I have only been here once however this first experience for a mani/pedi was excellent. I am someone who appreciates well-tended nails and I go for a manicure every two weeks and a pedicure once a month. What's most important to me is excellent cleanliness, medical-grade hygiene and perfect technique followed by having a variety of nail polish colors from which to choose. I also appreciate when the technician can do a good basic manicure without polish and just expert buffing...I will have to see how this is done on a future visit. Yesterday I decided to try this salon that I've driven by a number of times. I was not disappointed. Trinity did my mani/pedi and she was terrific. She was careful, thorough, neat and meticulous. I knew I wanted white nail polish for both mani and pedi and she helped me with my selection. I chose OPI Alpine White which sets off my (unintended) tan very nicely. The shop is very orderly, clean and nicely set up. Everything looks well-taken care of. It's got a mellow vibe and there was quiet, pleasant music is playing in the background. They have a nice selection of updated magazines. It seems to be a relaxing place. There are a few choices of pedicures you can get. The basic pedicure for $30 was enough for me and included leg rub and hot towels wrapped around my legs which was soothing. My manicure included the base coat, 3 coats of color and the top coat. My last salon only gave two coats of color and sometimes that really was not enough. I got a great hand and arm massage and at the end, I even got a neck and shoulder massage! Total cost for mani/pedi combo before tip was $60. Only 3 dollars more than the last salon I went to and for a far better job and better atmosphere. I will definitely be back to Angel Nails! Love this place! Super clean, peaceful setting. Top notch service. They always put in the extra time and are very friendly. The gel mani lasts 2 weeks for me which is great. They are so good about helping me select fun polish colors and usually I like to do a design. Would be a great setting for a girls mani/pedi day. I was so happy, was going to write an amazing review & then ... I was seeing Michael & was very happy with my nails & pricing. Last time I went in with a gift card for same service I always get, I was told I needed to pay 15$ extra, ontop of tip. I was told I'd get money off next time (it made no sense honestly) , if prices go up they tell you before you come in or tell you that's what they'll have to change next time. I call to make an appointment and he's gone to Florida. There is now no technicians for pink and white, my nails looks way better when done old school pink and white. The dip powder doesn't fall on my nails correctly, not too mention just doesn't look the same. Very disappointed for this to happen for the 2nd/3rd time with Nail technicians. Oh & ya I got changed extra by Michael for no reason, 55$ ? But when I call to make an Appt they read the 45$ I'd see on the window infront or me always. I came here with 2 friends to get manis/pedis before my upcoming wedding. I called a few days before and made appointments. When I asked if they had a certain color ("funny bunny" by OPI)- they said they didn't have it, but would make sure they got it before I came in! Sure enough, they had the color I wanted when I came in 3 days later! It was extremely clean, and not too crowded which was nice. The staff was so patient, respectful, and did a beautiful job. They spent a lot of time on the massage aspect, and even gave a shoulder/neck massage after the manicure! We all left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Way better than any Boston spa!! Friendly, professional, super attentive owners and staff. Very clean spa. There is even a massage chair for neck and back massage, but you may not need it unless you want a longer one because they pull out all the stops, including a neck massage right in your chair after getting a manicure. The pedicures are also great. The service is pretty special. Mary is my go to, but everyone here is great. I'm another one who hasn't done a yelp review before, but this place deserves the accolades. read more

One of the worst services I've experienced not only at a nail salon but anywhere I've been. The people were very rude, inefficient and didn't do a good job. I had a 4:00 o'clock appointment which didn't end up starting until 4:45. The lady doing my toe nails was very rude and didn't listen to anything I said. When she first put the polish on I realized it was just shy from being completely translucent. I asked her if I could switch my color to just a basic white and she originally said no but after some conversing with anothed employee she stormed out and got a white polish. I then got my finger nails done. They told me I shouldn't use the color I was planning on using (?????). I told them I had picked it because I needed to match the gold in the dress I was planning on wearing for one prom while also having something that would look ok for my other dress for the other prom , which was red. They told me they would find a color for me and ended up painting my nails pink. In the process, three of my fingers were cut and bleeding. Half way through, the lady who was painting my nails left and someone else took over, who was already painting someone elses nails. They had to keep skipping between the two of us and ultimately did a sloppy job. Will definitely not be returning. read more

I am from the North Shore and I bring my mother here every other week for gel or pedicure while I am visiting. I started getting my nails done while I was there. Love this place! It is the cleanest nail salon I have ever been in. Everyone is friendly, kind and professional. I got a new nail procedure done called SNS. It wears like a gel and comes off like a gel but is much harder so you don't get the bending and cracking. It is a little bit more $$ but I think in the long run it's worth it. I have had it in for almost a week and no complaints. If you live in the area give this nail salon a try I don't think you will be disappointed. My only complaint is that they do take a little bit longer to do your nails but it is only because they take their time and they want it to be perfect. They also give you a back massage when your nails are done so they go the extra mile! read more

What a beautiful and professional salon! I have tried two other nail salons in Hingham and have never been so impressed with a nail salon experience! My French gel manicure and basic pedicure were done to perfection and my gel lasted three weeks (with no peeling). This was a first for me! Also, the owners are very attentive and have done a beautiful and modern job with the salon! Spread the word and try out this new salon- you won't be disappointed!
