The event map helped a lot, and vendors were easy to find. There was a great mix of food, drinks, desserts, chocolates, warm meals, and even merchandise, plus short chef demos and fun bartending classes happening throughout the festival. The venue itself handled the crowd well, and the aisles were clearly marked, which made walking around comfortable. It was nice to see live chef presentations where they explained dishes step by step. Parking is available in both the North Building and South Building garages, which is convenient, but it is on the expensive side.

You must be 19+ since there is alcohol samples served. It occupies a huge area. There are lots of interesting food and drinks. The nice thing is there are samples at 30% of the vendors. I enjoyed myself on a Sat aft. There was so much to see and consume that we spent 3.5 hours there. Got in lots of steps, including 25 mins walk each way to and from the venue; a good way to work off 5% of the calories I consumed! Near the centre of the hall, there are a few stand-up tables and a DJ. Near the front of the hall, there are many tables. There are cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs. The first time I went was as a Drive Through Experience during the Spring of 2021. Unfortunately the experience was very lackluster. You go through all the trouble of booking a time slot, and when you arrive, not only is there no space to enter, but there is no free parking as you have to wait for the cars ahead of you to go through. Its basically a drive through, but they should have accounted for having X number of cars during time period Y. When we finally started driving through, there was no real explanation of the exhibits or paintings, just a projected screen, and when we wanted to stop to take photos, we were told we had to keep moving. I'd previously made a review explaining this, however the manager (or someone in charge) contacted our group and offered to give complimentary tickets for the summer as they were back to in-person. Thats the only reason for the 3/5. As for the in person, yes there was social distancing circles, but they didn't do much as everyone freely moved around the whole time without staff intervening. Again, no real explanation for the photos as they were projected, just projected images accompanied by music. If the exhibit wasn't titled Van Gogh, you might not even know it was his paintings being projected.

Just got home from my second visit here, first time by myself and this time I took two of my…read moresisters and a friend. We had a blast! Very slick, clean and organized place, great selection of games and the staff are wonderfully helpful. If you need help getting used to the equipment, they're there. If you just want to log in and do your thing, they give you space but will pop in on mic once in a while to make sure you're comfortable. The price is a little steep for me so I can't go as often as I"d like, but the two times I've been thus far have been a blast. I really think it's a great place to give VR a try if you've never played it before! One thing I wanted to stress is cleanliness. When you walk in, the smell reminded me of a hospital - which to me was great because that assures me that they keep the equipment clean and sanitized and I had no qualms about using it - I was completely at ease. They also have a pretty good referral and monthly membership program that gives you all sorts of discounts - I used mine to bring my sisters and everyone got 15% off which REALLY helped convince them to try it out, lol. They have a large selection of games to choose from. I definitely recommend going for at least an hour or more, especially if it's your first time, because we found that getting used to the mechanics and learning the games takes some time. Live events have finally return to Yelp AND in Mississauga! I originally had tickets to this event…read morein 2020/21, so it was nice that this came full-circle. Tickets were $30 and that included a souvenir glass with 2 drink @4oz/food tokens. Event space was all under one roof for 15 breweries and there was also a small outdoor patio. Food-wise, there wasn't too much selection with 1 cheese place, Tatsu Bakery, a momo place, and a vendor with no sign. Additional tokens were $2.50ea. Tokens didn't really get your much in the way of food, maybe 1 hors d'oeuvres. Certainly not enough for a meal. My plan of attack was simple, visit the breweries that were new to me! Personally, the breweries that I think did the best had some kind of big signage, including one listing all the brews that were available including a brief description. As there was live music playing, I found it quite difficult to communicate with some of the vendors and volunteers. At one point, they also had a live DJ. Turnout seemed to be good, it wasn't too crowded on Friday night. There was also plenty of space to move around and enjoy your beer. Since this is the first year of the event, I think it'll just get better!

I love doing home museum tours because I have always found them fascinating in a way; it's a great…read moreway to see inside of a person's life, and get a sense of the time period of which they lived in so I was pretty excited to see the Campbell House listed as a participate of the "Open Doors" while I visited Toronto. Overall this was a perfectly fine hose to explore. I'm not sure if only certain rooms were closed off merely for Open Doors if things are always shut off but I only had access to certain rooms and there wasn't much in each room. There wasn't a guided tour so I kind of wondered aimlessly through two rooms on the first floor and the two on the second floor. That's not saying that the house isn't beautiful or that I didn't learn anything, I just didn't learn much. Since it was free during that weekend I didn't mind it, but don't think I'd run back again to do another walk through. I do think it's fascinating that they moved this home from one location to another, but don't know why they would put it next to a subway station on a busy street. If you're looking for a short amount of time to kill (maybe 30 minutes) then check it out, but there are plenty more interesting sites in Toronto of historical nature that I'd go to first.
