This food is off-the-chain amazing!! My party ordered 3 different menu items and they were equally good. And the ladies in my party know how to prepare good food! The ladies who took our order were super helpful. We sat outside at a picnic table, but it was a beautiful sunny day at 82°.

Hands down *100! Please go for the soup, salad and sandwich Olympic! Will absolutely visit again. Great job girls!

Menu (October 2023) side 1

I ordered a "build your own" sandwich. It was good, not great. The sourdough bread was dry. It appeared maybe it had been frozen and thawed (not sure). Ingredients were fresh and the location was super clean. Sandwich seemed a tad spendy for what I got. Next time, I'll order one of their grilled speciality sandwiches. When in doubt, order one of the popular menu items. Gals were nice.

Little drive up window.

On our way home from Rockaway, headed east, my crew needed to get lunch. Any plans I had to go in somewhere nice to eat were foiled by the sandy, wet, bedraggled beach bum condition of two tired, cranky, cold, starving teenagers. They were not really presentable to go in somewhere and we were outta clean clothes. Sigh. The tired snacks in the car were not gonna cut it. Fast food sounded bad, going into Freddy's did not appeal either. Hmm. Yelp to the rescue! And GPS. This little drive up serves cheffy soups, sandwiches, salads, and sides across from Tillamook Hospital. I imagine they get a lot of business from hospital employees. I hope so. I want them to do well. Early afternoon on Friday they were not too busy. We ordered two bowls of soup ($5 ea), the special sandwich of the day ($10), and 3 water bottles ($1 ea). You order at one window then drive around to the other side to wait for/ receive your food. There is a picnic table on site we were fortunate enough to snag, and the chef allowed one of us to use the restroom in the storage trailer. -The clam chowder arrived with oyster crackers and was deemed good by the BFF. -The sausage pasta soup arrived piping hot, had a little topping of herbs, and after Princess fetched the Parmesan she was hiding in the car she was a happy camper. She did think it needed a piece of bread. -My sandwich came on Texas toast ( next time I'd look at different bread) and had roasted butternut squash, some kind of herby cheese mixture, and some other unidentifiable yummy stuff. To be honest after nailing down the kid's choices I just ordered fast and the squash caught my eye. It was tasty if a little smaller than I expected from the photos of other people's sandwiches.I was not super hungry though so that was ok. I got to choose a side ( potato, pasta, or green salad or chips) and the chosen homemade potato salad was on point. We would completely come here again. It was really good food and so nice to eat something kind of healthy and normal for a change ( Princess' soup was the hands down favorite). It is a little off the beaten path but very worth looking for.

You can purchase in the gift shop and feed the animals outside. There's a donkey, goats, geese, and a few other others. I enjoy feeding them. The only problem this trip was I had my dog with me and he got a little crazy at the fence line. Part of the fence has chicken wire across the bottom but part of it doesn't and of course that's the part. My dog found it jumped inside. It was funny, not funny. Gift shop is great. I really miss going up and down the aisles and finding the pretzel sticks and samples of what's on the shelf. It was a good thing to look forward to and I enjoyed it. If you're in Tillamook, I would stop in. It's a great place for kids and picnic outside. There's also a separate candy shop on the premises. Great candy and some old school stuff that I had not seen in quite some time.

The property has a lot to offer, including a small petting farm, a gift shop, and an eatery all in one place. The paninis were especially delicious and definitely worth trying. As for the wine tasting, the selection was great and I still enjoyed the experience overall. However, the bartender wasn't very friendly or knowledgeable, which took away slightly from the experience. Even so, it was a fun stop with plenty to see and experience. I do recommend over other popular cheese factories in the area.

Date of visit: May 10, 2026…read more If you're visiting Portland, this is a bit of a drive, and can be harrowing for those that are not a fan of heights, but it is worth the trip to see their impressive operation and try some amazing dairy products. I was looking forward to the ice cream all day and it definitely didn't disappoint! I had a Salty Caramel Pretzel shake and it was quite possibly the highlight of the entire trip to Oregon! We did the self-guided tour and for the low low price of free 99, it was amazing. The large windows and clear explanation made it easy to follow the process from start to finish; can't say I've ever seen 40 pound blocks of cheese before! Before the ice cream, we split the grilled cheese and mac and cheese, both being very good. The fries that accompanied the sandwich though, were unremarkable. Why they don't serve them as cheese fries I will never understand. I wanted to go five stars here but the staff could be better. It's great that they seem to hire so much local youth, but there didn't seem to be anyone supervising or helping direct traffic, resulting in the indoor ice cream line being 15 people deep and the outside line being empty, with staff just standing around talking about their relationship woes (this I tell you from firsthand experience) instead of helping out in other places where it's needed. The cashier in the gift shop seemed to be personally offended that we were keeping her from her Instagram...

As a self proclaimed clam chowder connoisseur I take the hunt for delicious clam chowder throughout…read morethe PNW coastal area very seriously. Each beach town my husband I travel to, I spend far too much time reading reviews about clam chowder. If only I spent as much energy in other areas of my life as I do "internet-researching" clam chowder, who knows what I could accomplish. I must say that the clam chowder at Werner Beef & Brew is exactly what I have been hunting for. It is the perfect texture and consistency. It has a spectacular balance of clam to potato ratio, and the potatoes are cooked to perfection. They don't have too much bite, nor do they disintegrate into mush the moment they enter your mouth. The chowder itself was worth traveling from Rockaway to Tillamook for. It was even worth a more industrial view vs. an establishment with a more coastal and picturesque backdrop. The salad bar was on point. The variety of salad add-ins, dressings, and topping crunchy-bits were epic. It was a nice balance to the very rich perfect chowder I am already missing. I miss it. I miss the chowder. My husband also got the fish tacos, based on others' reviews and enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed their Dragon Fruit Cider, and he ordered one of their Meaty Bloody Mary's. If you are on the fence if you should order one, you should. You should get that bloody mary. The bloody mary then led us to purchase some of their salami and bologna. It was an elevated version of the sandwich meat my grandpa used with white bread, yellow mustard (off-brand), ice burg lettuce, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Mid-life has me craving nostalgia. It might be the hormone imbalance, but salami white bread sandwiches, here I come.
