This lab was crazy busy the first time I visited. Then I was informed quickly that they didn't do employee drug testing on the weekends. I looked online, but the next available appointment was past my required date to get it done. I aimed to walk in after work and it took about 1.5 hours from checking in to leaving. Last year I experienced poor customer service at Quest. I decided to give this Labcorp a try. So happy that I did. Scheduled my appointment online. Drove to this location which had ample parking. Checked in at the kiosk by scanning my D.L. I was pleasantly surprised to be called back at my appointment time. Ms. Santos drew my blood effortlessly. A week later I was given a bill for over $2,000 for services. Labcorp is a bunch of thieves that could care less for the wellbeings of any patient they see. Man this LabCorp is horrible with customer service. I come here for routine blood work around every 6 months and I just hate when that day comes. The wait is long which is expected, so I make an appointment so avoid that. While waiting I get to see how the staff interacts with the customer. They are rude, they always have an attitude like you are bothering them... It's not our fault that you don't like your job. Bad review for both labcorp and Ambetter sunshine health. I was told by both companies my insurance covered the total cost yet after the fact I end up with a bill. How is it they can charge you whatever they want after the fact. The blood test from labcorp I still do not know the results! The bill for an 8 panel test $831. Insurance did cover the large majority of the bill but why can they send me a bill when I was told insurance covered the fees. And why should anyone pay for a service they can't get. I should have been given the results. And yes the referring doctor never returns calls( Family Care Partens) I called both labcorp and ambetter they both say to call the other...just get the run around. To top it all from what I find on the internet you can have a blood test from labcorp for $83 Not sure what that includes my bill shows 8 panels the internet says a 15 panel test in FL on average is $432. Why the high fee? I always ask upfront the cost. Tried to get upfront cost for a colonoscopy but guess what you can't unless you are already signed up with that provider. My colonoscopy is scheduled for next Thursday and just found out today there is a"facility " fee of$496 in addition to the anesthesiologist and the doctors fee. By the way this would have been zero cost had I not taken the Colaguard test!!! Don't do Colaguard I learned by law colonoscopy is covered, UNLESS you take a colaguard test which isn't realizable.... When I make an appointment is sue to my busy schedule, I made an appointment for a Monday. Only thing available was 1:00pm or later, I opted for 1pm. Followed protocol and arrived 30 minutes early at my earliest check in of 12:30pm. It is now 1:30pm and I have no news nor any idea when I will be seen. Waited over 30 min past my appointment time for a urine drug screen. Literally drank a whole bottle of water before coming and every time I asked about when I would go they always gave vague answers and told me it was going to be my turn soon and that I shouldn't use the restroom. I felt like my bladder was going to explode! Thankfully I did not listen to them in the end and went to use the restroom anyway but it took them so long to get to me that I was ready to go again by the time my turn came up. Do not Go to Semoran location ! One para-pak was opened and missing a tube , was also missing a green top tube and all the containers given to me were wrong ! Labcorp opened an office in Poinciana Florida and I was thrilled to have one so close. I made an appointment a week in advance. Showed up to find at least 40 angry people in the wait area. Many had been there more than 2 hours! When they approached the woman at the front desk to ask how much longer she was quick to lambaste them saying loudly "well if you people would stop asking me how much longer and let me do my job.." Most people were elderly. Many had walkers. So waiting so long was certainly an issue. I understand there were 3 people working at the site. The front desk is extremely inept and incapable of actual customer service. The front desk woman running the show with long hair was extremely rude and frankly seemed to be having a bad day. She would rather care for her bag of chips than actually have to help someone. I can't believe how legally this place gets away from abuse to the elderly and mentally challenged. I witnessed the front desk not help people figure out the computer system and had to help them myself. I don't work for LabCorp or know their system, however the majority of people standing around and sitting have been here for hours not knowing what to do. I'm disgusted by the treatment of people in this location and I intend to ensure the world needs to know Lab Corp doesn't care about you and employers I encourage you to use another establishment. I needed some lab work done, my expectations weren't very high. If you've been to Quest or these types of facilities before, you know to expect the kind of service you're going to get. The lady the counter didn't even look at me when I said hi or was checking in or processing my papers. They called two people at a time to the back -- this lady and then me. I had to wait a little bit for someone to attend to me. Again, an unfriendly staff member. She drew my blood and took her time. During the process, they had called in the person in line and finished her blood work before mine is even done. The lady who drew my blood even said that my arm is going to bruise. I had to get a drug yet done for a new job and they told me to go to LabCorp. I'm used to Quest for lab things, this was my first time here. There's barely any parking. The shipping center has a bunch of small businesses and it's overcrowded. The front lady that works here is unpleasant; no "welcome", "hi", nothing.
