Student Services doesnt actually service the students. Not a single person was helpful when I called, one of the counselors did not understand what I needed, though was very specific, and even pushed me away from the school to pursue another within the the Los Rios chain. No one asked if I needed assistance while in line, or smiled or greeted. Clearly a FOR PROFIT school doesnt know what customer service is. Sadly the graduation rate reflects that... 27% And degree completion takes 1.5 times longer than normal.

Just don't park here, the machines take your money and don't print tickets then you get citations for not having a permit

We had just moved cross…read morecountry and were dealing with a lot--unpacking, adjusting, husband starting a new job, etc. We have an older son who was going into 1st at the time. Rocklin Ranch accepted our son, but had us ramp into a full day care very slowly. Like an hour a day at first. I've never had this experience--neither of my 2 boys ever had such a slow transition period across 3 other day care programs between them. This was frustrating as I my husband and I work full time and paid for full time care but the director, Aman, kept saying he wasn't ready. He was crying too much and it was disrupting other kids. Once he was adjusted things seemed to be going fine, with some comments about rowdy behavior or getting up during circle time from his teachers. We said we'd work on it and both sides acknowledged is was developmentally normal but something to work on at school. His teachers seemed fine working with him on this, but the director, Aman, constantly talked about how disruptive he was. My son was put on probabtion by the director despite a good parent teacher conference. In fact, his teachers were incredibly good natured about my son's "disruptive" behavior and we even shared a laugh over one of the more ridiculous things he did. We would check in all the time and his teachers reiterated to us that he was rambunctious but normal, one teacher said he was just like her nephew and she knew how to work with a kid with his temperament. But then, when this teacher was out of town ... and my son acted up a little cause his favorite teacher wasn't there ... the director, Aman, called and told us he was being kicked out and we had something like 2 weeks to find other care. Not only was this really disruptive for everyone, it was just sad. My perfectly normal toddler was acting like a toddler and was rejected from a school for doing so. It was definitely for the best--he went to another school and thrived and we all made good friends there. But I will never forget how bad this experience was with Rocklin Ranch and I will let anyone I know considering that school not to go there.

What stands out most is the school's commitment to fostering a love of learning. Just in case you are looking for a great ABA provider, this one is top notch!!…read more We have had several ABA providers over the past 9 years and with the exception of a handful of AMAZING behavioral therapists from the other facilities, Get Social! Is by far the best company we have worked with. The BCBAs, Social Leaders, program supervisors and therapists are exceptional! They have social groups, which is a plus! They actually follow through with what is being set up, discussed, needs to be done, etc. We feel heard during the parent meetings and valued. The therapists seem well versed and adjust the sessions to the kids needs each day. The BCBA is part of sessions, which we have never seen before unless highly needed or requested. The whole team seems to be educated for the needs of my kids, not a cookie cutter program.

My favorite part about working with Cindy is how she consults with me as a parent. She helps to teach me the ways to help my son so that I can implement it between sessions. Obviously, if I'm implementing things at home with my son it will stick better than if he only gets it once or twice a week. This is a major difference between her model and some other therapists. I highly recommend Cindy. She is knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to helping children grow to their potential.

My teachers were Mr. Robison, Mr. Keisling, Mrs. Chew-Smyth, and Mrs. Ellis. These teachers were genuinely the most welcoming and loving teachers I've ever had, they made my seventh grade year better than everybody said it would be. I was told it would be the worst year of my life, but the teachers, the students, the inclusivity and diversity and welcoming every where made me feel so happy. I took advantage of the school and judged every part that I didn't like about it, and though it wasn't perfect, it was home. In my new school, there are no welcome signs anywhere, there's no personal connections with the teachers to the students, there's no happiness and it feels like just a business environment. I miss coming to Spring View every day and feeling welcomed. This isn't the perfect ideal school, but it is such an amazing environment, I so recommend it. Thank you Spring View for helping me.
