If I could give zero stars I would . I have just moved to the area and anthem nails is the closest salon to me. I did read the reviews before coming and saw many negatives but thought I would try and support a local business in the area. Prior to trying this salon I had been a loyal customer to another nail studio for 10+ years before moving here. I made an appointment, I was the ONLY person waiting. About 25min after my scheduled appointment I was sat in a chair. Shortly after I sat down another woman walked in, the tech who was helping me got up and went to her, she had to repeat herself about 4 times. The tech who was helping me then told me to "wait" and continued to help the woman who just walked in the door. She then told me that she was her "regular customer" and I said ok but I also had an appointment and have waited 30min, she continued to tell me to "wait a few more minutes" and proceeded to help the other woman. (I am also wondering why she needed to repeat herself many times if she's a "regular customer" and was in fact expected to be there) At that point I got up and left, I will not be treated unfairly and then still expected to give my money to this business. I have never seen or received such poor management and professionalism/service not only in a salon but in any business itself. Luckily there is another salon about 3 minutes down the road that I went to after where I was treated fairly. As mentioned before I was a "regular customer" to the same salon for many years and the salon I went to would have never treated any customers differently based on their status, new happy customers should become new "regulars" in theory right? They send texts to you once you are a customer. Received two that said if you refer a friend you will get 20% off on your next visit. I have referred friends and they would not honor the 20% off. Also after 10 visits you are to get $10 off. Because I gave them a bad review about this, they told me not to come to their salon. I am also taking my friends with me. Someone broke a glass bottle of nail polish right in front of me and my daughter (we were barefoot) it took them forever to clean up. I moved to this area in October and have been getting a gel mani pedi here ever since. Everyone there has always been very patient and kind to me but Lisa, Cici, and the only male (which idk his name though) stand out to me in particular. Lisa is very kind and even fixed my chipped gel nail without accepting a tip. She also helped my toddler With the restroom because I was occupied with foil on my hands and feet, again without accepting a tip. It is not often to come across people With such a genuine heart. Cici is super sweet and gives the best massages. My feet being very sensitive to touch I usually decline massage but she was very gentle and made the experience very enjoyable. The man is very patient. He stayed after closing hours one time to do my nails and didn't give me an attitude or anything. I love this salon. I don't ever see myself going anywhere else :) read more

Wish I could give this place "zero" stars! I've been here in the past. It's been a few years. It's close to home so convenient for a pedicure. My step mom was in town and we made an appointment to get a pedicure. Mind you we made the appointment way in advance. We got there and was told to wait and it would be 15 mins. 30 mins goes by, the pedicure chairs are ready,, but nobody seemed to answer us. We ended up leaving and, thankfully, we were able to go somewhere else. I refuse to be treated this way! Not only that, but this business was not following the Covid-19 protocol by any means! Employees were not wearing masks. If they were, they had them pulled down. Pedicure chairs were bot 6 feet apart, nor were there any kind of dividers for safety. This place was terrible. We got in a couple days before. Following this, they said they were tired and continued to mess up our acrylics. The color was blotchy as well. We came in and explained the issue the next day. The refused the issues saying that the nails were fine. After much asking they agreed to redo the nails. We waited for and hours upon a so called "45 min wait" How ever the guy who re did the nails was very nice. And they turned out ok. read more

I got a gel mani and a gel pedi and I'm very pleased with how perfect my nails look. The shop is beautiful (recently remodeled), with high end pedi chairs. Super clean and professional! i moved here 6 1/2 years ago. Anthem nails was highly recommended. However after 3 nail appts, I was told that i was no longer welcome and I could take my money elsewhere. I found Debbie at another salon called Destiny. I have been with Debbie for over 6 years. she , however has returned to work at Anthem Nails. I always make an appt with Debbie. She is so wonderful and treats me like a queen. The manager/ owner told me today that I was no longer welcome. I said that I am only here for Debbie.. end of story ! He is so rude, but I don't want to bail on Debbie. she has done both acrylic fill and pedicures extremely well. What can be done for a so-called manager who says my money is not welcome. So I just moved to Inspirada and was looking to find a new nail place... after trying 2 nail salons that had really good reviews I decided to try Anthem Nails because the places with good reviews gave me crappy nails so I decided I might as well try a place with bad reviews to see what would come of that... Stephanie did a fill on my fingers and a pedicure and amazing job... 2 weeks after my fill my nails are still not lifting... and I went back to see her to get a feel again she was out sick so I had my nails done by Kevin and my toes done by Sunny and they both did a great job also... so makes break is been very nice with Anthem Nails even though they don't have the best of reviews on here for some reason... The owner told me that they don't really care about yelp reviews because they don't have competition in the area which kind of bothered me a little bit... because I use yelp for everything.. maybe he was just being a little defensive because I made a comment about the bad reviews... I will continue to go back and see Stephanie for my fills and pedicures... and I currently get my eyelashes done so I will update my review when she does my eyelashes... read more

