I have good veins, so the phlebotomists never have issues finding my veins. I just hate the way the needle shifts when they switch tubes. Somehow, Alex was able to switch tubes without me feeling a thing! I was very impressed with his technical skill, and he was polite and personable as well. Horrible horrible horrible experience I always come in as a walk in and get there the earliest possible and always make it either the 1st or 2nd one. This time I was the first one getting there at 5:15am again as a walk in and was the second one on finishing the check in in the computer on front. Something happened in there system that put me at the very last at 9:10am. They were aware of the issue and it was not until almost 8 when they took me in. Seems it really depends on the day you go and what type of mood the employees are in. I have been to this location a few times and some Tips to make this as painless as possible. Get their APP. Make an appointment ONLINE before you go. Choose the earliest time available. Be on time or even 5 or so minutes early. When you arrive be aware nobody will greet you - Use the tablet to check in. You should be called fairly close to your appointment time and be out the door. Results are available through their app. If those things are not possible or you are unable then I would suggest you look for another option for your testing. read more

This location is poorly staffed. They have reoccurring scheduling issues. Say they don't have space for walk-ins due to staff shortages but have a lobby with only 4 patients. They don't keep the patients up to date on what's happening and have them sit and wait only to be told that they can't be seen. Serious attitude problem here with staff. read more

I'm sure they deal with a lot because no one ever wants to go through these procedures but kudos to her for talking to me, explaining everything and being thorough. Under advisement from various Yelpers and Reviewers I made an online appointment. Easy. The only problem I had was the time scheduled. It didn't work for my schedule so I made appointment two days before but I ended up having to Walk-in due to the time issues. It was super easy! I went early in the morning, checked in with my QR code and was in the queue. Literally 20 minutes later I was in and out! My station, station 4 was clean and organized and my tech, Jeanette was organized and ready. Bathroom was clean...no paper towels but clean. Wish I could give zero stars. Had an 11am appointment, checked in at 10:45am, it asks if you want to wait in waiting room or in your car and get a text. We opted for a text. Finally we got sick of waiting at 12:30 having not been called back, then had to flag someone down through the door window because they don't have a receptionist. The girl was incredibly rude and told us "if we call you and you aren't here then we move on". I told her we have been here and you never called, she continues to be rude and then adds us to bottom of the list. Then they give us a hard time about the order from the doctor saying they don't want to accept it after an over two hour wait. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

This review is not for this location. I'm reviewing the Quest Diagnostic phone system. I tried calling in to get some basic info about an order for lab work. I had to sit and listen to so many options, none of which applied to me. There was no option to talk to a person. If you hit 0, the recording starts over. I eventually called the sales line, and the sales person transferred me to another automated system, that transferred me again....listening to more robots that don't help. The system is designed so you can't speak with anyone....just awful. read more

I checked in on my phone when I got there, only had to wait for a couple of minutes, and was out the door 8 minutes after my appointment time. Monica was the phlebotomist, the blood draw didn't hurt at all even though I have difficult veins, and she was very nice to talk to. Highly recommend. But again - make an appointment!!! read more

The location of this is very close to my home, so it is convenient to me. It is fairly new, so it is not as busy as some of their other locations. The staff here was very friendly, courteous and kind. They showed excellent compassion while I was there. This location will be my new lab when I need this type of work done. This location is worthy of five stars but I am only giving it four. The reason is ...I had three tests done. Several weeks later I received three bills from Quest, which I was expecting. When I opened them, I was being charged full price for the tests. Upon further examination of my bill I noticed that the information for my insurance carrier was wrong, three different times. A little sloppy on their end..ya think. I contacted Quest, gave them the correct information, and am awaiting corrected invoices. read more

I am on my 14 day from the time quest received my biopsy. The preliminary results is that I have atypical spindle tumor. But, I have been waiting 9 days for the final results. So Might treatment has been delayed until I get the final. The locals tried, but they can only give you a phone number. Good luck with trying to talk to someone much less someone that won't put you on hold for a hour then when you give up and try to leave a message you get a voicemail is full and call back later. I don't understand how this business model and poor service can survive. They are worst than trying to find out when your cable tv is going to be fixed after a storm due to lives are at risk. read more

