They also built a new library sometime in my junior year. Both places were pretty nice. I loved all of my teachers (I was in Special Ed, but I took some General Ed classes)! The staff there were also very friendly as well. The reason I chose this school was because my old friends wanted to go there, but I made new friends there too. My absolute favorite teachers were Mrs. Lorge, Mr. Kaul, and Ms. Uno. Sadly, the latter two retired after I graduated, but they were very awesome! I enjoyed spending my four years at this school.

I got there early and they had pre-recorded messages on the loud speaker from graduating students. I guess the school though it was OK for one of the recordings to include curse words. And since it was pre-recorded i had to hear it over and over. I cant believe the school thought that was ok. Than as they announced the graduating class individually to accept they're diploma there was a handful of disrespectful students who yelled in the microphone as the next students name was being announced. So disrespectful to the next student being acknowledged. I would of been more pissed had that been my nephews name who was over shadowed by the former student that decided it was OK to take charge of the microphone. There comes a point when the staff should of stepped in. But they obviously didnt see a problem with it. Maybe because it wasn't they're child getting overshadowed. Hopefully I never have to attend another ghetto graduation here in the future. Also glad my kids wont be graduating here.

They are welcoming and respectful. We are lucky to have landed in this class. My daughter has life long friends. Some since 2nd grade and some as new as 6th grade. I have a 6th grader who has learning g needs and the school works tirelessly to help him and meet him where he's at. We would recommend this school 100% to all families. I know both of my kids will leave prepared for high school. We found the previous principal fair, caring, and understanding but also realistic. We are thankful to have had her as long as we did. The current principal, while new, seems approachable, knowledgeable, and caring. The middle school staff is fantastic! The resource teacher is also amazing. Kids can struggle and as a parent that's hard but I know my kids are better for everything they have overcome and accomplished. As parents we have tried to be as welcoming as possible to all new families because we know being new can be hard and because we were welcomed. It deserves commendation that this relatively small school has such committed staff and it was evident from the moment you walked into the ceremony. It was evident in their warm greeting as you entered through the doors, their effort to keep the focus on the kids and their families and to the plenty of security personnel present to keep an eye on things. While not a parent of a student (just an aunt) I was moved to write this review because this small staff has raised a large sum in scholarships to provide to their students. The staff is clearly bonded to the kids and it was touching. This year 8 kids rec'd scholarships including the munchkin I was supporting today. It's quite a phenomenal feat to raise these funds and this act shows genuine commitment to their students. Thank you Charter Choices for your commitment to the children.

I attended Albert Einstein Middle school from 2001 to 2003. However, the school provided many programs and extracurricular activities to help ease the transition. MUSIC/EXTRACURRICULAR: I was an orchestra kid. The orchestra was a lot smaller, but we managed. Instruments were provided for students. The teacher was patient and taught us the essentials of reading music while teaching us how to play the instruments. We'd perform at a few music festivals during the year. From what I remember, the band program had a lot of support from the school and parents. They were well-funded and they performed in Disneyland in the spring. There were a lot of clubs on campus, too. You could always find one to cater to your interests and hobbies. ACADEMICS: Academics were rigorous, at least, for the classes I had. I think class placement was based on standardized test scores, because we had the equivalent of honors classes. My teachers were amazing with the level of enthusiasm they displayed to their students. If anyone has had Mr. Green, you knooow what I mean! A lot of my favorite teachers transferred to Rosemont High School in 2004, so you can find them there!! :]] FOOD: Before the health craze started in 2002, the cafeteria had chicken wings, fruit snacks, cup-o-noodles, Its-Its ice cream, more ice cream, chips, and soda. The hot food was the usual stuff served in all the school districts. Then BAM!!! Everything disappeared to be replaced with baked chips and juice. I understand the concern for eating healthy, but when you're an adolescent, it just suuuucked. The chicken wings were always super delicious. I weep for their loss :[ TREATS: Seventh grade trip to Country Club Lanes. Eighth grade promotion trip to Six Flags. We also had the typical school dances in the cafeteria.
