My husband had the "Anthony's Favorite"
Magie d.

My salad was small for the price, it could've had more veggies on it for sure but it was tasty cause I was hungry! Would I highly recommend this place? No! Would I go again? Yes, cause I live in Vermont now and the choices are slim.

hot turkey entree and chicken club

anthony's diner really exceeded my expectations. the atmosphere and service were both great, our server was very friendly and attentive. our food came out very quickly, and my partner and i were both very happy with our entrees. the hot turkey entree came with stuffing underneath the turkey as well, which was a pleasant surprise. the turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing all tasted phenomenal like a homemade thanksgiving dinner. the mac and cheese was absolutely worth getting. it was very creamy and cheesy, i was obsessed and practically cleared the plate. my partner requested crispy chicken rather than grilled for his chicken club and they were happy to comply. really recommend anthony's diner!

Sausage mushroom and cheddar with homefries
Lisa T.

I was in town visiting friends and he brought us here because it was closest to where we were heading to after. The service was poor. We got waffles with blueberries, mushrooms, sausage, and cheddar omelette with homefries. Also the vermonter omelette which has peppers, onions tomatoes, ham and cheddar. The omelettes were good, but the homefries were just big fried potatoes. No seasonings at all. Waffle was nothing special and you have to ask for maple syrup and it'll cost extra and she'll give you literally not even a shot of it lol. I wouldn't recommend this place or come back.

I wanted to try the Lincoln Diner for breakfast today, but upon seeing the tremendous lineup and…read morewait for a table, Boyfriend was like, nope. So off to the Littleton Diner we went instead! (Our local pal Gregory confirmed that brand-new Lincoln Diner is *very good* and extremely popular, so hopefully I get to try it eventually!) Things turned out for the best however - no wait here, our favorite booth available and I got some blueberry coffee and a delicious 5-cheese omelette - I think it was my first time trying an omelette here, and it was *great*! Super loaded with cheese and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. Prices have gone up soooo much since I started coming here two decades ago... but still worth every penny!

How can you expect people from out of town to just know your menu when placing a to go order? If certain things don't come in dishes anymore maybe update the menu posted on your website, don't expect customers to just know your menu and be respectful when you talk to them. You don't make the feel smaller then you and an inconvenience! Bad attitude doesn't want people to ever come back. Finally got all our food and in the omelette I ordered no olives in were definitely a load of black olives. Turkey was bland, dry, pretty sure was sitting in a hot pan for days just drying out. The turkey, stuffing, mashed, gravy all tasted the exact same BLAND AND NO FLAVOR. Even if the food was food I'd never come back because of the rude staff. Don't work in customers if you hate talking to them!!!

Make it a destination stop, whether on your bike, out exploring in your vehicle, or if you are a local in search of hearty, rustic fare in a special place. This is a beautifully restored building with ample interior and exterior seating. It is very dog friendly. Lady Bug was given a homemade treat by the owner, which she gobbled down with relish. There are choices for breakfast and lunch, and we ate there at lunch. The mouth-watering breakfast offerings - blueberry pancakes and custom breakfast sandwiches - will necessitate another visit for another time. While I was craving the curry chicken salad after ordering it off of the specials chalk board, it wasn't available and I was offered the pesto chicken instead. It turned out not to be a favorite of mine, and the rough-cut chicken had gristle and big pieces of skin mixed in. I would have preferred it more shredded. It needed something else to elevate the flavors and add complexity. Halved cherry tomatoes? Maybe a dash of toasted slivered almonds? A little tweaking on this seasonal standard would elevate it into something truly special. A bevy of hot and cold beverages, and a glass case of home-made sweets provide something for everyone. We settled on baked "French toast" cake that we brought home and enjoyed, per recommendation, with fresh strawberries, syrup, and cream. The new owners are warm and friendly, and are pouring themselves into creating a lovely space. We can't wait to return!

The gentleman working there was the greeter, cook and waiter. He was very friendly. The food was delicious. I had the blueberry pancakes and my son had the breakfast burrito.
