Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Homefries, and Breakfast Sausage :)
Lauren S.

Anthony's Pancake House, in the heart of Montauk's town center, was such a great spot for a lazy brunch on a rainy morning. (I felt like setting the scene, so bear with me, haha.) It was our first time there, and after settling into a cute spot by the window, we ordered the whole wheat blueberry pancakes, the Eggs Benedict, and sides of homefries and breakfast sausage. The pancakes were the STAR of the show, and I can definitely see why they are known for pancakes here. (I wasn't sure if the whole wheat would throw anything off, but it really exceeded our expectations with a delectably warm vanilla flavor and so many blueberries in every bite!) The Benedict, always a classic, definitely had a worthwhile hollandaise, and the sides were delicious as well! (I can certainly see why their homefries are 'famous.') Anthony's Pancake House was super satisfying, and I'm still dreaming of those pancakes...

I guess I thought that because I was in the Hamptons, brunch would be epic, but instead, it was just basic. The customer service was good and friendly. The hotel and driver both recommended this breakfast spot compared to the competition, John's Pancake House ( wow, they were so creative...lol), but if this was supposed to be the best, then I think a whole new standard for brunch needs to be created. I had the scrambled eggs with corn beef hash. I always ask if it is the canned corned beef with chunks of little potato look alike or real sliced beef with the home fries for hash. The wait staff said it was the can, but he swore it would be a cut above the rest. It was not. Smh... The hot chocolate came in a glass cup for style, but it defeated the purpose because my "hot" chocolate did not stay "hot"; it was lukewarm. Finally, my companion shared that their burger was just ok. So that about sums up our experience at Anthony's Pancake House.

The service was good and the restaurant comfortable and clean. I ordered the eggs, pancakes and sausage. The eggs were fried perfectly and the sausage was delicious. The pancakes were dry, so not sure I would order that again.

A much preferred venue and breakfast spot versus their competitor across the street. Establish is clean, modern, priced accordingly, friendly staff, great service. Parking in the rear or street parking if you can find it. Here off season (end of October) and was quite surprised to see how busy it got. Get there early to beat the rush. At time of visit - I believe credit cards were accepted but bring cash - there is an ATM in the back- next to one of the gender neutral restrooms.

Incredible breakfast, we came here 2 days in a row on our weekend trip to Montauk and both meals were absolutely delicious. Fast service. Cute dining area & a great brunch option.

Awesome breakfast spot in downtown Montauk! Definitely busy so give yourself extra time. We waited about 20 minutes on a Wednesday morning around 10 AM. Menu has tons of options with some healthy ones, I opted for probably the least healthy and got Oreo waffles with ice cream but it was so good I'm still thinking about it. Both my husband and son got pancakes and potatoes and said they were great. It is slightly less expensive if you pay with cash and you are not able to tip with a credit card. Fortunately they do have an ATM. Super cute and a must if you are in the area!

Visited for after-thanksgiving-breakfast with family. I like the surprisingly modern looking white interiors, and parking at the front (street) and the back (parking lot). We ordered French toast, Pancakes and Egg Benedict, which were all served well. Fresh fruits on top of the toast were a nice addition, and coffee/orange juice were above expectations. We were a bit frustrated when we found out tips should be paid by only cash. Had to trip to my car to find some. I understand there must be a reason, but it would have been great to be mindful that not many people carry cash nowadays. Other than that, it was a great cute place for breakfast during holidays.

It's a classic casual American restaurant with pretty underwhelming food. I went for brunch on a busy weekend with some friends, and we were seated fairly quickly and the staff were nice, but the food was pretty mediocre and under seasoned for my taste. Also, trust the sign at the front. Yellow jackets were really swarming my friends and I while we waited to be sat.

Absolutely fantastic end to our montauk trip! We stumbled upon this place and are so glad we did. All the food was delicious! The star of the show for me was the french toast! Great food, service and friendly staff!

Eggs Benedict & Home fries

Busy breakfast spot downtown. We only waited a few minutes to be seated. Our server was friendly & prompt even though the place was full. Eggs Benedict was delicious with perfectly cooked eggs. The home fries were the tastiest I've ever had. Pricy, but I'd say worth it. Casual, quick service.

This place is a dump. The front end is rude. The food is terrible. How can you screw up breakfast.

There were 6 of us for brunch and none of us had been here before. The Shipwright's Daughter rivals many excellent experiences we had and surpasses most. The staff was super friendly and did everything they could to make our experience memorable. The brunch menu offers a nice assortment of options as we had one member in our party who had some eating restrictions. We started off with both raw and roasted oysters, both of which, we some of the best we have ever had. I love Shashuka. I've never had it with tomatillos. This version is now my favorite. I enjoyed the play between savory and acid. I chose my eggs to be prepared over easy expecting the yolks to add the desired richness that tomatillos can handle without overpowering their bite. What set this version apart for me was the addition of the pickled vegetables. They greatly complimented the tomatillos with their own sweetness and acidity that made for a well balanced bite. Others in our party felt similarly, that their meals were so flavorful and so well execucted that it made for a superb dining experience.

No matter, we were there before 11AM so we were served breakfast. The server we had was excellent she was a former employee of the Coffee Break which was the old restaurant in this location. The place is LOUD. The decor is new and refreshed. There is NO WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS (which surprised me as they just renovated the place. One would think the Town of Clinton would have required it.) I had the Breakfast Wrap with sausage and american cheese. It was good and filling. $7.00 (in May 2026) My companion had the Quinoa Omelette pictured 1/2 eaten ($14.75 in May 2026) which was good. The home fries had a little too much salt but were otherwise excellent. Personally when there is salt actually on the table, I always wonder why the cook just lightly dusts with salt as I can add more. We also ordered a fresh fruit cup which had grapes purple and green, strawberries, and a few hard pieces of honey dew melon. $6.50 (May 2026) In May 2026 the hours are 0700-1430 MON - SAT 0700-1200 SUN ****WARNING**** They stop servicing breakfast items at 11AM They do take credit cards BUT... They used to take it right at the table now, they don't which means you wait to pay. Bad move on the owner's part. There is plenty of free parking. I imagine there will be waits once the summer season gets going so plan to wait (maybe on the weekends)?
