In my head I'm thinking- No, I'm standing here adorning the the counter. No one wants to be bothered. If my husband needed changing, a beverage or info regarding his medical plan it is ignored. I used to recommend Albany Med with high marks, no more!!! Oh, and the attending physician never even tried to connect with me for two days after I left several avenues to communicate information. Where previous physicians dismissed my complaints and were quick to trust test results without first listening to what I had to say, Dr. Kelleher started with a head-to-toe discussion to find out what my problems and symptoms were. He answers my questions (even when they're silly) and listens to my explanations of what's going on with my body. The doctors, nurses, and staff were as compassionate as can be and seemed to truly care about my well-being. Also, they were very supportive of all decisions and non-judgmental. I knew I was in good hands for 9 months. My L&D experience was amazing because of the team. They are the kindest humans ever and made a nerve-wracking experience surprisingly easy.
