My experience went as well at it could have. My 18 month had to get blood work for the first time. He's barely 20lbs and they were able to get FOUR tubes on him the first stick. He barely cried. I'm an ICU nurse and was very nervous going somewhere with minimal pediatric population experience to stick my baby. They did such an amazing job at this location that I had to give them props (I have only ever written like 2 reviews in my life if that tells you anything) Even gave my 3 year old and baby stickers for doing so well. Quest in Port Orange, Fl., is always busy! To the point that I had an appointment and still waited 45 minutes. It was 10 minutes before they closed, the technician said they were short handed one person. After drawing my blood I developed a hematoma and now 4 days later still have a huge bruise on my arm. All due to overload on the technician and not taking the time to due a proper blood draw!! Will not be going back there!!! read more

After years of visiting the 2000 N. Alafaya location, I inadvertently made an appointment here. After being turned away from the other location, I made the trek to this location which is kind of behind Chipotle close to the old Sports Authority store. I never noticed it before. I'm glad I screwed up because in all of my years of getting blood sucked out of me, this was the quickest I was ever in and out of a place. I had an 11:15a appointment and arrived about 11:17a due to having to rush here from the other location. I scanned my barcode and boom, my name appeared on the screen above the walk-ins! Nice! Hanna came out and called my name and took me right to the draw room. What, no purgatory 2nd waiting room! Score! She entered my insurance info which was new this year, and was already printing labels within minutes of my arriving. She then took my blood and it was non-eventful. I was in my car before 11:30a. Excellent. I got so used to the other location with being called back 10-15 minutes after my appointment time, then doing the computer work, and waiting in the 2nd waiting room with 4 chairs for another 10-15 minutes that I thought it was the norm. I'm glad I screwed up and made an appointment here, as this will now be my new location. Hopefully it doesn't get so busy that it turns into the other location! read more

Went in this morning for an appt for blood work. Appt was at 9:40am, I arrived at 9:30am, wasn't seen until till 10:21am, and was told I would have to come back the following day because they only do that specific blood work 7am-10am. Had to miss work for this. Extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend making appts here nor getting blood work here as they do not value your time. read more

As Florida "reopens" for business, I am going to focus on sanitation protocols, the availability of hand sanitizer, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and the like. I arrived later than usual at this Quest location as a walk-in, which is typical for me. I saw there were people in the waiting room, so I decided to wait in my car; and, indicated that when I checked in. There was no hand sanitizer available in the waiting room; and, the screen and door were filthy. I returned to my car; and, completed the registration and pre-registration process, which was way more complicated than it should be. I was asked to create an account; but, already had one, so I bailed out of the process. I received ZERO feedback as to my wait time or being in the queue; and, I decided to leave after waiting 45 minutes; and, seeing car after car arrive after me and the occupants go into Quest. It was ridiculous. As soon as I got home, I received a text to return to the facility... sigh. When I got inside, I booked an appointment at another location, as this location is not available for appointments on Quest. I also pre-registered again, which is just pathetic... the data should be saved and not requested again. read more

It was quick getting in and out of the Lucern Terrace office Staff was helpful Cheryl my tech was amazing I am a hard stick took 13 tries once at at ORMC I was told to came back next day because nobody could get a good stick Cheryl got mine first try no pain and no bruising she is amazing and sweet she is a floater but hope she will be there next time God bless her read more

My husband had lab draw this morning. After the draw, A piece of gauze and a piece of tape was loosely placed over the puncture instead of a pressure dressing . He developed a large hematoma . read more

The Apple Maps does not take you to the right address in the plaza. Quest is in the back buildings to the right of Kohl's. I arrived for my appointment and there were 4 people already waiting. I thought "great, I'm going to be here for a while." But nope! I was seen within a minute of checking in for my appointments. The others must've been walk-ins. Make an appointment and they won't waste your time! Lab went fine. A lot of ppl have trouble drawing my blood. Both times I've been to quest, the technician did it right without causing any unnecessary pain. read more

Horrible blood lab . Nancy L lab tech was terrible ! Coughing and complaining whole time she called me back to chair . Was moaning about the 4 blood lab slips I had and having to input the data. Bad demeanor .I explain that I am not in the best of heath currently as to why I have all the blood labs from specialist - her comment was aren't we all sick . Goes to draw blood I told her I have rolling veins but drank some water to help . Pokes me misses - pokes me other arm misses . Went for third time I said nope please get someone else .She gets mad pits me in a empty cube space leaves me there for 15 mins w no one to assist Me. I get up to go to front part of lab to flag another tech as my arm is bleed from second poke and only a cotton ball was given me - not a wrap or bandaid cause it looks bad on tech ! Finally sweet tech was coming back from Lunch and took me to her chair and wiped the blood down my arm off and helped me . Then Nancy leaves her patient in her chair to come into where I was sitting with nice blood tech and yells that it was not 20 mins that she left me and the new each looked at clock and said paper work it's 12:10 pm her appt is 11:00 am she didn't get called back till 11:25 left your chair from you at 11:42 ( which was left in empty chair bleeding ) Nancy stomps off . Maribel the manager was approached with the whole situation- she looked at me said nothing . DO NOT GO THERE ! BIG THANK YOU TO THE BLOOD TECH THAT HELPED ME GOD BLESS YOU ( she is called a floating tech ) fills in different labs or I would go to hers always ! read more

I took my son here to get his bloodwork done. Ms. Courtney was professional and amazing (She only works at this location every other weekend, but I highly recommend her!) She was calm, thorough and patient. She kept him informed of what she was doing during the process and took her time to find the best vein to draw his blood from. Our experience was seamless. I scheduled an appointment, checked in through my phone upon arriving, and waited in the car for social distancing. I received a text at exactly our appointment time and was in/out in about 15 minutes. I am aware that sometime you do have to wait a bit even with an appointment, but we didn't today. Unless you want to wait for an extended time (always busy); my recommendation is to schedule an appointment online! read more

There is no sign on the building. It's next to Plato's Closet. There is no receptionist. You have to sign in on a kiosk and touch a screen that dozens of people have touched before you. My daughter was called back 20 minutes after her appointment time, but it took the tech 10 minutes to put all the information in the computer! They did not have a specific specimen cup in stock that we need for a particular test, so the tech told us to try the Stoneybrook location. My husband went over there later in the morning and there was no receptionist there either. Oh and the posted phone number is just an automated menu. If you press the number to speak to someone, it transfers you to the national call center. So if you need to ask a question or pick up a specimen cup, you need to make an appointment! If you need to drop off a specimen, make an appointment! Do NOT sign in and choose "dropping off a specimen" even though the tech will tell you to do that. You'll be treated as a walk-in and have to wait for all the appointments to go ahead of you even though you're just dropping something off. read more
