i have been shopping here for the past several years and have spent a fair amount of money. the…read morestaff are very helpful, especially jenny. the problem i have is with judy. she is a Pollyanna rescuer. she gets involved with her customers on a very personal level. her husband is a man who has anorexia nervosa , ADHD and obsessive-compulsive disorder, how do i know this judy told me. her daughters also have severe psychiatric disorders and how do i know this because judy told me. she showers people with compliments and gets personally involved with her customers. i have waited a long time to write this review for fear of not being taken seriously. i feel jenny does not speak up for fear of reprisal. i fear jenny does not want to rock the boat or want to ignite bad blood. judy needs to keep her personal business out of the running of the store and stop airing her dirty laundry to her customers, i have not shopped at errieta in a long time and don't expect to in the future.

This shop isn't a large shop but they manage to pack a lot of things in here. Besides the ladies clothing they also have things like wallets, bags, jewellery & some kitchen stuff (mugs, linens). Their winter scarves & gloves were on sale so I got a very pretty blue scarf too! I'd never heard of this store before as I don't frequent the Danforth area much. But I'm glad I came here after my friend recommended it. This is the kind of store I like to support. Ironically they carry one of the brands I like: Blue Sky Clothing. It's in a bit of a strip kind of mall with a full parking lot off to the side; no street parking - thank God! First, I must say, I'm not a huge fan of the brand because it's always been very matronly/older lady styles but I could always use office clothes at a decent price. A former colleague (older lady) used to go to the outlet in Vaughan and come back and bragged about getting five items for $120; maybe because this location is The Kingsway so it's far from those prices. It's very neat and organized inside with a lot of sales people vying for business. Some clothing was 50% off but it still wasn't cheap; a lot of regular priced items too. I went to get a nice charcoal grey skirt but I realized at $89 (not on sale) so I just passed because I knew I could get it something else for less money. I did end up getting an asymmetrical skirt by Nine West (pic doesn't do it justice) for $37 taxes in (regular ticketed price was $89); since it was clearance, no refunds. I will definitely go back but, to reiterate, no rock bottom prices.

I had never been in this shop before, but, as an avid fan of Le Labo products, wanted to drop-in and take a look. My first impression was that it is well organized. Since I was the only customer present, it was very calm (I assumed only one customer would be allowed in at a time due to the store being so small). The sole millennial blonde working there was texting on her phone as I entered and as I said hello she said "hi" in return. Her demeanour was palpably disinterested. It was clear she would really rather not be there. She was lackadaisical, generally, with a flat affect that seemed to suggest she felt she was above working in this position and would, frankly, prefer if customers would not show up so she could proceed with sitting down and doing whatever it was she was doing on her cell phone . I proceeded to tell her the exact product I was looking for. She found it and asked if it was a gift. I said it wasn't and she looked genuinely relieved to not have to gift wrap it. I then asked her about a series of products that I hadn't tried before as I was curious about their scent. She then proceeded to spray a number of these scents onto pieces of paper and then handed them to me. She didn't write down what any of them were, however, and, honestly, by the time I walked home and took them out of my bag, they all smelled the same. I had no way of knowing what was what. At a certain point I noticed someone standing in the doorway of the shop. Wondering if I was taking too long and holding up other customers I said "I'm sorry, I should hurry up here." To which she rolled her eyes and said "It's fine - it's just the cleaner". It's difficult to encapsulate the disdain with which she said this and it made me feel very uneasy. It was at this point I decided I would not be returning to this store. It was then I said I would like to take my product, pay, and be on my way - and THIS is the best part: She replies: "Fine, I can ring you up over here - for your ONE product - after ALL those testers." You know what, young lady? You have deplorable customer service. And worse than that, you are genuinely unkind. I spent $150 on a balm for myself, as a treat, because I am going through a really hard time at the moment. You made me feel small. You made me feel bad for the cleaner who you dismissed with such disdain as he stood in the cold. You made me feel bad for the business owner(s) of this establishment, who probably worked really hard to get this business up and running. I am certain this is not the kind of experience they envisioned for any of their customers. I sincerely hope you take some time to self-reflect and reconsider your behaviour moving forward. The way you conduct yourself is a disservice to the business and it is a disservice to yourself.
