flexibility and less pain in my movements when walking or doing daily routine. I also noticed definite improvement and flexibility when doing my workouts. He clearly understands the physiology behind a good massage, incorporating stretches and techniques that remind me what makes the difference between a "yeah, that was nice" massage and a "wow!" massage. He constantly checks throughout the session if the pressure is within my tolerance threshold or I need it to be increased.
