Very disappointed in the service we were given. We called for a plumber on Thursday morning but were told we couldn't be serviced until Monday. We only have 1 bathroom in our apartment, so that wouldn't work. They finally sent an inexperienced plumber to our house after hours and he only augered our toilet one time. Within 36 hours we had to call a different plumber who actually pulled the object out of our toilet because Any Hour said they couldn't come until Monday, again. read more

We've had Any Hour out before for an AC tune up. We were very happy with the service and cost. This time we had a plumber out and he was very nice and skilled, however the pricing was outrageous! He replaced a toilet valve and a flapper on a noisy toilet. He was working on it for 20 minutes. The total? $305. THEN I showed him the coupon I had and he deducted $50. New total? $255. Still unbelievable! Am I out of touch with what a plumber charges for less than 30 minutes of work? The service was done in Lehi. read more

I had them out on a quote for a new furnace and ac which were both working perfectly well. I knew they were getting old and probably not very efficient. The salesman proceeded to tell me how bad the original install was and how many code violations there was. But his wonderful company was willing to take care of most them at no extra charge be cause quote quote there in the business to serve the public. I almost threw up listening to him. It was funny to me only because I'm a general contractor of 40 years and have heard this B.S. for years. There quote with the good buddy discount was just over 13k. I had it done by a contractor with good review's by the contractors board for 10,300 with the same equipment. I can afford the good buddy discount they offer. Buyer beware. read more

The technician Justin S. did his job just fine. However he had to spend more time trying to upsell me on everything under the sun that he could do for me, than the actual work I needed him to do. I dont blame this on him, just the policies of the company he works for. Ultimately he worked for about 30mins locating and getting power to a location for me (not actually hooking up the smoke detector mind you... that was extra) and it cost me $250 (with discount coupons). I think thats more than a doctor charges, so I cant say that I will ever call Any Hour again. read more

I called Any Hour today needing someone to come unclog a tub drain. They offered me an appt next Monday, a week from today. I asked what happen to "any hour" and was told, sorry. I would have been ok with tomorrow but a week out is ridiculous. I called another plumber who offered me an appointment today. Guess who got my business. read more

I requested that Any Hours Plumbing come to my house to adjusted my sink line in my kitchen. Their plumber arrived and provided me with the quote and did the work. After the work was finished I came to the conclusion that the work done was not what was expected. I requested that Any Hours provide a detailed receipt of the cost associated with the work done and how I was billed. Both Ryan (plumber) and Troy (manager) were unwilling to provide those details to me after multiple calls and emails. I originally called on May 17th and was told someone would call me within 24 hours. One week later I called back and was told yet again the manager would call within 24 hours, this again did not happen and I called and finally reached the manager, Troy. To this date, Any Hours has not provided me with a receipt of the details of work done. I am also unhappy with how the work tuned out but more dissatisfied with their unwillingness to assist with their customers request to know how and why I was billed. The photos below show $900 worth of work, billed at $150 to hammer out my concrete wall and $650+ to install the new pipe. Any Hours offered a small refund to me but I decided to dispute the bill with AMEX. I will NEVER recommend Any Hours nor will ever use them again. The service provided for the amount charged does not add up. They need to be more upfront with how they are billing customers. I have also reported them to the BBB. read more

I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could!! Not happy at all with the service (or lack of) that we received. Had an appointment yesterday for a tune up. He told us we have major problems with our furnace & we would have to shell out $4-6,000 on a new furnace making it sound very serious that it could go out any time. As he was turning everything on & putting things away, we noticed that it wasn't kicking on. So of course it wasn't his fault (but it sure was working fine before he looked at it). He claims that because of all the problems it has, that is the reason why it stopped working. He said he's not the one to fix the problem (that he caused) & he would have to get a tech to come out & "run tests" to see what was wrong with it. We were thinking they would be out to look at it later that day knowing we won't have a working furnace, but they couldn't get anyone out until the next afternoon & the best they could do is have someone drop off space heaters. Now I understand it is a busy season, but they should make it a priority to fix their mistake. We tried calling to see if we could get someone to look at it sooner, but the "answering service" was very rude & not helpful at all. They could care less that we have young kids. Frustrated with the run around we had a friend come look at, fix & let us know our furnace was just fine. It just needed a good cleaning. So whenever your able to pick up your space heaters (which btw, one of the two didn't work, surprise, surprise), it will be sitting outside my front door. But you better hurry cause it will get cold tonight. read more

Enos was a courteous and efficient worker as he serviced our air conditioners. Would recommend.

