So bad I don't know where to begin. Not recommended for buying or selling. I have tried three times to sell very clean, excellent condition, fashionable items including designer, and they have literally rejected everything each time after making me wait 45 minutes. In that time I browse the store, and their stock is often worn, dirty, and in poor condition with odd pricing. A ripped canvas pouch is $11 while a leather coat with genuine fur trim is $30? And yet my brand name and designer items are rejected. I'm happy to tell anyone how bizarre this place has been, including the rude staff. Edit: they offered to buy one mint condition designer item for $150, which would have sold for $900 retail second-hand. I turned around and sold it to Oliver Jewelry the next day for $550. This is a fun place to browse with a lot of clothing. But hit and miss whether I find anything I like. I give 4 stars for buying clothes and accessories. But 3 stars for selling- you really don't get much $ and I'm not sure it's worth the 30 min wait for them to go through your items, only to receive $8 and 75% of your items returned back to you. Suggestions for improvement would be faster sorting of items you drop off and bin inside or just outside the store to donate your remaining items they didn't buy ( if you so wish). Just make the process easier to sell and donate, so you feel like it's all settled when you leave the store and you didn't spend a large chunk of time for a small amount of $. Some prices are on the high side. Some are reasonable. I enjoy looking through different brands and labels in the same store. I end up seeing things I don't usually because I'm boring and tend to shop at the same retail locations. It gets me out of my fashion box! Service is friendly. No issues there. Visited one day from Toronto to check out the thrift stores. I will say the selection here, brandswise, is weaker than in Oakville and Aurora locations. I saw plenty of low range brands but if that sells well here, why not. it's just that there is Value Village steps away and the same brands can be found for 50% less. but it's a consignment and curated so they have to have these prices. Two things I didn't like, hated the licorice-lemony smell of air freshener. I think they use the same one in Aurora. Not sure if someone wrote it was mandatory for the Aurora location but does the scent itself have to be mandatory or can something less licorice-y be chosen? its just bad. Second, I saw no branded sunglasses which is the thing I am most interesting in apart from sportswear as, although being 30+, I don't dress in dressy outfits or use luxury items. this store had good selection and high end brands such as louis vuitton, gucci, coach, burberry, and other luxury brands. other than the luxury brands, the actual clothing (not luxury brands) was on the more expensive side (for a thrift store). i saw $30 jeans that i could easily buy at another thrift store for $8. the staff is mediocre. read more
