Our family of 8 met up there on Father's Day for supper. The place was crowded, as we expected, but after about a 10 min wait we were seated & service was provided promptly. Kyler was an excellent waiter & kept us supplied with plenty of delicious chips, salsa & cold drinks--what more could you ask for? All of us had various entrees & the only complaint was that the ground beef on the taco salad was cold. And when we alerted Kyler he corrected this quickly. The fajitas were excellent with a lot of onions & bell peppers. The fajitas for 1 was ordered for 2 people & was sufficient for both of us, even with enough to take home for leftovers. The frozen margaritas were very tasty & paired well with our entrees. Oh, the many pictures of customer's dogs on the walls was a nice homey touch & fun to look at. All in all it was a good Tex-Mex experience for us all & we'll definitely be back. And we'll ask for Kyler if he's available. read more

Awful service feedback regarding our visit to Chuy's in Weatherford today on Father's day around 7pm. I have heard negative things about this location on the Weatherford Facebook page, and the choice was between Cheddar's, and Chuy's, my family suggested Cheddar's, and I chose to dine with you, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing due to poor service from Ryanne N. regarding the following issues during my visit: Slow, and inattentive service to the point that we had to flag down another server over to our table minutes after the disappearanceof our server, even though the restaurant did not appear overly busy. But the icing on the cake was that when she finally came and asked if we were okay, and i made her aware of substandard service, and told her that my food arrived cold, incorrect, and poorly prepared "tortilla torn to shreds,and soggy from being 8n the window too long. She became rude, and defensive statind " I have been doing TOGO Orders this whole time, and I'm tired" her arrogance, and inability to hear feedback changed the mood of the whole table. Her manager came and offered to swap the order for something else but by then the rest of the table were done and the vibe had changed. Never did we get an apologetic comment. So with that said i wish i had chosen Cheddar's since they dont have a problem with brown people over there. The lack of professionalism, and Staff arrogance is a problem that you guys need to fix at once because never have we dined in a place with such subtle defensive server as we did with Ryanne As a paying customer, I expect a basic standard of hospitality and efficiency, just like anyone else butthe poor experience significantly detracted from what was meant to be an enjoyable evening. We went here after church tonight at about 6:30. There was 7 of us. Our waitress (Gretchen) was amazing. There was not one thing that she could have done better. My wife and I had fajita quesadillas and there were great. Of course I couldn't eat both of mine because our chip basket was never empty although I tried. Hey is there anything that is going to knock your socks off here? No, but it's very solid service with solid food. Had the queso and the chicken soft tacos. Queso was creamy with great flavor. They start off with chips and hot sauce which is always a bonus! The food does not disappoint. There is plenty to fill you up. Gretchen was our waitress and she did an exceptional job making sure that all went well. The decorations and atmosphere is welcoming and fun to explore. read more

Grabbed Sunday lunch recently. I have been to a few Chuy's before, but it has been a while. It was fairly busy, but we were seated almost immediately. It was bustling with families with small children, so it seems to be a great, lively place to be. Our waitress took a while to get to us, but when she did, she was helpful and nice. I got the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchilada and my partner got the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken. Everything was seasoned well, though I'm not a fan of the chips and 'salsa' which I also think it's more like a pico de gallo. Overall, I think it was a pretty good experience to try. read more

