Went in for an eyebrow wax, I'm a regular customer for that. The lady who did my service kind of argued with me about what I wanted. Walked in the door at 7:14. They told me that they stopped taking customers. I inquired as to why they would stop taking customers when they don't close until 8. She said we stopped taking customers at 7:15 because they close at 7:30. By the time I showed her the closing time they have listed online, and asked if she would make a :60 second exception considering their closing time is listed incorrectly online. She would not make any exceptions even when I showed her the error online. The fact that their own hours are listed online, and she cut me off by one minute, was petty and unprofessional. read more

Would recommend making an appointment beforehand so you don't have to wait. If I call a few hours in advance, I usually can get an appointment the same day. The interiors are clean and spacious. Services are always friendly. They also serve you a beverage of your choice as you are getting your nails done. I usually don't have a preference for a manicurist. Pretty disappointed in my first time experience here. I had higher expectations for this salon. Quick summary, I was having the worst pedicure by Yume... she barely trimmed my cuticles just poked around it. She also did it at the end so she was "trimming" my cuticles dry. I had a ingrown on one side of my toe but no point of even pointing it out because she didn't even trim my cuticles. I just like my toe nails straight across and she managed to make it crooked and kept trying to fix it so now it's all different lengths. Plus gave me a attitude the rest of the pedicure because I mentioned my toenails were crooked. What really disappointed me was that the management watched the entire time how frustrated and upset i was. The receptionist even asked how was everything and I already told her I do not like my pedicure. They never asked what was wrong or tried to make things better. I had to call them later to explain what I was upset about. But even then, they didn't really seem to care. I didn't expect for a discount or anything I just wanted my pedicure done right. Polish was streaky too. Then my manicure I also got cut on 4 different fingers...I only noticed 1 the day of, but when I showered, that's when the other cuts started burning. Only reason gave 2 star instead of 1 was because Vy gave my boyfriend a great pedicure and did take care of his ingrown toenails. They are also not enforcing all of TDLR Guidelines. Clients are not supposed to be touching supplies such as nail polish bottles and swatches due to COVID-19. Face masks are also supposed to be worn even if practicing social distancing. There was a couple of employees just sitting around not wear a face mask and had it on their arm. read more

AVOID I came 03/18 for a full set and pedicure after being greeted not so friendly I wanted to relax and just enjoy the time to myself . The entirety of the time there was a third lady who was just chit chatting away with the other two girls while I was getting my nails done. They finished and I took a look at my nails and all my cuticles were uncut and the nails just looked awful. I told them if they cut clean up the cuticles and they said it was going to be additional. I said it was fine. Still looked pretty bad but I had to leave because I was headed to work. It took me three days and a lot of comments from people saying how thick and poorly done they were. I called Tuesday morning to see if they could fix them, they told me to come in, so here I go. I get to the nail salon just to be told if I wanted to redo the set at a discounted price! I don't see why I would have to pay additional to get something fixed. I politely told them to just remove them. I get them removed and they had the audacity to charge me $10... You are paying for the "complimentary" glass of wine and for fancy decor. Nails still looked awful after removal. Never again. The poor customer service was ridiculous and poorly managed. read more

Came here with one of my best friends for a birthday treat. I don't usually get a mani pedi so the gel mani + pedi price made me cringe, but the service and results were great. As soon as you walk in you can, you can see how clean and beautiful the space is, we came in pretty late (after 7) and they closed at 8. They were still able to take us both and have two people working on each of us (one for mani and one for pedi). They sat me down immediately and asked if I wanted a drink. I had no idea they had wine until later and had a glass brought over. The women were very kind and engaging, checking in on us as we were serviced. We heard Dzu was moving to the new salon so we followed him here at City Centre. Sad that he not close to our home, but content since he is near my work area. Dzu is one of the best nail tech and he is really patient with all his clients. We arrived around 12:30pm, the place was really busy and pack with customers. I asked for Dzu but he was already with a client, my daughter wanted Dzu to her nails so we asked to be put on a list to wait for him. We grab a bite to eat and came back to get her nails done. Tried this place out for the first time and was super disappointed. I requested a $65 pedicure and a $45 manicure. The pedicure is supposed to be 55-60 minutes but they were done in 30 min. The chair also didn't massage the back like it's supposed to, no matter which setting I tried, so it appears to need service. Paying $65 for a 30 min pedicure on a crummy chair is not the experience I was expecting. When I brought it to their attention at checkout that the pedicure was 1/2 the advertised time, they just said they would "talk to the nail tech about that". What??? I indicated I was unhappy with the service and that's your response? I KNOW what time I got there because I have a receipt timestamped from the nearby post office. The only reason why I didn't give 1 star is because the manicure was decent for the price. But I'm never going back here. read more

For my basic gel manicure, she did a beautiful job on my polish and an amazing job cleaning up my cuticles. She also ended my manicure with a oil-based hand massage follow by a hot towel. I felt so pampered and my hands were super soft! My pedicure came out great too! Best manicure I've had. Great pedicure. They are really nice too! I am a big fan of this place; it is literally the only place I go to. It might look a bit pretentious but it is actually very calming and soothing and extremely clean, even prior to Covid. I appreciate that they know my name and face when I come in; low turnover of employees; a nice collection of colors and services to choose from; and the play list is really nice. But the chairs...all time favorite! They massage the backs of your legs and glutes and adjust comfortably. It might be a bit pricey, but I don't mind paying for their over cleanliness and caution to all of our health. read more

I was really disappointed the last time I went. The lady who worked on my feet had the worst attitude and you know what I did? I killed her with kindness and completely pretend as if I did not notice that she was talking about me to other ppl who worked in the salon. She was offended because the only thing I continued to ask her was to not use the machine drill on my toes. I had a gel on my toes, but know it can be taken off with a hand held file and then soaked in acetone. Bc of meds, my nails were extremely brittle at the time, so I had a reason I did not want the drill. No matter how many times I asked her to NOT use the drill please, she pretended as if she did not understand me and tried to use it. Sometimes there is a reason customers ask for specific things, which is what I did. She is beyond disrespectful. I used to live in the area and visited the salon frequently, but will never visit again. It annoys me when a business judges their customers and think someone may not be intelligent. I knew what she was doing, kindly asked her to please not use the drill and never complained to management, but knew I would never be a patron again. She was probably looking for a reaction out of me, or wanted me to argue, so she could use that to her advantage of boxing me in as an "angry person". But I was nothing but kind to her, even though she was in the complete wrong. The lady who took the Polygel off of my nails on my hands was nice. The Polygel was so hard to come off, but she took her time and was extremely patient.
