I have been here three times the past few months. I make an online appointment each time, but the time differs between when I am seen. Sometimes they call me right when my appointment time is, but most times it'll be a 10-20 minute wait on top of your appointment time. The place seems to be understaffed a bit, with the waiting room always full waiting with people to be seen. I will say every time I am seen, every worker has been very polite and good at their job. I understand that they are probably just as tired with the never ending people in the waiting room. I have gotten my blood drawn twice and I have had to provide a urine sample as well one time. I would come back here only because every time I am seen, the workers make the experience better. read more

It was time for my annual bloodwork, could find an appt online so decided I'd get up early and wait. My intentions were to be there 2-3 hours. Got to the lab 5 min before they opened, stood in line to get in, they open the doors at 6:30am, went over to the kiosk, put in my information, scanned insurance card and DL, checked in and sat down. Within 2-3 min i got called back by a very nice and gentle nurse named Nancy. I was in and out with the whole process including walking to and from my car 16 mins!!! Amazing ! read more

They delayed reporting my urgent blood tests. They are impossible to talk to on the phone. 2 weeks still no results. There is a Lab Corp location near every Quest use them instead! These people don't care and don't try! I will never use them again and I am telling my Doctor to use Lab Corp for all my testing! read more

So my mother went in to get blood drawn, I sent her the code to check in. She was having a hard time on how to scan the code. She calls me all worried and panicking. I told her ask for help at the desk. Next thing she tells me is that they didn't want to help her, that she's taking too long in checking in, "we don't work like that". My mother is 58 with ailments. The care quality is sad. There are some good nurses there that have always treated her well. But this particular nurse gave her a hard time. read more

I don't know how Brenda still works in this place. The customer service of this lady is horrible. I'm not sure how she's still hired here. As a first responder I do not act this way with patients. If a patient asked for something for their safety who are you to tell what's good for the patient when you have no clue what the patient has. If you want this location to have better reviews get rid of Brenda. I'm clearly not the only one mentioning her. Hope quest can make a decision and become a better establishment. A request will also be placed for her removal to the board of Orlando health and the BBB. read more

Worst quest diagnostics I have been to. Not only did I have to wait an hour even though I had an appointment. But the lady who took my blood was so rude and careless. I asked her to use a butterfly needle due to my thin veins, from experience I know this works best. She continued to ignore me and used a bigger one because she says a butterfly was going to take "too long". As a nurse myself, what is an extra minute or two going to take away from you as long as the job is properly done. She ended up popping my vein and a still continued to draw the missing tube. When she was done she literally said " you are going to get a big bruise, leave a bad review if you want, but if I used a butterfly we would still be drawing blood". To top off she didn't mark all the tests listed on my lab order, she missed two which now I have to make an appointment to go get again. TERRIBLE SERVICE, avoid coming here. Shout out to Brenda for maintaining composure while being undeservedly verbally abused in the patient lobby. Guy came in ready to fight someone, and took it out on Brenda by shouting a slew of terrible things at her while she was following CDC protocol. She explained calmly that everyone needs to follow protocol or else she wouldn't be unable to help him, to which he responded "I couldn't care less", and continued his abusive tirade. I commend Brenda for staying calm and following protocol. She did not deserve to be abused while working in the middle of a pandemic. She bounced back to serve me with a smile and was so personal and kind. It takes a strong person to be able to do that. read more

Horrible. Just horrible. First attempt they closed at one with posted hours till three thirty, door said training. Second visit I sat for an hour only to be told they would charge me because my paperwork said LabCorp so they weren't a covered facility. You check in on a tablet and no one bothers to look at why you're there until they call you back, which means if you have anything missing, paperwork that you didn't know want okay to them or any questions, you have to wait the full time before even being asked. They really need a front desk person or someone who answers calls to this location in order to avoid unnecessary wait times. This would benefit them as well to not have lined up patients they can't see. Overall: F To attempts and nothing accomplished but wasted time and annoyed nerves. read more

I went for blood work ordered from my doctor. I've been going to this location for at least three years. I'm writing to make a complaint. The brown carpet has bleach stains in several places, it looks awful. Please fix the toilet seat in the restroom to the left, it is not stable, it moves when you sit on it! Also clean the bathroom floor, especially around the toilet. Please clean the waiting areas, and spray disinfectant spray in those area, also add better lighting. Lastly I have two small bruises on my arm, that has never happened to me before, it is usually one dot on my arm from the blood draw. I did not like that. Needless to say I am very unhappy with the service and atmosphere at this location. read more

I made my appointment online and got there on time, to find that the office wasn't busy at all. I signed in at the front desk and before I was able to sit down, they were already calling me in to get my blood work done. The lady that was doing my blood test was fast and I barely felt the needle go through. I loved that it was quick and I was in and out in under 15 minutes. read more

