The guy from radiology came in and walked me back to the CT scanner, explained what they were going to do, what they are looking for, and how long I can expect to be in.

We made an appointment for the following night at 8:40pm which turns out they don't really do appointments more of a reservation. If they are backed up well your 8:40 is also backed up. We arrived at 8:25 and was told 2 hour wait. Turned out to be a 30 min wait and it was a quick visit. All in all I am pleased with the service. I just wish I knew it wasn't an appointment setup, I would of came in 4 hours earlier. That's all. There was an Asian doctor, friendly, smiled, and answered all our questions. Front desk lady smiled, friendly, honest, and all in all I prefer this location over Lee Road. By the way the WiFi here is horrible if you are trying to connect to Plex Server or playing Hearthstone on your mobile devices.

I had a noon reservation and the lady that kept loudly complaining who was a 12:20 appointment (confirmed by her loudly talking about it) and got there after me, got seen and left before me. After waiting 1.5 hours I asked how much longer and told I was next. After another 30 minutes I asked someone else and was told there was another person ahead of me. Only after pointing out the discrepancy did they confirm I'd finally be seen. The swab was taken by writing my first name only, swabbing and putting it back in the opened package. Any other urgent care I've been to always has a label with patient info (how are you keeping samples straight without my last name?) and into a sterile tube after swabbed. The provider was fine and front desk staff very nice, but they have absolutely no organization and I would not return.

Advent Health, Winter Park, is a big hospital with a lot of ER docs and nurses. My last hospital…read moretrip this week, I got to see Dr. Mills, the Senior ER Resident who saved my life on the night of April 9th, as I went in with septic shock vs severe sepsis, the latter I had three times in the last three years. I reminded Dr. Mills of his accomplishment this past Tuesday night. He didn't remember and was very busy with other patients. Hours later, as the ER had a moment of respite, Dr. Mills took time to review his April 9th notes and remembered me as someone he believed would depart from this earth when he sent me upstairs on the night of the April night discussed. He came into my room Tuesday night, before sending me upstairs for admission, gave me a fist bump, and thanked me for reminding him of why he's an ER Resident. For those who don't know about Septic Shock, most die. Those who don't die, often have arms, legs, or all amputated, and somehow, Dr. Mills and his team prevented all of the aforementioned nightmare scenarios.

Due to the findings from a recent medical check, I had to have an outpatient surgery done…read more Everything was set up, I received updates from my appointments and the surgery via both calls from the scheduling team, the doctor's office and also via Epic MyChart which is the helpful tool where you can track all medical care, notes and such easily via the phone app or your computer. I arrived at 630a the day of my surgery, was taken back into the prepping area where nurse Gemma got me all ready for my procedure, took my readings, checked up on me to ensure everything was ready to go and to ensure I was feeling at ease. There was also nurse Amy who came in, prepping me and another whose name I cannot recall but each one of them truly were wonderful. The level of care I was provided helped ease any anxiety or worries which could have gotten a hold of me. Dr. Sefton, the anesthesiologist came by to introduce himself, explain how he was going to provide his skills towards my care, informed me of what exactly he would monitor me for to ensure I was not feeling nauseous after the anesthesia I would be provided. A short bit after, Dr. Kemp came in to also go through how she was going to assist my health with the surgery I was going to have. My loved ones were brought in to sit with me for a bit before I was moved into the operating room, given some good drugs and I don't recall anything until I was moved into PACU for recovery. While in the PACU, my loved ones were able to come in as a nurse monitored me to make sure there were no aftereffects happening, I was dressed up once everything was clear that I was feeling well enough to head home, and my visit to the Outpatient was pleasantly done. I was given clear instructions on how to treat my procedure area and what to expect. I arrived home by noon time, shortly after took a nap and have not felt any nausea or pain at all. I was able to sleep well in my own bed, woke up today in great spirits and feeling wonderful considering all that has happened a short while ago. I went onto MyChart and read through all the clinical notes posted by Dr. Kemp where everything is clearly outlined so I can easily track my care.

