Fun, pink sunglasses for the summer!
Vivian H.

I was walking around from DTPHX up into this area and randomly stumbled on this very cute store that carries a lot of vintage, retro and unique pieces. I know about Cobra Arcade next door but when I saw a sign at the corner with an arrow pointing to a store called Antique Sugar, my curiosity got the best of me and I came in to check this place out! I loved the store and all the unique pieces they have, especially all the different kind of hats! I saw one hat that was an old flight attendant style hat and really really liked it! I needed a pair of sunglasses so got a fun pair here, but no idea if they are going to protect me from the UV rays. I'll definitely come back here again as I love their one of a kind finds!

Belt and postcard

The selection was very unique and the service was amazing. The woman at the cash register was super sweet and helpful. I got a vintage leather belt for $28 and it was a great price for the item I bought. They also have old postcards. Wish it wasn't $5 but still, it was a very unique and well-curated selection.

Best place to spend the afternoon! They had a large selection of antique dresses, coats, tops, skirts, and pants from all eras. I bought an antique 60s dress and a 70s dress. I also got a jacket that was made in the 70s! The employees here were so kind and let us spent most of our afternoon looking and trying things on. Antiques like these do come with a high price however! So beware to spend a lot or just look around.

Kicking myself for not coming sooner some I've frequented the area for years. The second I walked in it was like home. Service was fantastic and the girls working made it so fun just to chat and shop. Such a cool mix of clothing, jewelry and even some home decor in little doses. I loved the stickers and I'll definitely have to come beck soon with my daughter who loves vintage clothes so much. Everything was in great condition and prices fair for what you're purchasing. Located in the best part of downtown Phoenix in my opinion. So much to do and so many things to try on! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Gorgeous 1950s prom dress. She's mine and is coming home with me :)

Within walking distance from the convention center! Being that these are true vintage pieces, you are going to spend some money. Comparable prices to what may be on Etsy or eBay. The ladies working were very kind, helped zip me up into the dress I tried on. I don't know if this is common practice for this store, but they are even shipping my purchase to me as I don't have room to bring it home! They even have a sale rack in the back with some really good deals

Halloween display.

As mentioned in other reviews, there's ample parking and usually homeless people outside. They haven't bothered me or other patrons. There's a bathroom that requires a passcode, probably as an anti-homeless measure... I'm not sure how large other Goodwills tend to be, but I'm always able to walk out of the store with something decent. I've purchased bowls and dishes for about $1/piece, dresses for $8 avg, skirts for about $7 avg, tops for $6 avg. I've even purchased 2 suit sets for $10 each -- 100% silk and 100% wool respectively! Always happy with my experience at this store, although it's more expensive than I'd like a thrift store to be (then again maybe that's just the world we live in, in general). Note: if you donate a bag of clothes, you can get a 20% off coupon, although sometimes the cashier hooks me up with the coupon anyway!
