They've been in business for 34 years so they know exactly what they're looking for when taking in items and have a great selection at all times, as a result! If you are interested in selling them your women's clothing, the boutique expect's all incoming items to arrive dry cleaned and on a hanger. The store is located on 3 levels with sales upstairs, as well as hand bags, stunning shoes and boots, gowns, caocktail dresses and more. The main floor has new arrivals and tonnes of designer brands from around the globel; Gucci, Chanel, Prada and on and on. Some items cost hundreds of dollars but are a fraction of the regular price and sometimes, hot off the runway. This floor also has a great collection of designer hand bags, shoes and jewellery, the most exclusive of which are always located at the front counter, where you may ask to see them! 2nd Nature really is a gem, I would give the store a perfect 5 except for the staff. Their customer service can be very good but it really depends who's serving you and some store staff and clientelle alike can be rude. I think being surrounded by stunning Jimmy Cho's all day might go to their heads a little bit- LOL

I phoned again 2 months ago, left a message complaining about the poor service and finally had a call back. They claimed that no one got my messages which I find hard to believe as I was very clear in my messages, leaving my call back number and name, and description of items. Talked with one salesperson and she told me that she would get back to me when they located the items but, they are extremely busy with consignments so it may take some time. I am still waiting. My feeling is, they cannot find my earrings or, they did not sell in due time so they sent them, who knows where? I will not recommend consigning your goods here as they appear to be evasive.

*** PLEASE READ IN FULL - WARNING TO CONSIGNORS ***…read more If you are considering consigning items, just be mindful to exercise due diligence, especially with Eva, the owner. I do not want others to experience what happened to me. Back in January 2016, I brought in a Furla bag, some Coach bags, a lot of pairs of designer jeans (many were brand new with tags), a new pair of Brian Atwood boots and a gorgeous, new Laundry by Shelli Segal black leather motorcycle jacket that was buttery soft. The bags sold quickly but the other items lingered around for a while. Eva told me just to keep everything there because they were high-end items and would eventually sell. Some of the jeans were listed on average $85.00 a pair but, contrary to the agreement, my cut ended up only being about $12.00 a pair. When I inquired, I was told that the jeans in question were put on clearance. Regardless, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued to leave my items there. In early October, I emailed Eva to advise that I no longer wanted my boots and leather jacket available for sale; however, there was no response. Three days later, I received notification that she sold my boots for $18.00. Again, I gave her the benefit of the doubt but decided to send her another email requesting again that she refrain from selling my leather jacket - no answer. Then I called and Eva's daughter answered but could not get me off the phone fast enough as she claimed the store was so busy. I told her I was on my way to pick up my leather jacket but she reluctantly agreed, saying that it normally takes 48 hour for her to pull it. Anyway, my two friends and I went straight over and we noticed Eva's daughter could not make eye contact with me. Instead, she went down to the basement for about three minutes and then advised that, because the jacket had been there since January, they donated it to charity and, apparently, that was part of the "agreement." I was upset but I figured if I did not thoroughly read the agreement then I was obviously at fault. My friends and I continued to look around the store and noticed almost all my jeans were still upstairs. When we went to the basement, we noticed a few more pairs and then became suspicious. Why would my leather jacket be donated to charity and not the jeans? I called Eva a few days later expressing my concerns. She too could not get me off the phone fast enough. Later that night, she called me back to advise that the jacket was stolen and, because she (not me) was at a loss, would only reimburse me $33.00; albeit, the jacket was listed for $298.00. She said she put the jacket down in the basement in clearance for 75% off and still took a cut for my item being stolen. In addition, I have never seen any new with tags leather jackets down in the basement! A few days later, I was notified that I only got $4.00 for a pair of my brand new with tags 7 for All Mankind jeans. I immediately called to have the account closed and arranged to pick up my stuff. When I arrived, one of the sales women (who was quite genuine) could not find it. I called Eva a few days later and, rather than take responsibility for everything that went wrong, she put blame on her staff. Nice. What upsets me the most is that I referred friends to Eva and initially spoke very highly of her. The fact that she chose greed over maintaining a good relationship is disgusting. The bottom line is that although I have no proof that she was involved in the theft of my jacket and was selling items under the guise of them being discounted to rock-bottom prices, isn't the writing on the wall? I would not be surprised if her store was eventually featured on Pat Foran's segment on CTV News.

Now this Canadian brand has really exploded, with many styles going viral on the web. The quality of the clothes has noticeably depreciated while the prices steadily increase. But it remains one of the few shops that carries pieces that are small enough to fit me, and embodies the simultaneous sexy and sophisticated look I aspire to. I popped into this Queens st location with a group of ladies, and we rationalized our purchases by telling ourselves it costs less to shop at this brand in Canada than in the US. While I am slowly working my way away from fast fashion, I definitely pick up pieces here and there that I wear for years.

While I am not traditional-sized, I am in the Aritzia size range and have never had an issue finding the Butter line in my size, which is 12-16 depending on the store. I wasn't shocked to see most of the items here at this location are medium, small, or X-small. All of that is fine, and I get it. What I don't get is the need for your staff to be so deeply unpleasant and unprofessional. I was with my partner, and we both made attempts to ask for help in finding a size. One staff member kept avoiding me, and even when I made eye contact and asked for help, she kept pretending like she didn't see me. Another one literally looked me up and down, like full read, and smiled and loudly said, "We don't have your size here." I said fair enough and went on my way. When I was leaving, some bleach-blond person almost hit me with a door and straight up just stood there giving me a dirty look. The security here is nicer than the staff. Luckily, in Toronto we have a lot of little boutiques around the city that specialize plus size. Gussied Up has been around for a few years in Toronto and even has a store in Vaughan. She obviously curates her store to carry great, special pieces and has a variety of classic and basic pieces as well as more higher label pieces that are seldom available to find in Canada. Even today, I popped in after not visiting in a while and Anna, the shop girl, was super patient, attentive and a great help in finding me suggestions.