They stood me up for a heating/cooling service 2 years ago. I stayed most of the day and they kept pushing back the arrival time. Finally I cancelled and went to work. Thought I would give them another chance. I signed up for the $49 dollar special in February. They told me they were scheduling for June. Really? I went ahead and scheduled anyway for 8 - 12 arrival. They called me a week before and the day before to confirm they would be here between 9-noon. At 1:00 PM I got a text that they were on their way. I told them to cancel. They can never show up on time. Anyhour means they will come out any hour they feel like it. I am through with them. I am in the market for a new A/C system, I will not even take a bid from Anyhour. I'll call Superior or Whipple. I have used them both for service and they both show up on time. I give Anyhour a 0 stars. read more

Unbelievable. Called over a week ago with a plugged toilet. Scheduled for today at 3 to get it cleared. Rec'd a reminder text yesterday for the appt. Rec'd a second reminder text mid morning today. Our a/c went out during the most recent heat wave in the salt lake valley. The first company I contacted was able to repair the unit, however it was apparent that the fix was temporary and a complete system overhaul was needed. I contacted 4 different HVAC companies to get a bid for a 2 stage furnace, single stage a/c, air purifier and humidifier. I wanted carrier / Bryant units. One company had prices that were 30% higher than all of the other companies. I felt like Any Hour was more interested in designing the perfect HVAC system in my home rather than upselling me on a superfluous over the top system that would be way more than my home requires. From the initial contact of acquiring a bid on the system, to the final install and fine tuning of my new system Any Hour has been responsive, professional and exceeded my expectations. They adhere to the ethic of "customer satisfaction". I honestly feel like they really do care about pleasing the client. Any Hour cares about getting the client what they want while letting the consumer know that sometimes what they want is overkill and not needed, even if it means a decrease in the billable services that they can charge. I appreciate this honesty and recommend them highly. Their employees are professional, courteous and they provided me with exceptional customer service. I am certain that their outstanding service will continue for years to come. read more

The lights were flickering in my house and eventually half of the house lost power. I called Any Hour Electric Plumbing Heating, which is false and misleading because it is based on their "ANY HOUR", not yours, and they could not send out a tech for a day or so. The part of my house that was without power was necessities like, refrigerator, laundry, etc... Once the tech finally arrived he was distraught, apparently having domestic issues and proceeded to rush through the house and replace GFCI outlet throughout the house thinking it was the problem, and then proceeded to the breaker box and said that all the breakers should be replaced. The whole time that he was fixing things he never revealed the cost. After all the switch breakers had been replaced at the breaker box the problem persisted. The technician then went outside to the main breaker and replaced the main breaker switch, which he claimed was the wrong piece. The electricity turned back on and the technicians revealed the cost of a whopping $1,800.00 to fix a few breakers. I know that breakers don't cost that much and for ONE HOUR of service, not even attorneys or doctors make that amount. He acted like it was nothing, and that I should kiss his ass for charging me that exorbitant amount. What is most deplorable about this debacle, is that this company takes advantage of you! They manipulate the situation, especially when you are vulnerable-like having no electricity, or air conditioning, etc.... Six months later the problem is back! Half, my house has no power. It turns out that because I had to call Rocky Mountain Power at 1 am in the morning, the technician who came out was very friendly and honest about the electrical situation, the exact opposite from, Any Hour. Anyway, the piece that should have been replaced is located in the meter box and the technician from Rocky Mountain said that I do not have to replace the whole box and it shouldn't take more than an hour to replace. I called "WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT ANY HOUR" and explained the problem, and of course, they cannot get a tech out today or even in a couple of days! I have not gotten over being ripped off $1,800.00, for an hour's worth of labor. I would have given them -000 STARS if I could. I would not recommend this company to anyone, with the exception of Donald Trump, Putin, Assad, Duterte, Stalin, and Hitler! They are predatory and manipulative! Furthermore, I will do everything in my power to inform the public by submitting complaints to every form of government and municipal agency in the state of Utah to ensure they lose their business license! Oh, BTW... you did not make me smile today, it was the exact opposite, Spare me your platitudes! read more

