    Flautas and beef nachos

I've been to this place so many times in the past few years and I have always had good experience. The food is great and Customer Service is awesome. Never had a problem with any of the servers. Me and my husband come all the time and our family loves it as well.

    Enchilada and tacos

Just seemed a little off today. Fajitas were somewhat tough. Fajitas have been better in past visits. The corn tortillas for the enchiladas were tough as well and also normally a lot better. The restaurant is always clean and has many friendly and attentive employees.

No cheese chicken and rice wet burrito. And not so wet burrito

$18.80 for a chicken rice and cheese burrito. I ordered over the phone and it took another lady that spoke English to understand and take my order. Don't have a front desk girl that can't understand English ever though she was super nice. I said I want chicken rice and cheese burrito and she kept saying beans. I repeated it several times until she got it. I got there and they said it was $18.80 I asked why so much for a 3 ingredient burrito, she said it was $2.49 to add cheese to a standard burrito and apparently they have gold in their food. Well I never got cheese just some dry chicken and dry rice. Truly disappointed for a $20 burrito after tip. If you're going to charge me $18 for burrito, it better be good and not dry chicken.I'm willing to pay for good food this fella way short.

    Nachos. $11, cold and dry.

We were regular customers, at least once and sometimes twice a week. Tonight we ordered nachos to go. They were $11 and had only 6 chips. They were cold and dried out. Manager refused to refund. We won't be back on principle, even though we live 5 minutes away.

    Guacamole for $3.79

I was very disappointed for the cost of a cookie size scoop of guacamole and the fajita's chicken was chewy like it was premade chicken. Don't expect authentic, because fajita's should not be out in 10 mins and the hot plate wasn't sizzling. I thought maybe they brought out someone else order sent back. And I never had an order of fajitas with slices of potatoes. Guess this is how they cook in West Texas. I am from Dallas, Texas and eaten all over Texas and this is by far one of the worst places to eat. Waitress never came to the table once to fill our tea, then we had to wait awhile for another waiter to bring our check. If you end up at this restaurant, stick to the basic dishes, they shouldn't go wrong with that. I also had a bowl of tortilla soup, the size of a cup with a slice a avocado.

Potatoes had no seasoning not even salt I spit it out immediately. The meat tasted rubbery and again no seasoning.

Disappointed. Chips straight from the bag. Salsa, meh. Ordered flautas, got taquitos. Rice and beans... meh.

Service was great and the portion sizes were very good as well. Chips are salsa were warm. Not much heat just okay. We will go back again.

The food was okay. Pretty much similar to any other Mexican restaurant. The cheese enchiladas were good.

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. Just one small thing that's a turn off, never serve a basket with broken and pieces of chips. But I still give you a five! Because I eaten Mexican food from the west to the east and plate knocked it out of the park. to the chef and Wow Juan GREAT SERVICE YOUNG MAN!!!!!

The tacos have been consistently delicious, the macho nachos have been amazing, the beer is cold, and the staff has always been friendly and professional. The atmosphere is really chill and we even have a favorite booth. However, over the past few months, we have noticed a drastic downward trend of both food quality, and availability of menu items. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it has not been an isolated event. They have consistently not had flour tortillas, chicken, steak, or even french fries. Over half of their menu is consistently absent and the food they do have, has been poorly prepared and of cheap quality. I've loved going to the Cantina and do not post this with any feeling of satisfaction. I have not rushed to my keyboard at the first sign of something displeasing. I'm only posting this because I hope the problems can be fixed and the Cantina returns to what everyone has come to expect: great food, great servers, great prices, and a great atmosphere. Until that happens, I can't justify spending money on what is now, a consistently poor culinary experience.