Brenda is a chaotic, rude, loud and neurotic individual. The waiting room video tells you to mention any concerns you may have to your phlebotomy beforehand. So, I told Brenda that I have deep veins and they tend to roll. She immediately started shouting at me that veins don't roll, they move. That she was giving me a free educational class and that she's been doing this for 20 years. She shrieked that she knows all about what her job is and that she doesn't come to my job and tell me what to do. Mind you all of this was completely unsolicited. I did not argue with her, and she just felt the need to treat me with the worst bedside manner I have ever seen or even heard of so I just asked for someone else to help me. She was obviously offended that I got offended at her treatment of me. I was able to get my blood taken with an angel of a woman named Cheryl. Brenda continued to give me dirty looks and basically acting like a complete nut towards me the entire time I was there using any excuse to step into the room I was in. If you have to go there because your insurance only pays for Quest, avoid Brenda like covid, and ask for Cheryl. Cheryl made me feel very comfortable and took my blood better than anyone I've ever experienced. read more

The place is in the Orlando Hospital area and possibly not overcrowded because it's slightly tucked away in a shady little street. Nice small location, bright comfortable waiting room. Avoid this place at all cost. Go to any other location. After a head ache of a phone process to set up an appointment I come in for my appointment 20 minutes before its scheduled at 1 and the lady behind the counter says to sit down and wait to be called...she didn't ask for my name or anything. I even asked if there is any paperwork I need to fill out or show her. She said no and to sit down. I waited for 30 minutes before approaching the desk to ask again and a different lady said I need paperwork from my doctor. I know it was my fault not to bring it but I should have been alerted before I sat down and wasted my time. I go to grab the paperwork and the same lady from before says I need my insurance information so I called and was on hold and went through the process to garner it. I come back to the counter to ask her what she needs and she says the information is already in from my doctor and she wouldn't need it. These aren't huge issues but it's annoying to say the least to deal with someone who just acts like they don't even want to be here and don't even care about the hassle they are putting you through. Today we arrived two minutes early for a 10:45 appointment. Best Clinic I have been in by far. The online appointment setting was a snap, appointments were available that day within hours. I would recommend checking online for an appt. instead of being a walk-in, since this may increase time considerably. My appt. was at 11:15, I was seen at 11:15 exactly, out by 11:30. I typically love my experiences at quest. Other facilities I have visited are clean and the staff is always helpful and kind. This experience was like walking into the twilight zones of quest Diagnostics. Although the location is incredibly convenient, the facilities are filthy and the one employee I did come in contact with was rude. I don't typically give bad reviews, it really takes a lot to shake me up, but the chairs were stained with liquid and dirt, large patches of the carpet were stained with bleach marks and the bathroom needed badly to be cleaned. I was really uncomfortable being poked with anything due to the lack of cleanliness and almost left. If I hadn't had to rush to work I would have tried to find a different location for sure. At other locations workers go over my insurance and patient responsibility and at this location there was no such person, the lab tech only told me that no locations offer that service and they don't even verify insurance, she appeared annoyed and in disbelief that I would even ask. Well. I had an appt today at 8:00 AM at this location. It was HORRIBLE!!! Unbelievable. I received a msg " Thanks for waiting,we are ready for you to come in now". So,I came to the door as I could see other patients did before me. The nurse opened the door and LITERALLY stared at me with a such HATE! I was so surprised.She didn't say my name.So,I asked if she called me. She didn't say,she didn't ask "how are you" and so on as usually people ask politely their customers. I asked her if she was OK? She asked me if I was OK! Can you believe it? She said then that she almost hit me with the door. I said that I was far enough that she would hit me with the door. Wow. Is that how employees have to TREAT their patients? It's outrages! It's WRONG! She can't work there. It's scary. I was feeling very uncomfortable. Her skills weren't perfect either as her SCARY WRONG attitude. I want you to know it. It was unacceptable at all. She didn't say "have a nice day" at the end. Nothing. This is by far the worst Quest around. Waiting 45 minutes for them to take my husband and that was with an appointment. They were taking people that had come in 1/2 hour after after him. When he said he wanted a refund and he'd go somewhere else, then they took him. No telling how long he'd have to wait if he had not said he was leaving. Normally I have a good experience with bloodwork at this location. I would like to suggest when someone comes to pick up a stool sample kit, the receptionist should tell them to return it to Quest. The instructions in the kit say to have your doctor complete part of a form and to mail the sample to a lab in Tampa. I was all set to follow the instructions in the kit but took it with me to Quest for a blood test and was told that the physician didn't need to fill out the form and I was to turn it in there. It would have been helpful if they had told me that in the first place. I tried calling to talk to the office manager but no one answers the phone and you can't leave a message. read more