I thought these were HVAC services, not legal council...they might as well be for what there hourly rates are! During our service call they were kind enough to diagnose the problem and brought a few things to our attention (why they got 2 stars)...and that was "free". As we know, nothing in life is free, bc he was happy to come back the following day and fix them for $800. Problem is, one of the parts was $25 and the other was $50...meaning the labor (ummm carry the 1) is $725?!?!?!? The time on this job if you drove 10 mph to the closest Home Depot would only take 3-4 hours at most! With college tuition prices sky rocketing, I think I'm going to advise my new born daughter to go work for Any Hour Services as one of their service people! read more

Our AC stopped working on a Friday afternoon and Any Hour was the only company with available appointments for the same day. They were supposed to come between 3 and 5. We got a call at about 4:30 saying they would be there after 5, which didn't work for us. So we rescheduled for the next day, between 11 and 1. Not ideal, since it was 85 degrees in our house, but oh well. The repair man showed up and did a great job diagnosing the problem. My husband decided to look up the part we needed on Amazon and we realized that Any Hour was marking the part up about $250. We brought this up to the repair man and he turned kind of nasty. He told me he had to feed his family somehow (like I was personally taking money out of his pocket by buying the part elsewhere), my husband would probably shock and kill himself if he tried to repair it himself, and that we would essentially be blacklisted by Any Hour and they would never return to our home again. He was obviously upset that we didn't get the part from them and told me he had other appointments to go to where people's AC wasn't working and they could actually use his service. Very rude and unprofessional, even though we paid him for his time and the diagnosis he gave us. read more

Had a technician come out to clear a sewage line in my home. Partially cleared it out but referred a "specialist" to look at it further (still had to pay the bill). "Specialist" came out and said I had a broken line and quoted me $7562 to fix it! Said I had no other options but to dig up the street, didn't offer any other ways to fix it and was sure it was a break. Tried every sales tactic to get me to commit to the $7562. Luckily I got another quote for $3750 for the same work. Once we got the pipe exposed, there was no break, only roots that a hydro flush could have cleared for under $400. I now have the stress and heartbreak of debt that was unnecessary. I feel taken advantage of and almost like it was a scam. read more

I had such a great experience with Any Hour. My first appointment had to be rescheduled due to other more serious plumbing issues that they were taking care of but it ended up working out better in the end. They gave me a 20 minute heads up when Zach was on his way and he showed up right on time. What an awesome guy! He was so knowledgeable, honest and friendly, it really made the experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Any Hour for their exceptional service and the fact that they aren't just looking to sell you something that you might not need, they are definitely trustworthy. read more

I will never use them again! Had someone come out and check furnace last week. He said he couldn't find anything. Then after an hour he said I needed a $750-$885 smart valve. I started doing a little research and decided to get another opinion. The next person said that I absolutely did not need this part and explained where the noise was coming from. Pretty unethical!!!, Good thing I'm smart and all about second and even third opinions. Your loss, my gain as I have a new furnace provider! read more

