This particular location of Quest Diagnostics is located on Alafaya Trail just north of East Colonial Drive (State Road 50). It was a convenient location to get blood work done after a visit to my physician. I did a walk-in instead of scheduling an appointment and I was in and out in pretty much no time. The staff here were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend a visit here if you need blood work done. While none of us look forward to getting blood work done, the incredible staff here made it much more positive. read more

We went early in the morning and arrived around 5:30am. My appointment time was at 5:40am and it was for blood work and urine analysis for my primary care doctor. They were a few minutes late opening, but they called me to a room pretty much immediately.. My phlebotomist, Cadine, was so nice and she was able to find my vien easily and effortlessly, and I've been told I have difficult veins.. They seemed very professional all around. read more

The service that I experienced today was great - thank you Codine for your assistance!

Fraud with insurance companies and customer - Avoid Quest I went to get a blood test in Orlando, FL Everything was fine until the billing. I have two insurances. Cigna and Florida Blue (BC/BS) are my insurance Companies. My jobs (2 jobs) provided both of them. I am with Cigna for 28 years. I provided the information to Quest. The billed to both of them on two different amounts with the different of few dollars on the same day of service. Cigna determined I covered everything and paid them. Florida Blue determined I covered everything with $14.84 copay and pay them. I called them many time, and I was told I do not own them anything. However, I received many bills from Quest about the payment. Customer service representatives were terrible. Some of them decided I did not have to pay anything. Some of them decided I have to pay $14.84. They got paid twice from the two insurance companies and they wanted to pay again. I think they try to attempt fraud. Do not use them! read more

I had an 8:40 am appointment. I got called around 9:12 or so. Then attempts were made to draw blood. Finally got some from my hand, but still with some difficulty. I've always wondered why places like this don't have the ultrasound vein finder thingy that they have in hospitals for people like me who have difficult or small veins to find. Just a thought... Otherwise the visit was reasonable although I've found the location on University to be quicker read more

I had an appointment at 12:10pm and I was out of there by 12:16pm. It was quick and seamless. I'm scared of needles and Areeb did my blood draw and I barely felt the needle go in or out. You can tell she's been in the game for a while. And she's amazing at her job. She's very sweet and soft spoken as well. read more

Me and my husband both came for bloodwork here and other general test. I went first, booked my appointment online, check in on the link they sent to my phone and once inside I waited for about 5mins. Everything was done professionally, in and out in about 30mins (had to do many test that required me waiting for intervals.) The staff was friendly and professional. One week later we returned with my husband, bloodwork reasons. Again booked appointment online and checking in was fast and easy through the phone. My husband past out while getting his blood drawn, he was yellow not responsive and it was handled very professionally by the staff, I wish I would have asked for their names, but all the ladies in the clinic helped and reassured us! Lovely staff and thank you for everything! read more

Waited 3 hours with no help. Only computer for checking in and not very helpful. Making a appointment is only way to get in at a decent time

So I have to get blood work done every 3 to 6 months. I have deep set veins and I've been traumatized by needles over the years. I pass 2 quest diagnostics for my early morning appointments to get to this one. This morning, the phlebotomist, Sisco, was so fast and efficient I didn't even feel the need the needle go in. I was in and out so fast. If you want fast, efficient, friendly this is the quest location to come to. read more

I has good luck in this location and the staff is courteous and nice. First tip: ALWAYS make an appointment online for any labwork. This location takes walk-ins but it's always better to make an appointment. Upon arrival, make sure to check in at the kiosks (there are 2, one at eAch side of the reception desk) I was called in a few minutes after on time arrival for my 9:15am appointment. Staff was very nice. They needed some codes from my doctor for a few of my tests so there was a delay in drawing blood but as soon as they squared it away with my Doctor's office we were in business. The person that tended to me told me that today was the busiest they've been in weeks (typical of year end) but they did their best to keep it going. There's parking right outside the office and you can choose to wait in your car or in the waiting area. read more

I fasted all day, signed in using the kiosk, sat in a totally empty waiting room for fifteen minutes, and was told that they are not taking any walk-ins. Then while writing this review the nurse basically told me go go. This is awful. read more

If you make an appointment you'll never have an issue here. Always great customer service and I go in and out for blood work! Will keep coming to this location ! read more

If I could you less than a one star I would. I was treated so horrible there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that location. As a phlebotomist myself, I know that covering up your name tag and refusing to give your name is the poorest form of doing your job. She was a manager.... goes to show who doesn't hire well. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

Kiara was a rock star! Very kind and wonderful customer service- she did not hurt one bit!!