Chuy's in Hudson Oaks never misses! I've been several times since they opened, and the food and service are always consistently great. I've also ordered through DoorDash a few times, and every single order has arrived fresh, delicious, and just as good as dining in. The restaurant itself is super eclectic and fun with a great vibe, and there's always good music playing in the background, which adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend trying the queso--it's a must! And if you're a margarita fan, the strawberry one is perfection. Definitely one of my go-to spots. The food was ok not the best but not the worst. The service was absolutely terrible. We got on the waitlist and they said should be about 30 minutes and we will come get you. No one came so we go back in about 40 minutes later to be told we were kicked off the list and would need to keep waiting for a table. We get seated and our waitress Aramee came by the table maybe 3 times. We went most of the time with no chips and empty drinks. The food runner Madelyn was outstanding. I was so excited when this location opened. It's literally 5 miles from my son's house. We decided to go try it out knowing it was going to be packed. It only took 30 minutes to get in and we were able to go order drinks at the bar while we waited. They had plenty of seating for waiting. I got the Mexican martini which was really it was it came in a shaker and therefore you had several drinks in one. It was very cumbersome though since we were not at a table, so I drank the first one and opened the shaker and dumped my lime and jalapeño stuffed olives into the shaker and put the top back on it and put a straw in. It worked great! Ha ha We ordered a loaded queso that was so good. We also ordered our old reliable chica chica boom boom which absolutely did not disappoint! We also got a single taco. It was all very very good. We were not very impressed with our waitress. We had to tell her several times when we needed more chips and hot sauce along with napkins. I know they were busy, but it was really bad. I will definitely revise my review when I go again. Hopefully service will be better. read more

I recently visited the new Chuy's location, having been to other Chuy's a couple of times before. Honestly, this visit didn't quite live up to the hype I had heard from friends who love the place. Maybe it's just me, but there were a few things that didn't wow me. For starters, their salsa was more like a pico de gallo. While the flavor was great, it was watery, which isn't something I enjoy, so things started off a bit rocky. Another small annoyance was not having salt for the chips or sweetener for tea on the table. Having to flag down a server just to get salt packets seemed odd, though I will give credit to the staff for keeping the chip basket full throughout the meal. I ordered the combo fajitas, and they were good--better than many other places I've tried. The rice and beans were served in generous portions, and the beans, in particular, were really tasty. The tortillas were fresh, warm, and they provided a good number to start with, which I appreciated. Nothing worse than ordering fajitas and only getting a couple of tortillas, so they got that right. The atmosphere is bright, fun, and upbeat, almost bordering on funky. It has a cool family vibe that I can see appealing to a wide range of people. The service was solid. Despite some minor issues, I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. read more

The service was horrible!! Our server Kiersten was a ditz. Took over 15 minutes in the restaurant to get any drinks to us (there were about 5 other tables in there). The same Lady said i look like i would want the 12 inch burrito and not the 6. Everyone else was amazing the manager was helpful after i ordered guacamole and it came out 8 minutes after our food so she took it off. she also continued to tell my 13-year-old daughter that she could not have a kids menu because she had to be 12. so I got up and the hostess gave me a kids menu very grateful for her. I really enjoyed the steak burrito with the hatch green chile sauce. I like hot and this did not disappoint. I would suggest having the queso on it instead if you are not a spicy type person. My second favorite item is the Elvis combo, but you better be hungry. My wife's favorite is the fajitas beef quesadillas. The jalapeño ranch sauce is awesome and we prefer it over the chunky style hot sauce (more like pico). You have to ask for the jalapeño ranch but it is free. The service is good, not exceptional we have been over half a dozen times and the restaurant has always been clean. It is noisy due to the concrete floors and nothing really to absorb the sound. This is my second trip to Chuy's in 2 months. First was fantastic except for one detail. Party of six long time TexMex connoisseurs. Salsa was VERY salty to all. Other than that 5 stars for food/service. Today four of us returned. Everyone tried 2 chips w/ salsa and all agreed it was even more salty than previous visit. It was disgusting. Called waitress over. She replaced immediately. Same. So she brought out several hot sauces that dress meals. We decided on one and she brought several more cups. Food was delicious once again. Margaritas were very nice. We licked the salted rims to tame the terrible salty salsa. Would be delighted to give this place a 5+. But you have to have good chips/hot sauce to be considered good Mexican restaurant in Texas. I know we are not the only people to have brought this up with wait staff and management. I have been to several Chuy's, in several cities and states. It is a wonderful corporation chain restaurant. Chuy's does not disappoint if you want a consistency as the brand is just about any other Tex-Mex chain. Portions are large and the food is bland to appeal to the masses. The drinks are pricey, but it's a fun noisy place to go. Chuy's seem to always have a nice patio to escape the noise. It's a well oil machine cranking out your dinner in a few minutes. Go and enjoy.
