Saw MD Riccio for some ear symptoms -…read morewalked her through the history of symptoms and at home remedies over approx. 60-days - she looked in my ears and essentially she said "I have nothing to add/help/diagnosis or next steps" and asked me to "book another appointment in 3-weeks" presumably so they could bill me again. I left the office thinking Riccio was incompetent and called the Practice Manager to explain, and let him know I was not comfortable paying for zero value added! He read Riccio's notes out loud to me and it became evident she incorrectly recorded her notes to justify her work (notes said she made a suggested next step, but did not include I replied/informed her that was the first step tried prior with no joy). The time on the phone with the Practice Manger tried my patients (he was not impressive) but I remained professional through the end of the call .... My high deductible insurance and I were just bellied at full price

We walked in and registered. Entered the waiting room which was full. I turned to my husband and said we are going to have a wait because we are walk-ins. Ten minutes later, Dr. Spiro walked into the waiting room and called me back to his exam room. He knew right away what the problem was, gave me a prescription and said you do not have to come back unless this doesn't work. Two years later I had to take my husband to see him. For several years we saw him twice a year. After my husband died I found I needed a dermatologist. I have been seeing him ever since. It is with tears in my eyes I find I have to leave his practice because I am now handicapped and can not climb the stairs. I wish I could move his office.

Over the course of time, my minimal skin issues moved me under the care of Nancy Trzcinski, FNP. I found this small practice and Nurse Nancy's care met my needs. Though I do find it odd that so many of the burn/freeze treatments were done without numbing agents (ouch). Honestly, I would still be a patient here, however my recently missed appointment (my first IN SIX YEARS) became cause for a $50 no-show fee. Realizing my error, I called 15 minutes after my appointment time. I acknowledged I made a mistake, apologized, and asked to reschedule. Admin asked me if I could come in ASAP, but I had other commitments. From this point on I was met with policy. I mentioned my good patient history, stating that this was my first missed appointment. At that point, I was informed my very first appointment in 2018 was *actually* my first no-show. Well, *actually* I'll take my business elsewhere. And I advise anyone reading to do the same. Perhaps this is just where society is now. There is no doctor-patient loyalty. There's especially no room for patient error (but don't talk to them if the doc is running late!). Perhaps my annual or bi-annual visits weren't valued enough to keep me on the roster... Orrr perhaps the practice is really just that hard up for $50.

I'm immunocompromised and DK was the first one to diagnose me with this issue 10yrs ago. Well the last few years I've been very sickly and this doctor doesn't care to figure out why? Today her office called and said well she's not an immunologist and recommended I see a previous doctor that couldn't find anything wrong with me?! Well she's the one claiming to be an immunologist 10 yrs ago and to try and treat me as such? The staff is very rude and it takes weeks for them to call you back. She rushes you through every appointment and then tells me to call my regular doctor for sinus and ear issues? I don't understand what has happened to this practice. I'm officially done and I've heard similar stories as well. Very sad I had to say goodbye to my favorite doctor.