The phlebotomists here are amazing..not sure about management/manager/supervisor ..was shocked to see the arrogance..the way staff was addressed...staff overworked and some simply need requested time off to be granted...hire more folks for Pete's sake. You have a good group there..Please don't risk losing them..Enough said..Supervisor needs to go..Ridiculous. This is for Management...not staff..sharing this in the hopes..it will be flagged for Quest Corporate..Situation witnessed could have put the phlebotomist life in danger. read more

This review is not for the staff who were kind an courteous, but to have completely lost my reservation after searching all local locations for an appointment for bloodwork. I'm very methodical when doing things online. I registered on the quest website, then put the appointment into outlook. 10:45 was late especially while fasting. As I said, the staff was great in letting me know as I would have been sitting there longer. I have bad luck with this location. The 610 Alafaya Location a mile or two away is way better. read more

Had an appt for 9:40am for specific blood work, got there at 9:30am, wasn't called back until 10:30am and was told I had to come back the next day because they only do the blood work from 7am-10am. Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend scheduling with this location read more

I would like to acknowledge Connor and Faith for their professionalism and courtesy at my Friday appointment. I am so glad that I switched to this location. The staff is ALWAYS pleasant, helpful, and professional. The rooms are clean; the seating is adequate; and the lighting is bright. I strongly recommend this Quest location and the great staff who work there. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would! And I never fill these things out Bc i feel bad!! But After reading horrible reviews AFTER I went, I realized that nothing gets fixed with bad reviews anyway, so why bother! The staff at the desk when u check in should represent the company!! BAD HIRING ON WHOEVER DID THAT! they're rude and loud! No one on the waiting room should have to hear personal information, either about the patients or the staff and what they're having for lunch!!! UNPROFESSIONAL ON EVERY ASPECT!!!. It was just all around a shitty environment for people that have that to have medical issues pertained to! read more

I have always used Quest for all mine and my families lab needs. This location has served us well. With Quest you can make an appointment, lots of available and with priority or you can walk in (longer wait). I have always been treated well. This location is easily accessible on Alafaya Trail. It is well lit and clean. The staff can be a little abrupt but that may be due to the fact that this place is always packed and they are busy. On this visit, it was empty. One other person sitting in the waiting room and we both had appointments. I was called within five minutes of arrival to the registration desk, where my insurance card, driver license and lab order was checked. I love that lab order was sent directly to Quest by my doctor. Quickly there after I was called by the Phlebotomist, she had me review the paper work to ensure accuracy. Delicately drew blood, secured a label and asked me to review it again for accuracy and I was done. Twenty minutes in and out. read more

We did not make appointments. Let's see how long it gonna take... We walked in at 7:00. At 7:06, we were at the counter to jot our names down. At 7:20, the lady called us for paperwork and collected our driver's licences. At 7:45, they called us in for blood drawing. I noticed a huge improvement-- the nurse who drew the blood came out and called us in. This is a great time saving Lean Six Sigma like improvement. Previously, the office manager called you in to wait outside of the actual lab. That waiting chair is no longer there. When you are called, you go sit on the chair inside the lab. Love it! At 7:57, our routine lab is done. Not bad for a no appointment visit. Love the improvement. That means Quest cares. read more

After dropping my daughter off at school, I barely got to Quest in time for my 6:45 AM appointment. I was confused by the lack of cars; and, one person that had left their car running, lights on, in a handicapped space, while popping into the building. I was also puzzled when I went to sign in at the kiosk, as I was asked if I had an appointment (I always do.) Turns out this gentleman did not have an appointment but claimed he did; and, kept running out to his car and back to the counter. It was all very distracting until I learned that this location is appointment only all day every day now. This is because the office complex is fully rented and parking is at a premium... not before 7:00 AM; but, during the day. They ended up giving him the URL to book an apponitment online; and, he got in just a few minutes after me. A phlebotomist came to get me, directed me to the exam room and updated my insurance without batting an eyelash. The blood draw was very quick, painless, and this location is very convenient for me, especially with the flow of traffic in the early morning. The new system is very well-organized. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, with most of that time spent on the insurance. I checked my results online, which made for a great visit with my doctor. read more

I was late for my appointment but it turned out not to be a problem because I was still in and out of the facility in ten minutes. The woman at the counter who took my insurance information was efficient and friendly and the tech who took my blood was super understanding that I am not a big fan of needles. She made it easy and I was able to walk out without having nearly passed out. The location is clean, easy to find, and offers plenty of parking. read more

They are not very friendly at this location. Every time I come to this location to get my blood work done it's never a good experience. Especially this lady called Nancy, she was not only not helpful, she was also rude. These people need to realize that treating people kindly and showing some empathy would go a long way. read more

