I love a good massage! Thai Wellness Massage has a couple locations scattered around the South Shore and Boston area. I have only visited this one in Quincy though. We have booked an hour long massage, one hour before online and had no issues. Also, if the time that you would like to book is not available, you can always call and ask them to see if there is any availability. This has happened before for me & the staff was actually free for appointments! Great massages; make sure to let them know which areas are bothering you so that they can focus more on that area. ***Bring cash! One of the best massages I have gotten to date! The workers are incredibly friendly and really take their time on all the troublesome areas. I got a couples massage and we both thoroughly enjoyed. Right after walking out we knew we'd be coming back for more. I have been a customer at the Quincy location for about 5 years. I was favorably impressed by the price/quality ratio and found that Thai massage was uniquely helpful in relieving work-related stress. I am disappointed that Thai Wellness has significantly raised their prices and has introduced "Swedish Massage". Why would a Thai massage parlor do that? The traditional Thai massage that I found so helpful years ago has been rebranded "deep tissue massage" and is even more expensive than the "Swedish" massage. I think I could abide the price increases if the cleanliness of the establishment kept pace. However, the carpet (which was dirty enough 5 years ago) has only gotten more soiled in the interim. I'm sorry to say I'm giving up on my old favorite Thai massage place--The price/quality ratio just doesn't add up anymore. read more

First mistake I actually went to Thai Wellness massage when I had hurt my back so limping in I didn't get any pics at all but trust me the place is decent. The outside doesn't look like it will wow you but the interior and the rooms themselves are nice. It's small, there's free parking and the service is pretty good. My masseuse asked me all the time whether it felt good for me and if the pressure was right. The massage overall was good, I was there for a 90 min session and I think it was charged just right. The massage was going great and then all of a sudden I had a full grown human standing on my back and I was like hold on here, just stepped it up to the next level. I hurt my back during moving and boxing, and dragging all the heavy boxes to where they need to be!! Well, you name it!! My back was so uncomfortable for the whole day and my friend recommended this place for the massage. The staffs were nice and friendly for the most part, especially the girl who did my massage!! Taking off one star because when I walked in and tried to talk to them, both staffs at the front were still glueing their eyes on their phones and smiling at times! Really???? I wouldn't do that in a normal conversation, left alone to a customer!! The massage itself was awesome!! I only had a half an hour massage for a trial but I really liked it!! She also stretched me at the end!! Which really helped my back! I liked the hot stones and the hot towel. She also told me for an hour massage for couple, it is $65/person! Wow!! It's been a long, long time since I've written a Yelp review, but it's been an even longer time since I've gotten a massage, with COVID + safety. Breaking my silence to recommend Jenna! I came in with a year's worth of knots and tightness - I have a desk job and I'm constantly noticing that my shoulders are up to my ears even with stretch breaks. TL; DR: If I was the shrug emoji, I'd look like this, ¯\/(ツ)\/¯ instead of this:¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've tried to manage with all the home massage devices, but in the end, nothing beats a deep tissue massage to reset and relax. I made the appointment online, was put in a room a few minutes after my time slot. I don't think what you put in the online form gets passed along (ex. what you're looking for), so I did have to let her know what I was looking to focus on for the massage. Anyway, she was amazing - I was worried she wasn't putting enough pressure but she was able to work out the knots without going full-force elbow strike on my back and neck, but was pleasantly surprised at the end. I felt loose and limber, and relaxed. It was leg day the day prior to my visit ,but I had her focus more on my neck and shoulders because those knots I can work out myself, so you can ask to skip the full body massage if you're looking to focus on a certain area. The -1 star is that the place is a little dingy + the sheet was super thin and the room was cold. This was a massage for relief, not pleasure so ambiance was not an important factor when selecting a massage spot. Pricing may be confusing, I paid $100 for 60 minutes of deep tissue massage ($80+20 tip), but I think there is a discount for 2+ people. Definitely going to be my Quincy go-to! read more

My shoulders and upper back are always so tight! I came across Thai Wellness Massage from the location and reviews/rating. The masseuse I have had are Excellent. My first time there I had Chanida. I felt bad for her because I haven't had a massage in MONTHS and was so tight with knots everywhere. She worked out all my knots and was very attentive and checked to make sure the pressure was fine. I let her do her thing and everything just melted away. The second time at Thai Wellness Massage, I had Emma. She was also Amazing! Same tight upper back/shoulders. All the tightness was relieved by the end of the massage and I got a free back crack from the Thai massage techniques. I booked my next appt and have referred 3 people to the place. The people there are all very nice. The masseuse are all tiny women but they got some strength with their massages if you're looking for that. One last thing to note.. once you mention your problem areas, the masseuse will adjust massage techniques according to what you need. I got a mix of walking on my back, deep tissue, hot rocks and Thai in both visits. Definitely recommend and will be going back! Note: you park on Elmwood street and walk 1-2 minutes to the yellow house and the entrance is to the side in the driveway. read more

Well overdue review, I came here with my guy for a couples massage last month. We were taken very last minute and welcomed with warm smiles. The massage parlor was beautifully decorated, smelled amazing and was very clean. The masseuses were friendly and communicated with us very well. We opted for the herbal bag, I would definitely recommend this. Besides feeling amazing, the smell of the herbs just being heated in whatever they use was very relaxing. We're from nyc and travel to pembroke Massachusetts to visit his family and this is now a must stop place for us. We went to a different place recently by us in nyc and it made us miss this place terribly lol. We will be back soon!! read more

