Brought my car in, handed over the keys and was told once again that a 2018 would cost $10 (how great and cheap is that?). And then... I was handed a $37 bill. I questioned it was $10 from the beginning and thought it was a mistake. Then was told, "OHH, thought you said 2019." I couldn't have been more clearer that it was 2018. I paid the bill since the necessary service was done but had to do it via debit since I brought $20 in cash. The guy behind the counter didn't seem too happy about the debit and sarcastic said that apparently he didn't know how to do his job, didn't know the right prices, etc. I don't care much for that but making a quick buck through dishonesty is why I will never come back again. And.. grease stains were left on the interior material of my car which shows they do not care about giving your car back the way it was first given.

*** NOT TO BE TRUSTED *** I took my car there for an…read moreinspection. Another person in line said it was his second time there within several days for an inspection. The first time around the owners said that they couldn't inspect his car because the front side windows were tinted and that he would have to have the tint removed. The gentleman did just that. I thought the windows must have had a REALLY dark tint. Much to my surprise, the owner told me the same story--that I would have to have the tint removed from my car before they could inspect it. He claimed that the law was enacted several years ago and that the state was recently getting very strict about enforcing it. I didn't believe that for a second and went home to some research. Tinted windows ARE ALLOWED as long as 70% of light can pass through them. There is a hand-held gadget that checks this. These people are sick and absolutely despicable. Then, a white male in his forties says... "Ohh, you look at your car huh?" You guessed it...he said it in an infantilizing and sexist tone. At that very moment, I take my business elsewhere. If you can't take me seriously because of your sexism, you can't take my money. In the automotive repair industry, sexism runs deeper than business sense. After this experience, and many like it, I would love to see women-owned, run, and served in the automotive industry.

Wow they were not only able to figure out the problem in less than a day but they charged me only a fraction of what other places were looking to make me pay. I'd definitely recommend this place before you end up spending tons of money with other places that are dishonest and lack the knowledge necessary to get the job done correctly once and for all!

They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are. My car was badly damaged but not totaled. Henry took care of the whole process for me working with my insurance. The insurance authorized a rental for three weeks and the car was ready on time.
