Worst educational experience ever. Went to obtain my masters and the entire group needs to obtain their own before they can support others

After thorough research, Rocklin Ranch Montessori stood out. Every teacher is not only professional but truly invested. Ms. Dama, for example, embraced Ari's quiet nature, encouraging growth at her pace. From Redwood with Ms. Karina to Juniper with Ms. Dama, transitions were seamless. Ari comes home every day glowing with excitement. If you're considering this place, rest assured Rocklin Ranch will be an excellent choice for your child!

My son attended this school for about 6 months, starting at age 21 months. Rocklin Ranch accepted our son, but had us ramp into a full day care very slowly. Like an hour a day at first. I've never had this experience--neither of my 2 boys ever had such a slow transition period across 3 other day care programs between them. This was frustrating as I my husband and I work full time and paid for full time care but the director, Aman, kept saying he wasn't ready. He was crying too much and it was disrupting other kids. Once he was adjusted things seemed to be going fine, with some comments about rowdy behavior or getting up during circle time from his teachers. We said we'd work on it and both sides acknowledged is was developmentally normal but something to work on at school. His teachers seemed fine working with him on this, but the director, Aman, constantly talked about how disruptive he was. My son was put on probabtion by the director despite a good parent teacher conference. In fact, his teachers were incredibly good natured about my son's "disruptive" behavior and we even shared a laugh over one of the more ridiculous things he did. We would check in all the time and his teachers reiterated to us that he was rambunctious but normal, one teacher said he was just like her nephew and she knew how to work with a kid with his temperament. But then, when this teacher was out of town ... and my son acted up a little cause his favorite teacher wasn't there ... the director, Aman, called and told us he was being kicked out and we had something like 2 weeks to find other care. Not only was this really disruptive for everyone, it was just sad. My perfectly normal toddler was acting like a toddler and was rejected from a school for doing so. It was definitely for the best--he went to another school and thrived and we all made good friends there. But I will never forget how bad this experience was with Rocklin Ranch and I will let anyone I know considering that school not to go there.

Just in case you are looking for a great ABA provider, this one is top notch!!…read more We have had several ABA providers over the past 9 years and with the exception of a handful of AMAZING behavioral therapists from the other facilities, Get Social! Is by far the best company we have worked with. The BCBAs, Social Leaders, program supervisors and therapists are exceptional! They have social groups, which is a plus! They actually follow through with what is being set up, discussed, needs to be done, etc. We feel heard during the parent meetings and valued. The therapists seem well versed and adjust the sessions to the kids needs each day. The BCBA is part of sessions, which we have never seen before unless highly needed or requested. The whole team seems to be educated for the needs of my kids, not a cookie cutter program.

She specializes in children with autistic spectrum disorders, but works with students with other issues as well. My son has been seeing Cindy for the past three months and his growth in that time has been tremendous. She is thorough, detailed and keeps data on everything to help you see your child's growth and to know when new goals are needed. My favorite part about working with Cindy is how she consults with me as a parent. She helps to teach me the ways to help my son so that I can implement it between sessions. Obviously, if I'm implementing things at home with my son it will stick better than if he only gets it once or twice a week. This is a major difference between her model and some other therapists. I highly recommend Cindy. She is knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to helping children grow to their potential.