Very , very poor customer service. Can't tell I had a manicure done. Been going there for many years since close by and convenient ,but today was the last time.When you rude to a nine year old child whom should enjoy getting her nails done for no reason you cross the line. One person starts on you and then they switch without letting you know.I got the fingernails on one hand filed and the other hand did not get filed. I left without getting nail polish simply because I was so upset about the treatment and rudeness they displayed. THIS PLACE DESERVES 0 STARS, but they wouldn't let me. I went there as a walk-in. Normally, I go i there about every 3 weeks for a manicure and pedicure. I have never really been happy with this place, but it's right near my house. Today though, was the last straw. Today I went in, and I picked out my polish. 15 minutes after I got there, they put me in the chair and I started to soak my feet. No one had bothered to tell me that I would wait for 15 minutes, I just assumed I would wait, even though it did not appear that busy. After I was soaking my feet, another 30 minutes passed by. I asked the woman who put in the chair, what was going on. She then told me a story how one person was in Vietnam, one was out on maternity and blah, blah, blah, and how hard it was for her to figure out what was going on. I don't care. I just want my manicure and pedicure. It's not like she tried to be friendly to me earlier. She finally says, that woman is just finishing up polishing that woman over there. It will just be another 2 minutes. Well, needless to say, 10 more minutes and I took my feet out of the water, dried them, put on my shoes and walked up to the manicurist in the front, and said, "I will never be here again." I mean it. A huge waste of my time. Nearly an hour of my time wasted. I don't recommend this place. read more

Looking for a new place close to home so I thought I'd give them a try. I get acrylic pink & whites/squared. I was given to Jennie and who didn't listen to a word I said as to what I wanted. I went to her 2 more times and I was still disappointed. All 3 times she nicked me with the electric drill & I walked out bleeding. One my last visit with her I had a pedicure and that was a joke. Okay on the massage but my feet looked awful. Like I said, I was looking for a place close to home so then I tried Kevin. He was just as bad. I had to go back 2 days later to get them fixed because about 5 of them lifted on the sides. Thought I'd give him a 2nd chance but I got a call a 1/2 hour before my 10:30 appointment today and they said he was not in. I asked for anyone else besides Jennie and this time I got Debbie. I got a complete new set and in the process she used the drill on one nail until it went through my nail bed & bled. Another nail she cut so close she caught the skin underneath so then that one was bleeding too. Then there was the filing of the acrylic where she made a few of my cuticles bleed as well. It took 2 hours & 15 minutes and I walked out with bloody, thick and very sore nails that I had to file down myself when I got home. And I mean they were THICK. Ridiculous. It's a shame that Kevin has a gold mine there but none of them know how to do nails. All of us women are paying good money for these services and the price is not worth what we're getting. . Before I get bashed here, please note that I did give them all a chance to get it right but it seems they really do not want to please the customer. One other note. After my first visit I asked Kevin if he was the owner and he said, "No, I am the manager. The owner is in CA." I found out from Debbie today that he IS the owner. read more

Made a 5:30pm appointment for a mani pedi. I waited 15 minutes to be seen and as soon as I sat in the pedi chair, the girls were apparently annoyed that it was so late. The girl that was to do mani kept trying to talk me out of the service I wanted and tried talking me into a mani that took less time. Every few minutes, they'd look at me and then up at the clock on the wall. It was super awkward. They asked me to pre pay as well so they could close the register out, which I did. I told them that it was obvious I was in too late and just asked for a credit on my credit card I paid with. I just wanted out of there and the only thing they'd done is remove the polish from my toes. They told me there was no way they could credit my card and all they could do was give me a gift certificate, which I'll never use. read more

this place is the worst i have been to! I went in to get my acrylics removed and they were making fun of me for removing them. Also when I walked in it was almost like they could not be bothered with me. The stuff they use is not clean and they always have their kids on there. I was surprised to see such bad reviews after visiting today. I called ten minutes before my arrival, they got me right in for my pedicure which came with a heavenly leg and foot massage. I decided to do a gel mani, I changed what color I wanted to do last minute and I knew it was probably annoying so I apologized when my tech responded that it was unnecessary to apologize and said "whatever you want, whenever" It was a fast, friendly and very affordable salon and it's maybe three minutes from home?