I'm very dissatisfied with the work from Any Hour. I was selling my house and had a checklist of items to fix throughout the house. I read 3 line items to the "licensed" Electrician for work I needed to have completed before I could sell my home. One line I read to him multiple times was "The outlets that are not grounded to be repaired so that there is not an issue of those sockets tripping". Again, this was read to the Electrician over 3 times because I needed it fixed to sell my house. After doing some other work upstairs, the Electrician then walked around with me talking about the outlets in the basement telling me they were safe. In his words he later emailed me, " I evaluated the Breaker Panel and found it to be sound. I Checked the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (Safety Outlets) and they were functioning. There were also some Two Prong Outlets in the Basement, I checked each of them and they all were working. As long as they remain in place they are considered safe and up to code for their day." A few weeks pass and now the new homeowners claim that the outlets are not "grounded" in the basement. I send the statement from the Electrician and they call him to come out and see the outlets once again. This time he tells the new owners that they all need to be replaced and have surge protectors installed for $1200!!!! We are talking about 4 outlets here right?!?! Two weeks prior, these outlets were considered safe by this Electrician, but in order to make more money from someone else, he wants to replace everything! Of course, the new owners want me to pay the $1200 for this work performed. I proceed to contact the Electrician to explain what is going on. He then changes his story telling me that he never checked the outlets to see if they were grounded. (Remember the exact line item that I read to him multiple times) What happened to these outlets being safe?!?!?! He told me on his first visit that if I were to continue to live in this house he would recommend installing some upgrades but that they were still safe. I then asked if it really cost $1200 to ground 4 outlets and he said he didn't want to go behind the new owner's back stating it was "unethical to respond to me about pricing". Was it not unethical then to go behind my back and tell the new home owners a different story then what he stated to me previously?!?!?! I'm very frustrated with the fact that the Electrician is fabricating our discussions and my responses. I won't be using Any Hour again! read more

Our water heater decided to bust and flood our basement. We called Any Hour and they sent out a tech that same day, which was awesome. He then proceeded to let us know that our water heater was still under warranty but, his boss wouldn't let him swap it out for a new one. His boss said that the water heater we have is crap and he wont replace it with a new one. This same "boss" said the only thing they could do was put in a tankless water heater, which would have been great, but it came with a $7k price tag. I obviously passed and thanked the tech for his time. They charged us $285 for nothing. They did nothing and charged me almost $300. I called around, found someone that would replace the water heater that same day, and I also looked into the tankless water heater. None of them were even close to $7k. The tech we got to do the labor for us, said he would NEVER charge someone $7k for a tankless water heater. Any Hour, is a scam. They aren't here to help customers, they are here to rob them. read more

Sounds like they are moving in the right direction. Hope to see more of them. I'll give them another try. Thanks.

No one wants to wake up to raw sewage in their basement (especially since we weren't aware it was mostly sewage until after the tech came to the house and we had traipsed around in it before he had arrived). We had used Anyhour for our furnace a few years ago and called them. They had a tech out almost immediately who diagnosed the problem pretty accurately, worked with us on what we wanted to do to fix it from offering a bandaid approach to a full repair. They also effortlessly contracted with a repair company, who also happened to work well with our home owner's insurance, to get the sewer soaked carpet out of the house and to mitigate the damage. All of this was done within two hours of the first call which speaks volumes about their logistics. We did choose a full repair to what happened to be several compromised joints of our main sewer line. The house is old and other issues had created a situation that we couldn't ignore or just slap a minor fix on (unlike the prior home owner). The cost was pretty mind boggling at first glance until we googled things and found out we were getting a pretty good deal. Some of what they ended up doing involved backhoes (did you know your mainline is around 10 feet below your yard? Try digging that up yourself to save a few bucks...) And they worked well with the city and getting permits. They ALWAYS had excellent communication of when they were supposed to be there and also always arrived within minutes of their estimate. They cleaned up after themselves well, too. They had a hiccups on their end which delayed things, but they never tried to add anything on to price and never seemed incompetent, delays sometimes happen. I was seriously imagining a much rockier process and was very happy. Their office staff was always friendly. They communicated well and answered the phone quickly. Their initial drain tech, Troy, was also great - friendly but efficient. Plumbing supervisor Brady the 1st was the one that assisted us with plans and pricing. He was patient, kind, and knowledgable. Plumber Brady the 2nd installed a new water shutoff (why not just fix other stuff while they're fixing something big?) He was quick and accurate and did a great job in the tiny space my home allowed for that. He also worked well with the mainline fix. Dan dug the hole better than a gravedigger. Nothing was ripped up in my yard that didn't have to be. Everything was put back together (but for sod and sprinklers). As an aside and coda. If your home owner's policy allows for a mainline umbrella policy TAKE IT because it wont' be covered if you don't (some don't allow for that at all anyway depending on the house). read more

