Tatiana was the phlebotomist that helped me and she was so kind and efficient. She was respectful of my needs of getting my blood drawn from my hand and with a butterfly needle and she honored my wishes graciously and without hesitation, which hasn't always been my experience. My PCP ordered some labs and recommended that I go here as a self-pay patient due to their cheaper rates. It was the first time I had heard of them, and drove to the facility after my appointment for a walk-in visit. It's a clean facility that wasn't as busy as some of the other labs in the area that can have very long wait times. The front desk receptionist was very nice, and gave me the paperwork to fill out. I showed her my doctor's order and she went over the pricing with me. Because my Dr. ordered a CBC, CMP, TSH, and Lipid panel, I paid for the annual package that had all of those (with Hemoglobin A1C thrown in) for $129. The annual checkup panel is cheaper than paying for each test separately, and definitely beats the prices of other competing labs in the area. Even as a walk-in, I didn't have to wait long and before I knew it, it was my turn. What really blew me away is that this was one of the smoothest blood draws I have EVER had. I don't know how she did it, but the girl who drew my blood was so swift and skilled that I hardly felt the needle. I had my head turned and was busy chatting with another patient who was leaving, and I found myself laughing and enjoying the conversation when normally I'm quiet and tense during the blood draw. I was bandaged up and on my way out the door in no time, still in conversation with the other patient as though I never had the needle stick. Online Appointment: Their website makes it extremely easy to make appointments, and they always seem to have a wide range of open availability on various days and times--you can even schedule an appointment online for that very same day! Visiting Purpose: My purpose for using this service was simply for a health checkup; I have no insurance so getting my bloodwork done is not something I do frequently. Service: Their pricing is fare so I figured I would give them a try. First of all, I hate needles and was very nervous about the phlebotomy procedure. Walking into the office and conversing with the technician made me feel more at ease due to her positive and helpful attitude. The fact that there was no one else in the office also allowed for normal conversation and that allowed me to get more comfortable with having her draw my blood. I really appreciated having the one-on-one time with her and not feeling pressured or rushed at any point of my visit. The technician informed me that my results would be available and sent directly to me via email within 2-3 business days and this was very accurate! My appointment was on a Friday and I had my results the following Monday evening! Environment: it smelled clean and fresh, not like your typical doctors office. I came here last minute today when I got the dreaded "there's a hold on your account" email from school. I needed to send in my immunization forms that requires lab results. Well my physician in PA notified me that I would need to find a lab to do a blood titer so after a quick search I found this location. My physician faxed over the prescription for blood work and I headed over. Sherry (maybe Cheryl?) took care or me. They don't accept insurance here but they have a student price for titers, $140 for varicella, MMR, and hepatitis B. It took about twenty minutes total for the whole process. This was honestly the best stick I ever received. I didn't even feel it, not a single pinch. Just like that it was over and I was on my way. Definitely come here if you need any quick testing. Chelsea was friendly and did a great job at easing my nervousness (fear of needles) and it was over before I knew it. I am not sure where all the 5 stars reviews are coming from, but my experience was not that great at all. I made an appointment to have a urine test done, which isn't that hard. Chelse was trying someone and sound as if she was a drill sergeant. So she orders me to use the restroom and wash my hands out here. There's nothing worst than using the bathroom and using the last crumbs of the toilet paper. I place my urine where Chelse orders me to put it. So I am waiting for her to place my name on the sample or the test vial. She is in the front doing something, and she tells me that's it. I said, "well, aren' t you going to put my name on the sample." The other person got up to place my name on the sample. This was a poor service. I have been a nurse for over 30 years, and taking your eyes off a patient sample before placing a label on it is a BIG NO NO. I wonder what else is left around or get mixed up before a name is placed. She then tells me that the results will be back in 24 or 48 hours. Everyone knows that it doesn't take that long for a urine result to come back. So I called because on told me the name of the company or what to look for concerning the email. Of course, Chelse answers the phone again and explains that it will come from there company name. And she still gives me a time frame of 24 to 48 hours. We are sending people to the moon faster than a urine result. This was my first time using them, and it will be my last. I will not recommend this company. spoke with Sharie, who is the office manager/owner, and she wants to say to the customer about being nice, well If someone is asking to speak to a manager, they are not calling to talk about the weather. It is so sad that businesses think that it is all about money. I can care less about the money. People want excellent customer service. Trust me; if I could get the same service from AMAZON, I would go because of the superb customer service. As a nurse, she should know not to leave a patient's sample unattended without a patient's label. It is so sad how everyone wants to blame the downfalls on COVID-19. When I stated that I wanted to get my results before I leave. All she had to do is to say I can give a courtesy call to the label. How hard would that have been?