I walked in on a Thursday at 3:15pm, was already in a gown, had a room and registration process started by 3:20! I had a few tests done, blood drawn, etc and was out within 2 hours. I highly recommend Baldwin Park ER for your emergency medical needs.

10/24/2025 afternoon I went to HCA Florida Baldwin park er for my husband having an asthma attack…read morehe did not have an albuterol pump so he used a store bought pump that was primatene basically epinephrine which caused adrenaline since he accidentally took too much... we got there it was fine until the nurse Vincent Sobal who's name I only now know because of the police report that was filed after.. we came here for help received an absolute attitude from Vincent from the beginning I tried to speak for my husband having an asthma attack and he put his hand up immediately and said "I'm not speaking to u let the patient speak" my husband with the breath he had told him he's having an asthma attack Vincent walked us to a room and on the way starts apologizing for his behavior to which I said it was "still rude" he was so unprofessional when we got to the room he continued arguing about how the patient needs to respond ok I asked for a different nurse to which, instead of just leaving and getting a different nurse he continued to argue saying we only have three nurses on staff and all this nonsense I asked "you know what what's ur name?" He walked up to me instead of telling me his name arms length like a child grabbed his badge very aggressively and put it in my face, it was backwards so I laughed at him and said "it's backwards so he then proceeded to flip it angrily and aggressively and shove it in my face hitting my face my husband was never assessed and my husband saw this while having his asthma attack on the premetene jumps up to help me and all of a sudden a female nurse Shandis is there out of nowhere Vincent pushes her into my husband as a shield tries to strike my husband while she is in the middle my husband reacts in self defense swings back missing him and Shandis ducks her head which I saw very clearly she did not get hit which later she and Vincent lied to police about I tell her please get us out of here I want to go to another hospital the security guard comes who by the way is no help they need to hire better security he's holding my husband as am I and Vincent is still in the hallway antagonizing my husband said he was a racist and a trump supporter and says come on like he just was egging him on as I'm trying to help my husband leave and security is in the middle my husband finally reacts and they end up on the floor with the security guard between them! By the way this man is white and about 6 foot 3 2 to 300 pounds and is a nurse fighting a patient with an asthma attack. I ask everyone around at this point we are by the nurses station and I ask the doctor "this is your nurse. What are you gonna do about this? Stop this! Help us!" No one did a thing until I got on top of Vincent to get him away from my husband I'm 5'3 and 115 pounds he kicks me in my stomach. I flew about 3 feet and the cops put in the report that he pushed me with his foot. I don't know what to do. Finally somehow we are able to walk out of these doors of this hell hole Hospital and they call the cops and the cops come and My Husband can't even walk. He drops to the floor he was fighting this man with an asthma attack. He could not breathe at all. He wanted to go to a different hospital. The cops did not allow it. They forced him to go back into the hospital where they continue to antagonize him in the new nurse asked him " Are you going to hit me too?" I was obviously hysterical because I knew that they were going to try to take My Husband and they were gonna take Vincent's side they did not allow me back into the hospital. I did not hit anyone. I did not hurt anyone. I did not do anything to anyone at that hospital, but try to stop the fight which Vincent escalated instead of leaving like you should have like a professional should have. Finally the cops told me that the CEO has trespassed me from the hospital for no reason and I cannot be with My Husband they gave him a simple nebulizer treatment never assess him and tell the cops. He's all your boys the cops take him to jail. So I'm across the street obviously hysterical not able to see my husband. They take him in the cop car take him straight to jail. This has caused this so much drama and so much anguish and now we are fighting a case and the prosecution will not drop this case against my husband who was a patient at a hospital and was attacked by a nurse and the footage that they show there is no audio in the footage very conveniently also I believe they tampered with the evidence the video footage recently.
