Best place to learn cpr in Sacramento! This by far has been the best place to learn cpr from my experience. The first class I took was cpr, aed and a first aid class and it was fantastic! My instructor covered a ton of material with a top-notch, high tech instructional presentation with plenty of hands on practice time. It was fun, enjoyable and educational. I was never bored! I went back and took CPR for the Professional Rescuer/Healthcare Provider and left the class knowing so much more about how to provide care at the professional rescuer level. I felt even more confident in my cpr, aed and assessment skills. Both class days were really enjoyable!! My instructor was very knowledgeable and has the field experience that really made a difference in my learning experience. All the practice equipment provided in class was new and clean, and each student had their own manikins for practice. I won't go anywhere else to renew or certify!!!!! Last time I went through the City of Sacramento Parks and Rec to get lifeguard certified, the experience was very negative. This time around I chose Safety Training Pros and Sarah was an amazing instructor. She has fabulous teaching skills and really prepares her classes to react and respond effectively under pressure. I did a lifeguard certification class last week in Stockton with Sarah Van Der Volgen and Katryna Anderson. I went into the class not really knowing what to expect and scared I wouldn't be able to pass. But, Sarah and Katryna made this a very enjoyable three days and were awesome teachers that by the end i felt super prepared. They helped all of us whenever they knew we were struggling with certain things. I felt very prepared going into the physical and written test portions even though it was a lot of information to take in three days. If you are looking into becoming a certified lifeguard, I highly recommend them as your teachers! They will make it an easy and fun experience. I came to Safety Training Solutions to renew my lifeguard and CPR training. After talking with the instructor a bit we were able to set up a class for my entire staff of 10. Not only did we all get recertified in CPR, but our instructor stayed and renewed the lifeguard certifications for 4 of my guards. Not only did this make it easy for us to stay in sync and review together, but the instructor came to our facility to do the class. As far as the class went, it was very well taught and the instructor kept it simple and quick since it was a review. We were able to move at our own pace, and focus on areas that we needed more work. I will definitely be coming back here next year to get our certifications renewed. read more

Back in September of 2016 They both trained me at my job in Stockton @ Walton, so that I could become a certified Lifeguard. Their knowledge of classroom education and water traing is excellent. Superb Lifeguard training! The American Red Cross blended learning program(a portion done on-line and two days hands on learning) was just the right class for me. This company had outstanding and efficient customer service before the training as well as during and after the training. Katryna Anderson created a positive learning environment that promoted" YOU CAN DO THIS !" I recommend buying the lifeguard book from American Red Cross as it is easier to study from unless you print all 300 pages of the on-line book. I highly recommend Safety Training Pros as they care about their students and promote their success. I can't say the same about the doom and gloom training of the less than helpful Sacramento City Life Guard Training Program. Go with the best....Safety Training Pros!!! read more

I took the life guard course and it was completely worthwhile. My instructer Katrina, was extremely knowledgeable and encouraging, she made sure everyone knew each skill inside out before moving on to the next. The class took place over a three day period which took a little pressure off, since we had time to soak up all the information. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to be a life guard, you'll be more than qualified to be work anywhere after the course.