Stood there arguing about which person was going to take me for my half hour appointment. Tried to upsell me to do an hour instead of half hour when I first walked in the door. Apparently half hour ($70 btw) is not enough money to get anyone to willingly take you. SIX people stood there arguing about who wants to take me and all of them looking at the screen and shaking their heads. I got up and walked out. Will never come back here again, and will also be sure to spread the word online about it too. Went up the street to Thai Herbal and they saw me no problem and their half hour is $60 so I'll be going there from now on. Response to the "Owner": It's my review from Google and yes I posted it here too because people need to know what's going on there. Also, the original response has nothing to do with what I said and obviously, the owner didn't even bother to read my review just skimmed over it. Sorry I'm not willing to bump myself to an hour so you can buy more luxury SUV's and Louis Vuitton bags. You clearly only care about money these days, and you received the review you earned. Treat your clients better, and you won't get bad reviews. There's no explanation or excuse that will make poor service okay. read more

I have to say this spa was well worth it! I called on a whim with time to burn and thought to get a massage. The receptionist was very friendly. It was my first time calling and I wanted an appointment right away. She told me to come In And I was pleasantly surprised. They attended to me right away. The therapist was very skilled and I was very relaxed when I left. I will definitely go back and forget about these larger chains that have horrible service nationwide. I just had the most divine massage by Shana at Thai Wellness Massage in Quincy. It's like she knew exactly what my body needed and got in every knook and cranny of my shoulder blades and neck. It felt amazing for relief of the tension in those muscles. It's unbelievable the range of motion i got back in my neck after one session. I want to take Shana fold her up and stick her in my pocket! I wish the massage never had to end. The Thai techniques are by the far the best massage quality I've ever had. I don't think i could ever go to a traditional massage therapist again. I've had many massages in my young life but this by far was THE best massage I've ever had. Let me start from the beginning. I was referred to this lovely location by a friend who had nothing but positive words for the massage she received in the past. I quickly made an appointment and had no problem with booking a spot. The reminder call a day before was perfect and I happily confirmed my appointment. On the day of the appointment I had no issue finding the location and parking and was promptly welcomed and shown to my room for the next 90 minutes. I had the traditional Thai massage and it was everything I needed and more. My massage therapist was Jenna and while I didn't know what to expect she made me feel comfortable and helped me relax as she went to work on this stiff body of mine. Her pressure was firm but she can adjust as needed. I would definitely recommend and have found my go to spot for excellent customer service and massages! read more

I've always wanted to come here for a massage because all of my friends have told me good things about it. I finally got the chance to this past weekend. I called the day before to make an appointment for two people and they were able to schedule me. I was running about 10-15 minutes, but they were very understanding when I called to tell them that. We were greeted when we walked through the doors and was asked to use hand sanitizer before signing a Covid agreement/getting our temperatures taken. We were asked to follow one of the masseuse to a room upstairs - the room was very clean, there were large bamboo plants (maybe they were artificial) on one side of the room which looked beautiful. She instructed us to remove our clothes and lay under the sheets on the table before she left to give us privacy. After a few minutes, two masseuses came in, asked us where we want them to massage the most, how hard the pressure we would like. They also made sure to ask us if we were allergic to anything (oils, scents). Overall, the massage was wonderful, my masseuse was very gentle on the parts that I told her was most tensed. I LOVED when she used the hot stones on my shoulders. I think it was definitely worth it the price for the hour! I'm already thinking of when I will come back! read more

It was my first time at Thai Wellness Massage in Quincy and I did the 90 minute Thai massage. I'm really glad I chose the 90 minute version! The staff were very professional and courteous. I was immediately shown to my room which was clean and comfortable. My massage therapist was wonderful, asking if there were any areas I wanted to focus on and kept in communication about how pressure levels felt. I told her I liked medium-hard pressure and she beat the absolute shit out of me in the best way possible. She could've walked on my back and legs forever, and it felt incredible when she cracked my spine with her feet. The hot stones, foot massage, and neck massage were all highlights, as well. I love massage. I tried different type of massages. Thai massage was one of them. My friend recommended me to try this place in Quincy. I read a lot of reviews (bad and good, of course). I decided to take my mom there on Mother's Day since she had lower back pain and knees. After giving birth, I also had lower back pain (minor pain) and knees as well but I requested whole body. My mom requested to focus on massaging on lower back pain and knees ONLY. I had Pam and 9 were very good. They really took their time to listen to you and your body. My mom also loved it too. She said she would come here every month to massage since it helped her and she slept very well and even when she woke up, she didn't feel so much pain like before. I also booked Pam and 9 for me and my husband on Father's Day. I will write a new review based on what my husband thinks about it. Please note that I don't get paid to write a review. This place is an excellent find! I had a rough week at work (desk job) and was in need of a massage. I had been meaning to get a Thai massage for the longest time... The place is in Quincy Center, on Hancock Street. I think there is garage and lot parking but I ended up parking on the street, which is tight. The place is very clean and feels comfortable. When I got to the room, I didn't expect to see a table. I have only gotten traditional Thai massages in the past, and they are done on a mat. The massage itself was excellent. I want to say I got Mira (but it could have been Nina). The massage involved deep tissue, hot stones, and eucalyptus massage oil, and then a hot towel rub down. There was stretching and kneading as I would expect in a traditional Thai massage. After the massage, I was given a water bottle, which was nice (a lot of places give you a tiny cup of water, like the size you get at the dentist to rinse after the cleaning). The price is very reasonable for an hour ($65)... I will definitely be back! read more
