After 6 months of searching for the right preschool for my 4 year old daughter, I found Antelope…read moreChristian Academy. It seemed like a great school that not only taught the fundamental skills that a preschooler should learn, but also a good environment to grow and explore. She attended school for 3 weeks before I pulled her out. What we experienced was the opposite of what I was hoping for from a Christian, faith based school. The morning teachers were rude to the children and yelled at them when they didn't listen instead of redirecting or coaching the children. They threatened punishments on multiple occasions, such as taking things away, calling parents, or time out. This teaches children to be afraid of punishment, or to view yelling and threatening as an appropriate means of communication with their peers. I brought up my concerns to the preschool director and felt unheard and brushed off. I was hoping for a better experience but I was extremely disappointed with our experience here.

There was also a point in time i talked to ms.velani however you spell that weird name she told me i would never be anything in life and to come back in 10 years and i would have nothing because i have nothing going on in life (this was last year when i was mentally drained) i didn't say anything i just walked out the office and proceeded to go to my sixth period. fast forward 1 year later i probably made her school paycheck in under 1 week lol i hate the way the teachers act at this school there is only 3-4 teachers at this school. ms velani should be fired, i don't know why she talked to me like that. she yelled at me saying i wouldn't be shit in a few years now i make her paycheck in a week. Ms Lanning is very understanding and caring. she made me happy my freshmen year so shoutout to her she gave me advice there was also one time she noticed i was very down and depressed so she went me to my counselor. i was mad at the time because why would she tell my business? but at the same time all she wanted was for me to be happy and to get better. So yeah shoutout to ms lanning- anonymous Ps don't come here if you aren't mentally prepared the teachers come here to get payed not to support you're education

So many students do bad behavior and get away with it easily. I wish there would be more fairness and justice in this school. I would recommend this school to people, but there are downpoints. There should be more rules regarding behavior...Not many rallies or school activities as they used to have. My kid ordered something from the book fair that was pretty expensive, and it turned out that they ran out and all they did was give a 3 dollar coupon... That was pretty cheap! Ok school