This is the most unethical business I have ever came across. I would give 0 stars if it would let me. We had our tenant call us to tell us their furnace wasn't working in our rental house so we called Any Hour to come out and look at it. The tech told us that we needed to replace the furnace that it would be more expensive to repair it then to just by a new one. He then said they have to send out their sales rep to talk with us about our options. They sent out the Sales Rep Bowen the next evening around 5:00 pm. We had him come to our house instead of the rental property so we didn't have to disturb the tenant again since we were just going to be picking out a furnace to replace it with. He comes in and seems like a very nice guy and goes over everything with us and we agree on a furnace. He then asks us if we want to put down a deposit but said we didn't have to. We didn't have a problem with giving a deposit because we were planning on having it replaced anyways. He then hands my husband his tablet with a blank signature page and tells him he needs him to sign this giving them permission to do the work. After they left we got a call from our tenant saying they had called someone to come look at it because they hadn't heard from us and that they replaced the ignitor and it is working great. Only charged them $100.00. They proceeded to tell us that the repair guy told them that whoever put the ignitor in had broken it when they installed it which is why it quit working. He said the furnace is in great condition other than that. Well needless to say we had Any Hour out there a couple months before and they were the ones that replaced the ignitor and apparently broke it. So with that we called and emailed Any Hour the very next morning not even 12 hours later to cancel the order and refund the deposit because the tenants had it fixed and we don't need the furnace. They went ahead and canceled the order and said they would have the finance department process the refund. I waited a few days and didn't hear anything so I checked my card statement and of course they processed the payment but didn't refund it. I sent them another email and again no response. So I called them and they told me they would have someone call me and get it taken care of. A guy named Josh called me back and proceeds to tell me that there will be no refund it was a non refundable deposit and that he had talked to Bowen and he told him he had went over this with us. I quickly learned what Bowen's integrity is worth. He kept saying it is on the invoice you signed that the deposit is non refundable, well we never seen an invoice until after my husband had signed a blank screen and Bowen had left and had sent it to us. I didn't even think to look at it. The fact is Bowen never discussed this with us why would I have put down a deposit when he told me I didn't have to and it was completely up to me. If I would have known it was non refundable of course I wouldn't have put down a deposit, I would have just waited and paid in full after it was installed. He never once told us that. So I proceed to ask Josh to speak with his supervisor and he refused to let me and says he will have him call me. I told him I did not want to wait because they are not good at getting back to people and would appreciate if he could just give me his supervisors number so I could call him. He refused and told me he would make sure his supervisor reaches out. It has now been over a week and his supervisor still has not called me so that is why I decided to share my experience. This is horrible business ethics how are you going to keep $1300.00 from somebody when you did absolutely nothing and lied to them about needing a new furnace in the first place? I understand charging me the $50 call out fee but keeping $1300 come on have some integrity. read more

I have now had 2 separate encounters with this company and am super impressed. The electricians-- Robert and Jake -- were courteous and knowledgeable. We had several unsafe wiring issues resolved and updated circuits that were old/overheating and presenting a danger to not trip if something was getting overloaded. Yes, it was expensive to fix -- but in my book -- you can choose to spend $2900 to upgrade your electrical panel and add a few outlets (they gave me 7 new outlets with that price), or, you can risk a fire or death in your home! As for the second encounter, a plumber named David helped me understand my water softener that I feared wasn't working. Again, very courteous and knowledgeable. Companies like this operate around the clock, so I was asked to reschedule my plumbing consultation once when there was a pressing issue with another customer that needed to be resolved. This is understandable and my issue was not that pressing -- I just wanted to make sure my softener was working. They had offered this appointment to me as free too, since I'd just used them for a big electrical upgrade. I think the company is fantastic and the naysayers who give poor reviews aren't very forgiving of scheduling problems or the real world price to fix something as necessary as electrical or plumbing. I am forgiving of the scheduling issues as I understand they are a 24 hour company and they have to schedule the most dire emergencies (like a basement flooding) before the less pressing issues. Sure, you might be inconvenienced. But these guys are rockstars in the field and you wouldn't go wrong to give them a call. read more

