Excellent little spot! The customer service is on point and the service is quick! Highly recommend the asada tacos and the deep blue! The kids nuggets and kids b&c burrito are kid approved! To finish it off, you have to get an order of funnel fries.

What a gem of a place! Just down the road from HS stadium. Eat more tacos is my life goal. I wish my town had a place like this. Prices are decent. Selection is diverse! Looking forward to coming back(34 min drive) and trying more items. Pictured Brisket popper taco and Tika taco.

Baja Cowboy? Not sure but very good.

Great place for a taco in Brock. Cool vibe with indoor TV's and outdoor play are for kids as well as plenty of seating. Service was excellent with great recommendations and suggestions for a newbie. I ordered the taco of the week - Coconut Shrimp Cowboy taco with mango salsa as well as another cowboy taco with brisket and candied jalapeños... both were delicious!

Ultimate nachos with 3 different types of meat

Ultimate nachos with 3 different types of meat, not bad for the $25 plus drink. The issue was that the meat wasn't seasoned, bland. And the others that were with said the same thing, no taste to the meat. The peach tea didn't have hardly any peach flavor to it. The waitress were good, except no one knew how to turn the heater off outside sitting area. I mean actual heater, not temperature heat.

Tacos are great I like the shrimp ones. Grilled. Also the beef ones with slaw and pico. Chips and salsa are also very good.

The food was good but the prices! Not used to paying $12 bucks for 1 taco. Don't think I'll be back.

The food was okay. It wasn't somewhere I would go back to but everyone has different tastes in food.

My husband and I moved to Mineral Wells almost a year ago and have been wanting to check this…read morerestaurant out for some time. I'd heard so many good things about it... and read many positive reviews. We drive past it on a regular basis and kept saying we needed to go soon. Finally on Valentines Day, I took my dear spousal unit out to dinner and that was where we went. Parking is great. We both have a few minor mobility issues but were able to park right out front. We walked into a tiny, intimate eatery with a definite Tex-Mex vibe. I didn't count the tables but I don't think there were more than a dozen, only two occupied. We were seated and given menus along with time to peruse them. The woman who waited on our table was busy but still gave us excellent service. I ordered fajitas; my husband chose barbacoa. While we waited, we munched on standard chips and salsa. The plates came out hot and steaming, and smelling good. My fajitas were served on a traditional small iron skillet and looked delicious. The taste was pretty good however, the meat -- even the chicken -- was unexpectedly tough. I took most of it home in a box and ended up tossing it in the trash. My husband said the barbacoa was horribly greasy. Again, the taste was okay but the meat swimming in grease was just too much. He said the beans and rice were fine. In addition, we were seated near the bathrooms... and wow, did it ever smell like it! Not what you want to smell when you're eating dinner. Unfortunately, I don't expect we'll be returning to Mi Fiesta. I really wanted to like them but it just didn't happen.

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. Just one small thing that's a turn off, never serve a basket with broken and pieces of chips. But I still give you a five! Because I eaten Mexican food from the west to the east and plate knocked it out of the park. to the chef and Wow Juan GREAT SERVICE YOUNG MAN!!!!!

We came here after a full day of biking, hiking, and kayaking at Lake Mineral Wells State Park,…read morewhere we were camping (keeping with our tradition of getting Tex-Mex for dinner after such excursions). Taqueria La Estrella has a high ranking, so we came in with high hopes. It's got that typical small town Texas restaurant vibe, and the chips and salsa were great, and you even get your own little personal salsa bowl, which was a nice touch. The margaritas (giant glasses) were also solid. Unfortunately, after that, everything was downhill. The queso was gloop with ground beef mush served on top. The lime chicken cilantro wasn't bad, but it was just very uninspired. We appreciated that there were cooked zucchini and squash on the side, but the chicken itself was really dry and we did not see any cilantro to speak of! The El Tejano was a combo plate that did not showcase much: the hard taco was basically just more slop in a shell and the enchilada was just covered in the queso goop and nothing else. Beans and rice were whatevs. Our daughter's cheese quesadilla kid's plate was as you would expect given the above. Our server was a nice kid, but it was clear that he was new because he didn't really seem like he knew the menu. But he was attentive enough. Anyway, we weren't expecting fireworks in Mineral Well, so this place pretty much lived up to expectations. Three stars.
