Thinking "I'm doing it for my family" à la Breaking Bad, I begrudgingly signed up, and found it to be the best HR-sponsored event I've been to (high bar...). Vicki made a dry topic immensely entertaining and explained things in a clear and intuitive way that is easy to remember and share with others. As a fellow cheeseball, I'm appreciative of her teaching style and learned a lot. I have taken several American Heart Association CPR/AED courses over the years and CPR Training for Life is by far the best course. Vicki is knowledgeable and engaging with students. The course was both extremely informative and well presented. the hands on practice stations and 1/1 instruction was outstanding. It was my first time being trained for both CPR and first aid. I cannot imagine anyone being able to execute the training better than Vickie. She is able to capture the room with her vast knowledge and along with her quick wit and a little humor keeps everyone's attention for the entire session. Vickie was a great teacher! She was engaging, informative and funny! I think I'd sure want her around if I were having a heart attack! Had to do this as part of my job. I've taken CPR/first aid classes before and they're pretty much all the same...BORING. But this one was different. Vickie was our instructor and she made the class fun. She peppered the lesson with various jokes/puns that were designed to prove a point. She also got right to the point. She did not waste time.
