Used to love when Dominic had this place, many have tried since . This one seemed like they were trying. Had a cheese steak slice was kind dry. Asked them for a focaccia done well. To go. Got my bag and it was wet in the bottom.He had put it on a paper plate and the oil tomatoes garlic was pouring trough cause he did me the favor of cutting it (turning it to mush) for me. When I asked and then requested a tin he just poured the slop into the tin and handed it to me. I was not really happy and waited but got no response. So I asked for my money back which I got without the tax taken. It was then when the pizza specialist asked me if I wanted another one.. I'll never be back. Great pizza and refreshingly friendly staff! I called after placing my original order to add grilled chicken to a Greek salad and they happily accommodated the request. Both pizza and salad were great, and I am a bit of a pizza snob. The salad was very big and could easily be spilt between 2-3 people. I'd recommend asking for crust well done on pizza if you like a stiff slice, but flavor was perfect. Great to see staff with a smile and food for a great value. Our favorite local spot! Their pizza is always cooked perfectly. We ask for it to be made "lightly baked" so it's not too crispy but they are consistently good every time. We also really like their chicken parmigiana since the chicken is always so tender (and thin not too thick) and their wraps are delicious too. Our favorite is the BLT wrap with chicken or the chicken Caesar wrap. Their salads are a little bland and they could be a bit more intricate compared to other local competitors so we usually avoid ordering their salads for this reason but other than that, we love Anthony's. read more

Visited this place for the first time in about three years. Have been coming here for more than twenty years. Same owner. Dining room has been nicely updated. The salad came to my table first, and it was fresh and colorful with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, carrot slivers and red onion. It was fresh and colorful and well presented on a nice salad plate. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs as usual. The pasta was perfectly cook and came to the table piping hot. The meatballs were also delicious. This place has consistently good food and service. Been coming here for many years and it has never disappointed. Even though I live twenty five minutes away, I make the trip on occasion because I am always well pleased with what I get. read more

New owners have ruined this once great pizzeria. They forgot to make my cheese steak from 8/4/21 so I had to wait an extra 25 minutes. Today I decided to give them another chance but they over charged me for a Sicilian pizza. I have been coming to this place for over 5 years and bought this same pizza many many times so I know the drill. When I paid I noticed a large price increase, ok no big deal it's probably on the menu but I missed it. So after I check the menu I see the small price increase but after doing the math the prices are still off. I call the pizzeria back and ask why the price are so off and they inform me of a hidden 4% fee for cards. Well, this is against the Visa cardholders agreement because fee's are only allowed on credit cards and the sign must be posted at the entrance and at the register, either way, I used my debit card. The online ordering also charges the wrong tax rate which should be illegal. I was not happy with their response and absolutely hate hidden gotcha fees so I returned the pizza. Ok all done right? No I receive a phone call back from the pizzeria and they are now accusing me of breaking the glass counter by slamming my pizza onto it. Yes, they are accusing me of breaking tempered glass by slamming a Sicilian pizza onto it. Breaking tempered glass is one of the hardest things to do and is the reason why they use it for car windows. I am simply lost for words at this point and would highly suggest you avoid this place at this time. read more

A chime in on a local establishment. First and foremost, good food from a good cook and a great waitress staff. Now the other side. Sent Scott down last Friday night to pick up a pizza after I worked a really long day. Pizza came out of the oven under cooked. New manager Leo, argued with the pizza guy that it was "good enough". Both waitresses and the pizza guy said "the guy likes it a little more cooked". Manager stormed into the back. Between this, the lack of fountain drinks and the lack of ability to even get a glass of water unless its bottled, this place is heading in the wrong direction. Suggestion to the owner; raise prices a dollar or two if you need to; bring back the fountain drinks and water on the tables and either send your manager through customer service training or replace him. Wall is small community and as someone who has brought 2 to 10 people for dinners on more than one occasion in the last year, your screwing your base customers. I personally know of 3 other families with WEEKLY presence, that are heading other places. Fix it now. - BUSINESS REMINDER . For Every person that complains, 10 didn't but were unhappy. read more

This place is like two min from my house. My wife and I said let's try it. We love Vic's in Bradley Beach but by the time you get home pizza is warm at best. Needless to say everything we tried here from dinners to cold subs to hit subs or salads are very good. Definitely worth a try. read more

I've even made my own as well, but this place just about tops them all. Not to mention the owner is very polite and hospitable. This pizzeria serves a modern and yet clearly authentic pie. When a chef/cook cares about their food you can tell by the way it tastes. The attention to detail at this place is incredible. It is modern, yet ancient. The recipes for the sauce and dough have clearly been passed down through generations, yet you can still get a slice of chicken parm or focaccia (which is out of this world). I'm tired of plain pepperoni and cheese; when I get pizza I want something unique, different. Forget traveling to Manhattan for pizza, it's just not necessary. I avoided Anthony's for a long time after stopping in for pizza around 11:30 am and seeing a variety of pies that had to be a day old- pizza doesn't dry up that quickly if it's just an hour or two old. Well, I was told that if you ordered fresh good , you'd be rewarded. And we sure were. My GF and I ordered a double size hot antipasto and it was both enormous and delicious. I've gone here many times, and every time I've gone, the food has always been delicious. But I started trying other places, and have become increasingly disappointed in a few big things. First is the portions. Not good for the money you spend. The amount of pasta they give you is considerably less than other local pizzerias. Also, compared to other places, their sandwiches are just sad. A full size sub was around half that of other places not to mention the ingredients in them were skimpy, overpowered by the bread. Finally is the customer service. I've found the people there are not respectful of the language barrier. The last time I was there, they were speaking Italian and looking at me, would speak English for a few words, then back to Italian while looking right at me. I was not a happy camper when I left that day with my pizza. Since then, never set foot in that place again. Compared to other local establishments, it's nothing special at all, below standard if you ask me.
