A good, reasonably priced couscous is hard to find in Dublin, I generally have to go to a proper restaurant to get my fill. When MoMo's opened in this spot about ten years ago, I was so happy! After a couple of years though, the quality of food there went way downhill; the soupy sauce was watery and salty, the veg soft, the meat not so juicy, the couscous soggy. Tragedy! This new kebab/couscous/burger place has opened in the old location so fingers crossed it matches MoMo's. I tried the chicken couscous as a takeaway tonight and...I'm not sure. The chicken was decent quality, the couscous fluffy and the sauce was delish, but I would have liked a few veg maybe. It's still finding its feet having only opened two days ago, and maybe a sitdown meal would have been nicer, but we'll see. The staff are incredibly friendly and one of them claims to remember me from the old MoMo's days. I'll be keeping an eye on these lads. read more
