I ended up at this location because the policy at my first choice had changed unexpectedly - after signing in they told us that they no longer took walk-ins and we could come to this location. Lucky for me, there was practically no wait. I was called back almost immediately. (I waited longer at the other location just for them to tell me that they couldn't see me). They have a new policy where the person that checks you in is the person that takes care of you and provides your services throughout your visit. This worked well since the gentleman that checked me and was in charge of doing my blood work was very nice. He was patient, polite and personable and he explained everything. The entire process was fairly quick and painless. I'm sure the visit was about 45 minutes but it felt like 15 minutes. If I should happen to need blood work again, I'll most likely start here even if I'm making an appointment. read more

Super friendly staff. Really clean environment. Fast and painless process. I've been here twice for my annual routine blood work. I hate needles and I'm also deadly afraid of it. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. They made it almost painless for me :) what's even better is that you can sign up for an online patient account after the service and you could view a copy of your results online. If you make an appointment online, there's no wait time. But if you can't find a time for the appointments you can still walk in. The staff told me the best time to walk in is when they open between 6:30am-8am. Note: 3rd Wednesday of every month the site closes early at 2:00pm. There's a lot of sitting area (hard chairs) and the place has AC obviously. It's quite cold ... bring a jacket. Make sure to bring your referral paperwork. Most of the time your doctor doesn't forward it or fax it correctly. Since there are so many locations it's always best to bring your paperwork to avoid any delays. Specially after fasting for so long you wouldn't wanna miss your appointment. Also depending on what blood work you're getting, you may wanna call them to check if you need to fast 8-12 hours ahead of time. But always drink water so you're not dehydrated and it makes it easier for the staff to find your veins ... read more

The employees here are so kind. I was a walk-in and they were able to finish me up within 10 minutes of getting there. The woman who took my blood was so gentle and quick, I didn't feel a thing. Made a 2nd appointment and was turned away because I had a 100 temp (I came from a 100 degree car into their facility) I told the lady to retake my temperature again and she refused .. again had to leave . Would give zero stars if I could. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever been to in my entire life the workers here all need to be FIRED!! I have a heart disease and basically grew up doing blood tests and never in my entire life have I been somewhere so unprofessional. Do not go here!! No one spoke english and we're all absolutely rude. They argued with me about not being able to find my script when they were looking under B instead of R. Like what?!?!!?! 1 star, only because 0 stars is not an option. I've been using Quest for close to 16 years, and the University Blvd, Winter park, FL location for approximately 4 years. This location has gone to hell. I don't know if it's personnel, or corporate policy, but my insurance has zero copay and I've never been asked for a credit card. Until my recent visit. The woman said "It's in case the insurance Company doesn't pay us." Really? Aetna? I call b.s. But she just stood there making it obvious she would not draw my blood until I handed her a credit card. Then I get home to find out she authorized my card via some payment system (Easy Pay I think it was called) again "in case your Insurance refuses to pay, or takes too long." Since it is impossible to reach anyone at this location by phone anymore, I called Quest's corporate Customer Service and the person I spoke to said that the request for a form of payment is supposed to be a request, nothing else. I then asked them to remove my card from their payment system, she said that would have to be done at the location. So I tried to call them (University) again, still no answer. I literally drove back to the University location, walked back to the woman who did all this, and she refused to do anything about it. When I explained to her that I spoke to their corporate C.S., etc, she just stopped even looking at me. Total refusal to even hear me. This is still unresolved. Quest always sends a survey after appointment, which I detailed all of this, they never contacted me or apologized, or even attempted a crappy excuse. Crickets. Icing on the cake: it's more than 2 weeks, no test results online and the MyQuest website is unreachable. After 16 years, I am washing my hands of this garbage level customer service. Time for LabCorp. I don't know a thing about them, but their service can't be any worse than Quest. read more

I arrived with bloodwork already already drawn, prepared, and labeled. I was instructed to sign in. Sign in says estimated 17 minute wait. Why am I waiting that long to drop off, having to sit inside with people coming to have labs done? The people who work there have a very uncaring, unbothered, attitude. No sense of urgency in that place. Waiting room piling up, technicians just walking around in the back...I ended up having to leave without dropping off my specimen because I had some where else to be. read more

The gentleman that checked me in was very polite, friendly, and quick to help me. Many kudos to him! However, the lady who took my blood was one of the most unfriendly, impersonal human beings I have come across in a long time. She did not say hello, smile, nor talk to me unless I asked a question, to which she replied with one word answers. Blew out my vein while taking the sample so I was sore with a real nasty bruise for days. On top of that, after 7 working days passed since the samples were taken, I haven't heard a single word about any of the results. Never had these problems at other locations. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. These people are incompetent and totally unhelpful. I ordered a test from their website and when I got there they said it wasn't in the system and that I needed to print the lab orders. They didn't even offer to help me find them on my portal they were just like "sorry try going to print at ups a few stores down" ups wasn't even open. So I went home and printed the only thing available and tried again a couple days later (today) and they tell me I've printed the wrong thing. I asked if they could show me what lab orders look like because I am not a medical professional and I've never had lab work done that required me to bring my own paperwork. It would've taken less than five minutes but do you think they did that? NO she just says I have to call some customer service number (also not open) and they'll tell me what to do because she doesn't know how to work their website and just rushed me out.
