Came here after being out on Saturday and was impressed. I was glad they were open a little bit later than other places and the staff was helpful with questions that we had about the menu. Ultimate nachos with 3 different types of meat, not bad for the $25 plus drink. The issue was that the meat wasn't seasoned, bland. And the others that were with said the same thing, no taste to the meat. The peach tea didn't have hardly any peach flavor to it. Great place for a taco in Brock. Cool vibe with indoor TV's and outdoor play are for kids as well as plenty of seating. Service was excellent with great recommendations and suggestions for a newbie. I don't understand how the rating is great here when the food is HORRIBLE! It's only getting a one star for the drinks. Let me start off with their fajita fries, the fries were NOT thoroughly cooked in which is tasted frozen in the middle. Their shrimp tacos tasted like they just finished thawing with no seasoning, gross! The shredded chicken taco with a cold corn tortilla was even worst. I'm not sure what was in the chicken taco but it lead me to food poisoning! Do not trust a local who doesn't know "authentic" Mexican food. read more

We live half a mile up the road so we were VERY hopeful and excited to have a new place in town. We went on opening day and expected there to be hiccups but not to the extreme we experienced. We arrived at 6pm for dinner and ordered our food right away. You have to order your drinks at the bar and food at the other counter. We stood in line for about 10 mins for drinks and they were pretty good for being premixed. We waited around 35-40 mins to get our chips and queso which we thought was absolutely insane! We had our one year old with us and sat on the patio because they told us it was going to be about a 40 min wait for our food. Fast forward TWO hours and still no sign of our food. Our son was over it at that point so my husband took him home while I waited. By 9pm I asked the bartender if our order had even been started yet to which she replied "no". They gave me a refund and I left. The next two occasions they were out of a lot so we couldn't order what we wanted and then they got the order wrong. On top of that, most of our tacos were cold on all three occasions. The ambiance inside is cool. It's a fun hangout and the patio is great so it stinks that the food and service isn't great. Hopefully with time they will iron out their service and kinks. read more

Since there are no places to eat in that part of town they do have the monopoly. The food is way overpriced and service "spotty". Kids run rampant (but they do hv an outside area for them) but it's a very safe environment. It's definitely a local hangout and comfortable. Plenty of parking and the bar is well stocked. Hungry Jalapeño doesn't overdue the "Tex-mex," while still offering the staple brisket mixed in, so in our humble opinion- it's b o m b. Great food - super fast. Fast casual so you order at the counter. Appetizers delivered pretty much by the time you sit down. Favorite was my taco salad in a crunchy tortilla bowl, fave taco was the "Cussing Cowboy" Taco with brisket, candied jalapenos, pickled red onions, cotija cheese. Also like the Surf & Turf (skirt steak with grilled shrimp), Queso and chips are bomb! Coconut margarita is great, cold beer on tap, bottled beer, sodas, atmosphere is great, kids love it, dog friendly patio and had live music on the weekends. read more

Wanted to try this restaurant since it's the closest to our home. When we walked in, the employees were cleaning while waiting for more customers. Since it was our first visit, we had questions. Employees were very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. We had chicken quesadilla, Bajaja tacos, and queso and chips. All was good flavor and great portions for the price. Regular and peach margaritas were good. Fast service. Indoor and outdoor seating. We will go back. Highly recommend. read more
