What started as a stressful situation turned into a smooth and surprisingly positive experience thanks to this contractor. He handled everything from insulation to drywall repair and repainting, and the quality of the work is outstanding. The drywall looks flawless--you'd never even know there was damage to begin with--and the paint job came out clean, even, and professional throughout the entire area. What really stood out was his attention to detail and communication. He kept me updated every step of the way, showed up on time, and made sure everything was done right, not rushed. He also took the time to protect the surrounding areas and left the space clean when the job was finished, which I really appreciated. If you're in Santa Clarita and need any drywall, insulation, or paint work--especially after something like water damage--I highly recommend him. It's not easy to find someone this reliable and skilled. Definitely someone I would hire again without hesitation.

On the initial consult, Dave came by and watered down various areas surrounding the leak to try and determine where the leak was coming from. Although the exact cause wasn't determined, he recommended coming back to take out some stucco and further investigate. He assured me that he would be able to fix the problem, and he did! Upon bringing his guys and removing some stucco, he determined that the problem was around the nail of my expansion joint. He was able to fix the problem and now.... no more leak!!!! So thankful I found this guy after going through a few others initially... Dave was able to give me a reasonable estimate on Day 1, and was super responsive whenever I called/texted him. He is extremely friendly, and was able to give me updates during the job to actually show me what was being worked on. He and his team cleaned up well, and were really a pleasure to work with. Thank God there are still some guys like Dave around! He's a fair, honest, and straightforward guy to work with. I will definitely use him in the future if needed, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for stucco work. Thanks again Dave- you are awesome!!

I love it when a guy comes over and talks me out of doing expensive work . He offered a much better solution than plastic paint ("Cool Life" or "Texicote") and explained exactly why. While he was here, he also offered solutions to our old garage that needs to be rebuilt. I never knew you could just rebuild the very top of a structure. I always thought you had to knock the while thing down. He also offered advice on our water drainage from the roof. Then he promised to send me some contacts for people who could do the work if I wanted to, but again told me nothing structural is going on, so we don't have to. He didn't charge a fee. But its my policy that everybody's time is worth money. He refused the amount I was originally going to give him and took a lesser amount. Finally, he said he owns a Dodge Dart!! We were originally…read morelooking for someone to repair and resurface our aging (read: 1970s), cracked stucco so it would have a smoother texture. We also needed someone to paint the entire house, including the eaves, wood windows, trim, and exterior doors. As the project progressed, we also added on removing a window, re-siding the back of our house (a long wall without stucco), installing a new back door, and replacing our old garage door with a brand new one. Through all these changes, Daniel and sons rolled with the punches and delivered an absolutely gorgeous end product. They even consulted on paint colors, and I could not be more satisfied with the results. As a bonus, Daniel and his sons are just the nicest people you'll meet (and you will meet ALL four sons). I'm originally from the Midwest, and they reminded me of everyone I know from back home - friendly, honest, and always up for a chat. We received three bids for painting the interior of our home, and choosing Martin Carabajal…read morePainting turned out to be the right decision. Martin made a commitment that the project would be completed within two weeks. One of my longtime service mottos is "under commit and over deliver," and Martin's team delivered. The attention to detail impressed us. One painter in particular was such a perfectionist that I watched him run his hand over the walls looking for imperfections from previous paint jobs that needed attention. I started calling him "Mr. Majestic." That level of pride in workmanship says a lot about the crew. Martin also made the process easier from the beginning. We were comparing three contractors, and he included proof of insurance with his proposal without making me chase it down. A neighbor had also recommended him on Nextdoor, and her comments gave us additional confidence that he was the right fit for our project. The crew worked hard, moved furniture as necessary, did an excellent job cleaning up, and even helped rehang pictures. At the end of the project, they left us enough touch-up paint to take care of the inevitable scratches and scuffs that we homeowners will create ourselves. One of the best parts of the project was something we hadn't expected. Martin included a professional Dunn-Edwards color consultation as part of the job. Our consultant, Asia, helped us sort through recommendations from friends and our own endless opinions and guided us to Ball of String. The finished color brightened our home beautifully. And providing a professional paint designer as part of the project may have saved my marriage! Anyone who has tried to get two people to agree on an entire houseful of paint colors will understand. There is one thing Martin and I both probably should have discussed more--the color on the stairwell. We're replacing our front entry door, and I decided to wait rather than spend the additional money now. In hindsight, I was being "penny wise and pound foolish." That's on me as much as anyone. Once the new front door is installed and we've settled on its color, Martin will be the person I call to come back and finish the stairwell the way it should be. The finished interior looks great, Martin kept his commitment, and the crew's workmanship, attention to detail and cleanup were excellent. Perhaps the best recommendation I can give is that I already know who I'll be calling for the next phase of the project.
