We recently had Richard Cook re-key our new house. I must say he takes a lot of pride in his work. He went so far as to move the metal plate on our front door so it closed more securely. He charges $50 for the service, $15 a lock and will make your keys and extras on the spot. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good locksmith. I retired from the facility maintenance business where I dealt directly with various contractors in the locksmith business over a period of years. When my wife couldn't find her business keys she got another locksmith(s) to come out. They told her she had a "high security" lock that couldn't be picked. Her only option would be to have the lock drilled out (at risk of destroying the door) and replacing the works. This would have been very expensive (and time consuming) as the new lock would require several new keys for the remaining employees and the hassle of distribution, signing for the keys, etc. I refused to believe her lock was that complicated and contacted Rick over the phone. He promised me nothing but agreed to check it out arriving on the scene within a half hour. He quickly picked this lock (a standard issue BEST interchangeable core door lock) and she gained entry to the store within minutes.
