I would readily recommend Antarctic Air if you encounter problems with your home air conditioning. I will also be specific in mentioning why I do.
I happened to be house-sitting for some friends who were out of town when their air conditioner quit working. When I let the owner know, I suggested a company my landlord uses, but she already knew exactly which company was the best to call--and soon enough, I could certainly see why.
The Antarctic Air company was prompt in taking care of the need. I believe it was somewhat urgent in nature because not only was it a sweltering hot day, but she had a couple of dogs. Personally, I could take the uncomfortable fact that I was sweating, but I was worried the dogs would start panting. I fed them ice chips, but I didn't have to do that for long.
Two of the reps came out soon that same day and took care of the problem. Jonathan, a service technician from Antarctic Air, came to the door. I've rarely said this, if ever, but I could tell right off the bat just from his demeanor why the owner recommended calling them.
Being able to tell in my gut that we were going to get quality service just from the rep's disposition--even before he started working on the unit--added to the relief and spoke volumes.
Jonathan has a positive and truly awesome demeanor. It wasn't just the standard, friendly customer service attitude, but also one that you could instantly tell was authentically genuine. He was glad to come and help fix the problem.
I met two of the servicemen from Antarctic Air: Jonathan and another very friendly technician named Alex, who was also working on the A/C unit. They were very thorough. They showed me and explained the problem, and they were patient with me asking many questions.
Further, they went above and beyond by checking other peripheral areas of the central air unit, which really gave me extra peace of mind.
I would definitely recommend Antarctic Air and their stellar service techs, Jonathan and Alex. They were professional, knowledgeable, knew what they were doing to a "T," and took pride in what they do! read more
