I had a great experience here in my AHA BLS certification course. Between a combination of videos, instructor teaching, practicing skills on CPR dummies, and two person practice. I felt confident in my skills after course completion. Our instructor Rowena was highly qualified in this field and she did a great job in teaching us all the necessary skillsets needed for life saving CPR situations. I'd recommend this location for BLS. It was a lot easier to signup for the class through their direct website rather than the AHA one. read more

I chose to take a CPR class to educate myself. Hopewell was located near my residence. Also, their website is comprehensive and the classes are affordable in comparison to what you gain. I had the pleasure of receiving instruction from the lovely Danielle Scott. She is a natural leader, kind, great sense of humor, professional, very knowledgeable. Her instruction was interactive, thorough, and enjoyable. She made sure we understood what was happening in every module; how to approach, identify, and resolve. There were no "dumb" questions. Not only did she answer every question, she would perform a tutorial to give us a better understanding. Danielle debunked OLD CPR/First AID actions/myths and re educated us about new/revised techniques. I really enjoyed the class! I just took the CPR first aid for adults and children class yesterday. The teacher Emily was really knowledgeable and taught the class extremely well. Bonus was she was really funny and made it enjoyable. They showed a lot of training videos and we had hands on training with the CPR dummies and also did first aid on our classmate. She made sure we all did it correctly on everything we were taught. The facilities were clean. Everybody there was very nice. They even had Complimentary coffee and cookies. I highly recommend this place if you do need to get a CPR and first aid certificate. read more

Excellent service and training. I had to find a class right away, same day, they had a class available within the next two hours and I was there. The booklet, videos and instructor kept the re-learning process interesting. The best part were the mannequins, they had sensors to indicate if you were doing the compressions correct. More life-like than I had ever had and the chest rose when breaths were done right. Afterwards, my instructor, Maria said that they are open for people to practice their skills if they need a little refresher, once in a while. Whether they got their CPR certification there or not. I attended a five-and-a-half hour training session at Hopewell that covered first aid, CPR, and AED for adults, children, and toddlers, and found it to be time and money well-spent. From initial contact and scheduling through the actual training, Kim was responsive, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Even though the DVD materials were quite clear and easy to follow, Kim was present the entire time to answer questions, to share her own experiences and tips, and to pause the video periodically to take questions before moving on. Even though she budgeted ample time for discussion and questions, we still managed to finish right on time. The location was convenient with ample parking, and the office was clean and tidy. Also, the equipment was absolutely adequate for hands-on practice and learning. Class availability was another important factor -- I was able to get in with just two day's notice. Finally, I should mention that even though there are a few training outfits in the area that provide the same training and certification, prices do vary. I found Hopewell's prices to be the most reasonable. I was very pleased with my experience, and I highly recommend Hopewell to others who wish to learn these important and life-saving skills. read more

I sent my 12-year old daughter to the Heartsaver pediatric course for childcare professionals so that she could babysit her new cousin. She found the class enjoyable and it was set at a pace that she was able to keep up with. She was even able to teach my sister-in-law some strategies for helping her baby until the paramedics arrived, in the case of an emergency. This class is very useful and the information can be lifesaving. It was definitely worth the investment. read more
