I live all the way in Brooklyn NY and asked a local business owner if they could refer me somewhere I could trust to get me back on the road. They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are. The shop was owned by William Vasquez RIP, inwhich, I never personally met but his Wife Pelkys and daughter Joanna run the shop since his death and they do an excellent job. I found that to be a rather unique situation because 99 % of shops are dominated by men. Nevertheless, I highly recomend this shop as a go to place , especially for women.

After making it to the automobile dealership where I work, in Hudson County, NJ - as the Finance Director - I had the tire "fixed" by my service department. Unfortunately, the one "plug" installed didn't resolve the issue of a second hole, in close proximity to the one "repaired" by my dealership. I left the dealership, late last night, only to watch a progressive reduction in the PSI reading for this tire, en route to revisiting Tottenville, Staten Island. So, after going through a couple of cans of "Fix-A-Flat" and three stops to put air in the tire, on my way to the palatial home of my "better-half's" affluent family and spending the night there for the "umpteen hundredth" time, this morning I drove to Jo Jo's on Page Avenue. All of the men working there were friendly and efficient. The technician who fixed my flat tire, with a properly installed patch, was in the midst of patching the tire on a Mercedes-Benz when I arrived. He rapidly completed that repair. Then, he took care of patching my tire, all within approximately 25 minutes. I am glad my unfortunate experience, with my own dealership's service department, didn't happen to one of my customers. I'm equally glad that I had Jo Jo's in my mother-in-law's neighborhood, to go to when I needed a quick and professional repair, on the spot and with no fanfare and zero aggravation. Anyone who would think that $17 for a properly-done tire repair is too much, in my opinion, is clueless. These people are friendly, efficient, and competent. What more could anyone ever hope for? I strongly recommend anyone in this area of Staten Island, who needs automotive repairs or tires, to give Jo Jo's an opportunity to make them a fan. A generous tip - to the technician - was clearly called for, in my case. Now, I know why - every time I drive by 125 Page Avenue - Jo Jo's always appears to be "busy" with a car, truck, or SUV on every lift and several vehicles in their parking lot. Apparently, they do a lot more than fix flat tires, with the same high level of professionalism and friendliness that I experienced, for a host of people who come to them with a wide variety of "mechanical issues" that need immediate attention.

I literally just had my car there this week. My window on my driver side got busted from a cling car shade I got from Amazon that I forgot to remove when I rolled my window down and it got jammed and messed up the window regulator. My hubby dropped off my car Monday night after hours, the next day Danny called us and gave us an estimate and said that he has to get the part for us which would take a day. He got the part in the next day and my car was ready that same day. We are very happy with them. I really hope they stay at this location for a very long time.
