I hope my clothes get cleaned better than how the business is maintained. Double check the washer and dryers for leftovers. The walls are covered in cobwebs and dead bugs. Some electrical needs attention. They had a dryer fire at one point, new row of dryers, but didn't even repaint the wall or ceiling. Cleanliness is the biggest problem.

So many homeless putting them filthy clothes in washers using no soap. Lice and scabies is what you get in this filthy place.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolute terrible dryers. I originally wanted to make a review…read moreover the extreme smell of cat piss wafting from the ground and multiple washers. And I mean basically, eye watering ammonia smell Through the entire laundrymat. If the equipment wasn't terrible, I wouldn't have said anything and just hope somebody was going to clean it soon. But the bathroom alone should be a health hazard. I don't think anybody takes the time to clean this place thoroughly not only is it $0.25 for 4 minute. and nearly every other place is 6-8 minutes per quarter. the dryers didn't work, or spin correctly and cost double to dry. $4 just to dry one load. 16 quarters. that Is the most I've spent to dry anywhere. Even in the bay area. not every place has washer and dryer hookups. I've had to get rid of two sets of washers and dryers from moving normalize realistic prices. a small load is $5 and larger is $7. (Whereas it's $3-$3.50 for small and medium, and $8 for the jumbo!) for two people, cost is upwards of $25 a week to wash and dry and $30-$35 a month on soap, softener, and dryer sheets. over $130 a month to wash clothes. and this place is basically double the price with the shitiest equipment I've used. And when my boyfriend tried to call the number listed on the wall, it was an invalid number, not in service anymore. Which is not only sleazy, but it makes the whole thing seem shady as hell. Save yourself time and money by going to any other laundromat. The best in the area (price and cleanliness) is the Fabric Station, in Redding. even the bathroom is always immaculate.

I used this laundromat the last 4 times I did laundry. The machines ate my money once, while the…read moreoperators were there, and instead of refunding me my $2 they told me to fill out a complaint card with all my info, which i did, and never received any compensation. This was over a month ago. This time, I decided to use the laundromat in anderson next to safeway and loved it. The machines were literally half the price of the cottonwood one. To use hot water on a heavy cycle the machines in cottonwood charge almost $7 and the same options on the same machines in anderson only cost $3.50. I would rather pay that at a nice laundromat in anderson than pay $7 to have a machine eat my money at the one in cottonwood. Do better.