Just a short review here. I made an appointment online and was in and out of Quest within 30 minutes. I also checked in online a few days before, so when I got there I just put in the confirmation number on the check in screen and was checked in within 15 seconds! The place was full of people who would have to wait maybe hours for their turn. My advice: make and appointment and check in online before you go. Four stars because when I went into the room to get my blood taken, the tech misread my insurance name (it was close to the real name). I am fuming at the lack of professionalism at this location!The waiting room has no area to accommodate a person in a wheel chair, they have pots for decorative sticks and foot stools but rows of chairs linked together do not allow for a wheel chair to pass if people are sitting in the chairs. The policy of no one at checkin makes any questions to staff an inconvenience as they are calling patients to the back for service. The phone in for appointments is also a joke as it keeps cutting off before I can spell out my full name, let's save some more $ and put some more people out of work! There is never the same lab techs on duty, they probably leave because of the verbal abuse from patients. Get your act together, you are paid good money to provide this service. Please review the ADA rules with your staff so that others in the future will have a better experience then this was! read more

Stopped in here to completed pre employment Drug test. Starts off ok~~ come to find out I needed to drink a half gal of water ... to give them what they needed! Fast forward! I was told as I was in my way to get one more cup of water that I could ask anyone of the staff to finish my process due to the original lab person being in break! Finished the water and asked the next young lady who came out! This is where ... if this experience ended at this point I would have given. 1/2 star... I explain to her I am ready complete my visit and I was told "any" staff member could do it, being the person I originally had was on break! This person says "your Going To hAVe tO wAiT! I've been here a few times and i've always had a positive experience. The staff is very professional and welcoming. I usually tell them i'm afraid of needles when I get bloodwork done and they always make me feel comfortable. The wait times aren't that long if you make an appointment in the morning. They usually have you in and out in under 10 minutes. read more

I have blood work done often and this is by far the worst facility to have come to. Not only did I make an appointment I arrived as soon as the office opened at 6:30 AM I waited for two hours. Waiting that long while pregnant and fasting is not a good combo, go anywhere else if you have to get blood drawn. The QD at Lake Underhill Orlando, FL has the worst service that I have ever experienced. The waiting time is ridiculous. The personnel is dismissive to patients (by what I saw when responding to clients who approached them). At one point, one of the phlebotomists opened the door and call for a client and made a disgust or upset sound like "Ugh". The manager, Dishonest Byrd, is unprofessional. That gave me a red flag as I would NOT want someone indisposed or annoyed to draw blood from me. These people need training on customer service. Got my blood drawn here and took my glucose test. The Phlebotomist definitely was experienced and I went thru my thirty second procedure of getting my precious blood sucked through tubes painlessly. Having my eyes closed definitely helped. I am now due again for my glucose check up and blood draws. This location is far from my home but I trust them. Worst Quest office I have ever been to. I had an appointment, I arrive , try to sign in as an appointment and the sign in tablet says it can't find my code nor the scan code. I check in it puts me as a walk-in. It indicates 3 minutes , those are e the longest 3 minutes ever. Then it goes to 1 minute and again it went over the minute. To top it off that call 2 patients that arrived after me. I inform the technician that I was first and I a rude tone asks me for my last name and that she would find out. I get called by another technician and she couldn't be slower. I brought to her attention what happened and all she answered was "I don't know" , when Informed her I would be contacting Quest directly and also write a review , then she gave me some excuses, too late , first impressions are what is worth. I spent 55 minutes in the place. Horrible customer service and staff should be re-trained on how to treat patients. My daughter was sitting outside and witnessed when one technician told another one "that lady is claiming she had an appointment" sarcastically, the other technician rolled her eyes. I waited for an hour before my name was called. As I walked to the door, I was told they don't do the test I needed to get done at this location. The reasoning I was given was that it was a new location. It would have been helpful if there was someone at the reception area when people signed in so I could have been told to go to another location before waiting for so long! Very poor experience. I went in for blood and urine drawing. I was told I could drop urine sample back that afternoon, only to then find they closed at 3:30 PM. This give new meaning to my understanding of afternoon. The next morning I stopped early on my way to work to drop of the sample, only to have to wait in line, then asked to present my insurance card which I did not have (even though they had taken a copy of it the prior day), then was requested to wait while they ran new paperwork for me to sign. Being completely frustrated, I left the sample with them without waiting for their new paperwork or signing it. Net result, the urine sample was not completed with the blood work for transmittal to my physician causing for an incomplete assessment. It is clear they little concern for the interests of their clients. I do not recommend them. read more
