I did not get any photos of the food once it came out. I got a snapshot of our leftovers by the time I remembered. We met up with family here and got to talking. My apologies! Service was great. Everyone was really nice and attentive. The establishment was pretty clean but they so seem to have a fly problem. A fly landed in my grandfather's tea and drowned in it. They replaced the tea which was fine but it was pretty gross. The food is Tex Mex mid. It's not that bad but not that great either. I got the Flautitas appetizer plate which came with a good amount, and my husband got the Clara's Platter appetizer plate. Everyone else got chicken tacos, huevos rancheros, and enchilada plates. The salsa served with the chips was bad. It's tomato sauce with tobasco sauce or something. Chips were nice and crunchy! Apparently the margaritas were good. We went here tonight for dinner, after church. There were five of us. The service was very fast and the courtesy was excellent with a table visit by the manager. The good was great. Hot, fresh and flavorful. The only comment I would make is if you want a taco salad, go to Rosa's. My salad was good but not what I'm used to. I was very disappointed for the cost of a cookie size scoop of guacamole and the fajita's chicken was chewy like it was premade chicken. Don't expect authentic, because fajita's should not be out in 10 mins and the hot plate wasn't sizzling. I thought maybe they brought out someone else order sent back. And I never had an order of fajitas with slices of potatoes. Guess this is how they cook in West Texas. I am from Dallas, Texas and eaten all over Texas and this is by far one of the worst places to eat. Waitress never came to the table once to fill our tea, then we had to wait awhile for another waiter to bring our check. The restaurant is dirty, the staff are not very friendly, and the food and portions were half what they use to be. Nope these Fajitas were not served on a sizzling skillet but a lukewarm plate with Minute Rice, terrible Refried Beans and warm and slightly browned Guacamole. Can we all say YUM - No we can't - and there was no flavor and what is it with all the potatoes being used as a filler on the plate. My husbands Beef Fajitas - were boring, tasted like a roast - wow - same as mine above = Usually with Fajitas you get cheese, sour cream and other items on the side. Food plates were small. They advertise a tortilla salad. It was a 2" diameter flour tortilla with chicken. I asked to have beans added. The "bowl" was on top of a bed of lettuce and a think smear of beans. I was charged over $3 for the beans. We both drank our water and never got it filled until we asked for the check. The waiter failed to give my husbands credit back to him. We paid at the table. The manager, who sat down with a party who was dining could definitely see we were out of water but he was too busy chatting with that one table to care about the rest of the patrons.
