After 3 weeks, we still have not had a successful tutoring session and I have had to spend almost 8 hours on the phone trying to get help. At first, they kept matching her with tutors who were trying to schedule sessions outside of her availability - which was in her profile. We had to do the work of calling and complaining each time we matched with a tutor and they scheduled an incorrect session. For example, she is supposed to have tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We got session requests for Saturday at 7pm. wtf? Then, their customer service sucks. Most of their service reps are outside of the US and there is no way to escalate and talk to a manager. They say that a manager "will call you back in the next 24-48 hours", but if you miss that call, there is no way to call the manager back directly. You have to go through the ENTIRE song and dance again, with a new rep that knows nothing about your case. They FINALLY matched our kid with a tutor available during her time, but only after I spent SEVEN HOURS on the phone with them on Monday and had to talk to multiple different reps. I was hung up on twice by folks who said "what do you want me to do? Ive flagged the problem.". This week, our 6th grader was supposed to start her tutoring but guess what? The tutor has cancelled BOTH SESSIONS this week last minute. On Tuesday, she cancelled about 30 minutes before our session and didnt find another tutor to step in. Today, she cancelled 5 minutes before our session without even a "sorry". I called the customer service line back and have just spent the last 45 minutes on the phone trying to talk to a manager about this with no luck. Interestingly, the customer service reps have no authority to help you with your tutor or cancel your membership. This place is a horrible scam. They do not care about you. They do not care about your children. They do not care about education.

On the contrary, they try to demean you into quitting the class and profession all together. The military style instructor should find a new career or retire. It is clear he isn't happy and takes it out on everyone in the class. He has a big time power trip going on when he should be educating his students. Then when you do quit in order to find a real class that can teach you properly in a reasonable environment, they immediately send you to collections for the payment for the rest of the class without first even letting you know that you owe anything. Please save yourself a lot of misery and find somewhere else to take your EMS, EMT or other medical training. Project Heartbeat is a disgrace to the profession.

They gave me two sheets of thin papers and two pencils. That was habitually not prepared. The service lady did the routine body check and said something that I did not hear her right. She was inpatient and then started to raise her voice. Then I realized she wanted me to turn around. Dude... I was so embarrassed. The first 10 minutes of the exam was difficult and long case studies. Then out of no where, one of the service guys tapped my shoulder and asked me if I dropped a key. At first, I couldn't understand him. He repeated a few times. I was puzzled, but finally understood him. I told him that I got dropped off for the exam and I didn't drive. Then the guy left me alone. However, that interruption threw me off guard. I made myself answered all questions on time with remaining time to check, but the interruption and unexpected resources did throw me off guard.