They were rushing and botched my blood draw. They were running behind as several other patients and I had appointments at 11:30 and nobody got in on time. I would rather have to wait than have you rush my blood draw. This photo was taken the day after the blood draw. It's been a week and it's still bruised. I've never had this happen with a blood draw before. It's still very tender. I will never go back to this location. read more

Poorly run company. Employees are just plain MEAN and DISRESPECTFUL to their patients. I waited in the waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes before I was seen and overheard on several occasions the receptionist degrading older patients when they needed help finding their confirmation numbers before they were seen. After I had been waiting for 40 minutes I politely asked how much longer until I would be seen and the same woman gave me a short and sour answer, "We have your paperwork. Just sit down." So I asked, "Yes, but do you have a general time frame?" And she replied, "I said we have your paperwork already. Take a seat." This company will never get better until they start hiring more competent employees who respect their patients and create a more efficient way of dealing with appointments. If I could always go to Quest Diagnostics instead of LabCorp, I would. If you make an appointment (highly recommended) you will definitely be in and out within 15 minutes! This place gets a lot of traffic; most Quest Diagnostics do, but boy, oh boy... This one takes the prize! So if you go as a "walk-in" (which are welcomed) prepare to wait for quite some time. Specially if you go during mornings, which is their busiest time since a lot of people go prior to work and while fasting. However, staff members are friendly and respectful. Also, the facility is extremely clean (as should any laboratory clinic be). Finally, only "con", I would say is that you can't schedule an appointment on site, or even by calling the facility. Has to be online... this is not a problem for me, but I have to think of the people who aren't necessarily savvy when it comes to technology or don't have easy access to the internet. Everything else is great though! read more

Overall - Awesome. Super impressed with this place, especially compared to other Labs I have been to! Now, I always go here for any labs or bloodwork that get ordered by any of my doctors. Mainly routine check-ups. PUNCTUAL! - I always am called within a few minutes of arriving after my appointment time...sometimes, almost immediately. They handle paperwork and payment quickly and then send me on to the phlebotomist who usually also handles things quickly. But I don't feel like they are rushing and taking shortcuts. It is always clean. I always schedule my appointments online and it is SO easy and painless. Last time I went, my appointment was at 1:00p.m. and I was out of there by 1:15p.m.! And my doctor's appointment was the next morning at 8:30am - the results were already in! I wish more businesses/doctors' offices were as well-run as this place. Also, did you know they have a mobile app (Gazelle) that allows you to view your records/results?! Why can't we access all of our medical records that easily? read more

So far my experience has been horrible! and I've only made an appointment to go take a drug test... There automated system is complete garbage, to make it worse there is no way to speak with a human. I can only hope that my experience is better when i go in to get drug tested read more

Let's face it - everyone dreads having to go get lab work done for their doctor. But if you have to go to this location of Quest, you may be surprised at just how convenient and easy it turns out being! The first thing I liked is the ability to schedule your appointment on their website. They have great hours, and are even open until 6pm one some days. They also include Saturday hours if you can't make it out during the week. Once you schedule your appointment online, you are set! I went in on a midweek afternoon and I was out of there in 15 minutes tops. They stick to their appointment times and get you in and out as quickly as possible. I wasn't crazy about the office staff - one of the ladies that takes your insurance information is downright rude! She was actually on the phone the whole time I was getting helped and couldn't even put the damn thing down to get my information. On the other hand, the guy that did my bloodwork was really pleasant and friendly (although at some point I did feel like he was hitting on me...). All in all, they make it a fairly painless process. read more

Horrible experience at this location! Made an appointment, checked in online 15 minutes prior to my appointment time, wasn't spoken to by ANYONE for over an hour after my appointment time. It should not take 2 hours for someone to have blood drawn with an appointment. Will not be back. read more

Shawn was amazing her service was quick , simple and most importantly painless . I would definitely come back here again !

I have been going to Quest on a monthly basis for some time. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. If ypu do a walk in the wait can vary from about 30 minutes or longer. You can make an appointment ahead of time by calling or using the website and cut down on your wait by a lot. Henry Alba the manager of the facility is really nice. Terrible experience, had an appointment and still had to wait a long time. What is the point of having an appointment. Dissatisfied customer

RUDE!! These employees have horrible bedside manner and are very mean and disrespectful. They made me wait longer than people who got here after I did and then proceeded to shame me for being here for an appointment that will keep them here past their closing time. The nurse who saw me was extremely rude and gave me a hard time about my allergies. She was beyond ghetto! Horrible experience. I will never use Quest Diagnostics again! read more
