And I'm so glad they did because the Cookies & Cream Croffle with a scoop of Cookies & Cream ice cream on the side was the perfect sweet treat to end the night. The croffle was delicious, the ice cream was great, and the whole combination hit the spot. Miss Oz is such a cute, quality little dessert shop. Definitely make this a stop during your trip to Portland if you're looking for something sweet and a little different from the average ice cream shop.

The shop itself is pretty much standing-room-only, with no tables inside, but there's a large plaza and alley area right outside where you can sit or stand and enjoy your doughnuts. There's lot of art on the walls and a huge doughnut art piece hanging from the ceiling. Just outside the front door is the Ankeny Alley Stage, a small outdoor stage where buskers, bands, and other performers provide live entertainment. A nearby sign features a QR code with the performance schedule. During my visit, a musician was riffing on his guitar. Seemed as though he was warming up and he was really good!