Deseves zero stars. Very unprofessional service, tech spent 30 minutes sitting on my couch talking video games with my kid instead of going to get the part. Then he couldn't tell me how much the part was when installed, only the total for the repair and one crappy service plan that I didn't want. After two weeks of calling, I finally talked with a manager and they basically lied to me about not knowing the cost of the part, and then made up some outrageous number that made me look like I got a discount and they took a loss....yeah right, no one does that and stays in business. Very dishonest business. I will never do business with them ever again. I will also not recommend them to anyone for anything. read more

DO NOT use this company if you don't want to be ripped off!!! They provide no breakdown of costs. Your cost is NOT for your specific job. They only provide a total amount that they will charge you to complete the job to cover their admin fees. No breakdown of part cost. No hourly rate to complete the job. I have never worked with a company or contractor who couldn't or wouldn't provide a breakdown of all costs for parts and labor. 70% of their costs are overhead costs. BE VERY CAREFUL about choosing this company to do your work. We needed a water pressure regulator valve replaced. We had called around to some companies ahead of time and was told to fix this would be about $325-$375 total cost for parts and labor. We weren't impressed with online reviews and customer service from other companies. We reached out to friends and neighbors who suggested Any Hour Service. They were kind and seemed interested in helping us so we scheduled our service with them. The technician tested our water heater for the water pressure. Said it wasn't too bad. Showed him the vibration in the pipes and he said that indeed we'd need to replace the water pressure valve. He told us it would be $583.00 and that included a $50 coupon. Without the coupon our job would be $633. We asked why it was so much and he couldn't tell us. I told him what other companies quoted us and his only response was "their valve must not be the same level as the one you currently have on your home." The "licensed" plumber had no idea what the part costed or what the $583 charge entailed. I didn't know what a valve costed and figured it just must be a very expensive part. It had to be fixed to prevent our basement from getting flooded. We felt like we didn't have any other option as companies were several days, to a week out, same as their company. We had already waited 5 days for the tech to get out to our house. We had them do the job to prevent any damage to our home. It took the tech about 20 min to replace the valve . They were at my house a total of 54 min, which included the 2 min water pressure test and talk time to discuss cost and to make a decision. After they left I started looking at why it could cost so much. Where was the discrepancy from the other company quotes? We had a $38 service fee, which we knew would be there. All other costs are hidden except the final cost. There is a HUGE lack of transparency. After digging, this part is about $130.00. So far with parts and service fee, we are at $168. I was expecting around $150 an hour for labor. NOPE!!!! I'm getting charged $415 for LABOR!! What the crap!! So much for me thinking this was an expensive part!! They are ripping me off for labor and overhead fees. I asked to talk to a manager. They said each truck that goes out to each house costs $300 for them to cover all their overhead costs and to pay the plumber. Just the cost of the service fee, whether they did any work for me or not, would alone cover the hourly rate for a licensed plumber. They claim they don't do hourly rates for jobs or they wouldn't stay in business. All their jobs have a lump fee. He claims no one does cost breakdowns anymore as they are a waste of time. Well, let me tell you, 6 months ago I worked with a painter and 2 weeks ago worked with a fence company, where they both have provided a COMPLETE breakdown of supply costs and labor with a total cost with everything included. I have NEVER worked with a company that provides a service who doesn't offer a cost breakdown. The plumber or manager couldn't even tell me a cost breakdown. They didn't even know the cost of the part. If I would've known I was paying $415 for admin fees I would've taken my chances with the house flooding and going elsewhere. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE-YOU'LL GET CHARGED WAY MORE THAN THE JOB COSTS!! WHAT A JOKE!! I will definitely spread the word that this company will over charge for their service. Not worth all the hype I heard about them. Will NEVER go back!! read more

With the crush of construction it is hard to get a service technician when it is urgently needed. I called Any Hour because I was desperate. They came at the scheduled date/ time. The issue was handed in 15 min and we are grateful but the Technician proceeded to ask to see the water heaters, why? He said to check "water pressure". The pressure was fine but he proceeded to upswell big time: new water heater, tankless heater, expansion tank & on & on. Upsell appears to be their motto. I will never use them again. read more

