I asked if anything was wrong with it and he said "no, it starts and runs good" so I went in with a friend and checked it out, test drive it and again asked if anything was wrong. He told me and my friend again "no it runs and drives good" I told Lloyd I would buy only if he would include the warranty, which he finally decided too only if I paid more for it so I did. I drove off the lot and 20 min later, the check engine light came on and I broke down. I text him and told him I was broke down and his response was "well, idk" "I'd have to see what it's doing" I then called him and told him and I asked what I needed to do and he said that's what I bought the warranty for and that if I had it towed to his mechanic then his mechanic would say whatever he had to say for the warranty to cover it. I said no because I would be a part of insurance fraud. I told him I want my money back and he said no. Several other times while my truck was at a reliable mechanic and the warranty people were checking it out, me and my husband both asked him for a refund and he said no and even hung up on my husband. We asked him to just do the right thing but he won't do it. The warranty company did their investigation and denied the claim saying that the problem was there long before I bought the truck and that the warranty should have never been sold to me so they were refunding the money. I informed to warranty company of how Lloyd Patout Jr wanted me to go to his mechanic so his mechanic could lie about the problem to get it fixed and the warranty company said that they will from here on out, not be doing business with him or his company any longer and that they would be reporting him. I have also reported him to the Used Car Motor Commission and I told Lloyd that but his response was "great, thanks" I will not stop until I have my money back that I spent. He is a CROOK! Do not do business with him unless you want to be screwed over. This truck was my sons 16th birthday present which was yesterday and Lloyd knew that but he had absolutely no problem putting a 16 year old kid in a truck with broken pushing rods in it. Instead, he put thicker oil in there so it wouldn't make a sound until the oil burned off. Which is what happened with me 20 minutes after I left his dealership. I also have all text and images of the report if anyone would like to see. I see other reviews where he did the same thing to people and he went and responded to the review by saying "this is a fake review so stop posting this from a fake account" Anyone can email me at camiec84@yahoo.com and I will give you all text messages and warranty inspection report.

The sales lady told me that the sales manager is not a people person and refused to let me speak to him to work out a deal and to eliminate the middle man. Didnt work with me on price to try and get it to where i was comfortable. Overall not pleased with my experience and will not be doing business with these people.

I was informed not to drive it and they couldn't take it in for a month. I had the vehicle repaired at another dealer in 2 days time without issue (dropped off one day and it was ready the next day by 10:00 AM). Keep in mind the truck was only 3 weeks old and still had a paper plate on it. When I told the advisor about it, he shrugged and replied, "oh".

I called my salesman who told me to call him with any issues, (really emphasized how he really meant that and wasn't just saying that) and he told me they probably wouldn't do anything about it and sounded extremely uninterested in helping me. the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1, is because I do like my truck, but the service was terrible for a $50,000 purchase. my mistake for not checking and seeing all the 1 star reviews before hand.