Update 11/11/2016 - anyhour did fix this. They called and waived the fee. I never did get a call from a manager explaining the situation but they did at least not create an angry customer. Thank you. Worst company ever! I have a rental property in Orem and I live in St George. I knew two breakers were bad so I had Anyhour Electric go to replace the breakers. There is a $39 diagnostic fee. Technician called and told me two breakers were bad and 8 others were not UL listed. To replace all 10 breakers would be $1250!!!!! I asked him how long to replace a breaker he said 2 minutes. How much does a breaker cost? he said $10. Do the math. That's $100 in materials and it will take him less than 30 minutes to replace the breakers. That makes the labor $2000 an hour. I told him that is insane and I would be happy to have him replace the breakers at a fair market value. He said he is a certified electrician and that is the price. After a long and frustrating conversation he left with no service done. I called a licensed and certified technician that came and replaced all 10 breakers and fixed a wiring issue the Anyhour guy missed. $300 for the whole job. He charged me $50 and hour plus parts. This company is taking advantage of uneducated consumers. I called the company and tried to talk to a manager. They just kept telling me someone would call and no one ever did. Only call I got was from the finance guy that told me I owed the diagnostic fee and when I told him I would not pay it until I talked to a manager he told me that I was being sent to collections and I can deal with them. read more

my wife called this company to fix a leak in one pex elbow fitting. one fitting that is not copper. they charged us $585 to replace one fitting. you can buy all the parts at lowes, buy the pex crim tool all for less than $100 and it would have taken me 20 minutes to fix! this company charges outrageous prices. do not use unless you want to be screwed. read more

ONE STAR REVIEW I had a spigot on the outside of the house that froze over the winter. When I turned it on a couple of days ago, water started spouting inside the house. I turned it off and it stopped. Turns out part of the valve, just inside the wall, had frozen and ruptured. I wasn't sure of the "construction" required to access it and get it fixed, so I called Any Hour. They quoted me a $38 fee, just to come look at it, but promised it would be applied to the cost of any repair. Jesse showed up. He was really nice. Quickly identified the problem and sat down to write up some quotes. He gave me three, ranging from about $440-$740! I figured there must be a lot more labor involved than I had thought, and made the gross mistake of not making him break down the costs. The part costs about $30 or less at any hardware store. I reluctantly agreed to the cheapest option as I didn't see $300 added value to the highest quote, but $440 still seemed extremely high, but I assumed the repair must be more labor intensive. IT WASN'T. The repair itself took him about 15 minutes, tops. Clean up and paper work may have taken another 15 minutes. Assuming they marked up the cost of parts THREE TIMES ($90) because they can (and to include misc. part costs), what the heck was the extra $340 in labor for? Assuming the entire visit, from start to finish, lasted 45 minutes (at the most), that means Jesse was charging me $453/hour labor? WTF?!! And that's already factoring in the cost of parts being ridiculously inflated! Then, to add insult to injury, he tried to charge me an additional $38 trip fee (when I mentioned that it had been explained to me that it would be applied to the cost of the repair, he just told me I was responsible to tell him that. Shady, shady, shady.) Yes, they fixed the problem. The repair was a simple one. However, their arbitrary pricing seems to be based on profiteering from people's plumbing insecurity, rather than reasonable set rates. I will not be calling Any Hour ever again, nor would I refer them. I will, however, warn whomever I can about their horrible pricing model (take as much as you can). read more

They came quickly and communicated with me so I was prepared for them to come. They also did a great job explaining what the problem was and how to fix it. read more

well I still don't have anything nice to say about their services. Nor do I have anything bad to say. I do have something nice to say about how well they went out of their way to make sure I felt taken care of. I wasn't really looking for resolution but these guys tracked me down and where very understanding of my complaint. They offered to give me the video doorbell as per their promotion. If these guys are as good at doing paying jobs as they are at promotions I would highly recommend them. I did only give them a 4 star rating because my review isn't regarding their actual services. Thanks for the great customer service guys! read more

Terrible company! Had them come out and check out our furnace. They guy came and told us it was spreading carbon monoxide and we had to shut it down and replace it. After reading reviews on the company we decided to get a second opinion and sure enough they are LIARS!!! Nothing is wrong with our furnace. Don't trust them! They just want your money. read more
